“I love Colala Grind Express! I just finished my fourth meal here, all dining in, and each time has been a satisfying dining experience. The food is great. I especially like the braised dishes and the pineapple bread. The dining room is very attractive and clean. The background music is soothing and conducive to conversation. The employee I've interacted with each time is a sweet guy and eager to help. It's a little pricey but we'll worth it to me.“
“Five stars aren’t enough! Busy for Easter Brunch, but that didn’t interfere with the service or quality of the meal. Good coffee too! Too bad it’s a 7-hour drive from home; we’d be regulars! We must return for desserts, more than once.I left a “fan letter” on the flatware pouch which is now on display at the register.Parking: It was busy but we had no problem finding a parking spot.“
“All day breakfast is always nice to find, especially when it's done as well as they do it here. The pricing is right for the working man or retiree. If you prefer a tasty sub or burger, they offer those, too. Metered parking is easy to find right out front. This is a friendly diner spot with a fun atmosphere, comfy booths or counter seating and great service. It's one of those diners that makes you relax and feel at home! Go try it for yourself!“
“I have lived in the area since 2008. I would drive by this place for years and say "I need to stop by there and try that place out!" Well, I finally did in 2023! Great hometown diner spot! It's got a home type of feel, and the restaurant looks like it probably did back in the 1970s! Prices are very reasonable. The food is good! I was surprised that the Burger here is HUGE and has that classic char grilled taste! The Chicken Monterrey is very good! They have a well priced Country Fried Steak. The Cream of Crab Soup here is EXCELLENT when they have it available. Good Sandwiches, and the waitresses refill my Iced Tea without having to ask! :) I come here like every other week now for lunch! Highly recommend!“
“They were very busy. We asked for a table for 9 people and after a short wait they got us seated. They took our orders and very quickly we were served. The food was excellent and plentiful. Our waitress was very nice and did an excellent job!“
“This was my first visit. The crab balls were outstanding but pricey. The menu was large. The sweet potato pancakes were good but were undercooked. The French toast topped with fruit and whipped cream was outstanding. The scrambled eggs were ok. The scrapple and bacon were good. The diner is small. The staff was caring, friendly, warm and welcoming.“
“I went to Chuck’s for the first time 5 years ago while visiting Baltimore from New Jersey. Since then I have been back 7 times. I try to stop as often as possible. It’s literally my favorite place on earth, the vibe, the food, and the service are amazing!“
“I did carry out here for the drunken crabcake. I had been looking at it on Facebook for a week and decided to get it for my birthday dinner. We ordered four of them and they were wonderful. The crabcake is delicious! I would definitely order these again they come with a side of salad or soup, and we got Maryland crab on the side. That was very good as well. The order was ready when we arrived to pick it up and the two ladies that waited on me were very friendly and very quick. I will order from here again, and we have said that we will go for dining in also. What A Great job Blvd.! P.S. try one of the $1 cookies on a tray by checkout.... YUM!!!“
