I did an online order for pick up and didn’t realize it was the wrong location until I got to tropical smoothie in laurel to pick up my smoothies. I called the college park location to let them know I accidentally ordered my smoothies to the wrong location and I do not drive so I could not get to them. They told me they don’t do refunds. This is crazy they basically just scammed me out of my money. Ofc I called my bank and just disputed the charge because there is no way you’re gonna get money out of me for something I did not receive. You guys need to have better customer service.

I work down the street and this is my 3rd time coming and last! Every time I come in here , the attitudes are just nasty. I feel very unwelcome and there’s needs to be additional training on how customers should be treated! Every time I ask for something additional, I get the side eye. Rolling of the eyes. I just can’t. The lady with the red hair and manager gave me the worst experience!

Don’t go here! I got bad food poisoning and tried calling the place 5 times no one answered!Update: I’ve gotten food poisoning from contaminated rice. The people working are not following food safety protocols and are leaving food out at room temperature and serving it to people. I know other people who have also gotten food poisoning from this location and I’ve also seen numerous reviews stating that they are not wearing gloves while preparing food.

Gave this shop one last shot it is 1205noon, the girl fixing the drinks this day, 11/22, is fixing drinks like she's full of rage, literally slamming the blender covers as loud as she can, I've never witnessed such craziness, got a refund and left, Done. There should be a button for zero

Ordered the chicken chorizo 'dilla and a detox island in the app. The quesadilla was ok, I like flavor so the sauce was necessary. Smoothie was excellent. The location was clean, staff was attentive, food was on time and a good experience as usual.

My smothie was too thick i had to use a spoon. I'm not complaining I'm just stating a fact.The reason why I gave this place a 1 star review is because how dirty this place looked. Also VERY rusty areas. Like how does something get that rusty.

My recent visit to Tropical Smoothie Cafe turned out to be a delightful surprise, even though I didn't order a smoothie. As soon as I entered, I noticed how clean and inviting the place was. It had a pleasant ambiance with a few spots to sit and enjoy your food or smoothie, making it a comfortable place to dine. Instead of a smoothie, I decided to try something different and opted for the Mango Bacon Brie Flatbread. It turned out to be an amazing choice. This unique flatbread featured grilled chicken, bacon, brie, tomato, spinach, and mango mustard. The combination might sound unusual, but I decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken and brie cheese complemented each other perfectly, and the addition of mango mustard added a sweet and tangy twist. To complement my meal, I ordered Jalapeno chips, which turned out to be the perfect side. Their slightly spicy kick added an extra layer of flavor that tied everything together.
Smoothie was good. Cleanliness is questionable. Customer service is borderline rude.

I came in for a smoothie as a quick snack. I got the peanut butter cup smoothie and added strawberries to it. It tasted good, so there were no complaints there. However, my issue was with the employees and their choice of conversation. Between the use of a word that rhymes with "cities" to describe female anatomy and a detailed explanation of the health benefits of eating a placenta, I was shocked! I don't mind conversations like that with friends or family if it comes up. But I don't expect to hear conversations about eating placentas or making soap out of it and giving it to coworkers without telling them what it is by the people preparing my food! I didn't feel comfortable saying anything to them or asking to talk with a manager because I'm a man, and these were all women. I wasn't sure whether or not they would understand that maybe, because they're AT WORK, they shouldn't be having this kind of conversation ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! Everyone working there today appeared to be no older than 21 or 22, if that. I probably won't be back...

Great cafe in the College Park area, pretty clean as well! I ordered a Strawberry Margarita Mocktail and it was delicious and refreshing.It was $7.99 which I feel is a bit overpriced but not unreasonable, as the drink was sizable. However, I believe the drinks are all pre-made and not freshly made after you order.

They don’t wear gloves! I thought it was just the person the first time I went, but when I went back again, a different lady literally walked over texting on her phone bare handed. She put the phone on the table, rubbed her hands against her pants (I guess this was her form of washing off her hands) then grabs the scooper to start adding ingredients to her cup. I am seeing her hands touch the fruits slightly as she scoops. Then she come over to the ice, scoops the ice while her hands are touching the ice as well. Once they gave me the drink, I tossed it. This is how illness spreads. FYI, no one had gloves on. Smh
