Gong Cha is my favorite bubble tea place, and I'm so happy that they now have a Columbia location! I like that you can customize toppings, ice level, sugar level, etc. The milk tea is great, and I recently tried a honeydew drink-- highly recommend!
Located at a booth/stall in Columbia Mall, it's a convenient location with plenty of parking at the mall. It is located on the second level of the mall near JCPenney and across from an Auntie Anne's booth/stall. I came on grand opening day, and they were doing a promotion for a free dirty brown sugar milk tea (m), which is what I tried. After eating dinner at The Mall in Columbia, we stopped by Gong Cha kiosk for bubble tea. On the kiosk, you can't adjust the sugar levels for the drinks. I ordered the Lemon Wintermelon with Basil Seeds and Aloe. I asked for less sugar but they said there's no added sugar in it. It ended up being too sweet for me to enjoy it.
