“The food is good. The service is excellent. Some of the customers were playing their phones too loud. Great selection of food.Vegetarian options: For the price. This is for meat and seafood people.Parking: There are many spots right around the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids love it here!Wheelchair accessibility: Of course.“
“This place has one heck of an atmosphere! Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off. The restroom was clean. I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review! Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable.“
“Omi's is a cut above most Japanese and Chinese fusion restaurants. The food is easy to enjoy over and over.I had the Salmon and Steak Teppanyaki which was quite shocking as it was well seasoned and paired well with my lite lunch appetite. I had some yum yum sauce and eel sauce and didn't need to add anything because the meat was not dry. The fillet and stake was a well done dish. The food is great and service is super fast because I came there and in less than 7 mins me and about 5 other people plus some dashers were able to pick up food fresh as fast as we ordered it. Plus they didn't skimp on portions either because you got what you paid for, which is a hot, off the grill, and not a frozen or preheated or semi sweetened food.Only thing I didn't know, or like was that it was not as visible from the main road. Which is after the Little Caesars and next to the bowling lanes. Otherwise, I would have came here first instead of the Panda Express which was kinda off the beat. One more thing was that it was a okay experience because all the chairs were metal. I just need better place to sit down... that's all.I will try the sushi rolls, or vegetarian options next time.Parking: 20 to 30 in the strip mallKid-friendliness: Easy menu for kids and places to sit down with them as well.“
“Food:The sushi here is so good. It's some of the best I've had since moving to Baltimore. My favorite (so far) is the R (Roll) Lewis. The unagi and soft shell crab are also wonderful.Service:The server was attentive, never letting our water run out. Our food came out quickly, and the extra roll we ordered before we left arrived fast and packaged well.Atmosphere:We didn't get to see the whole restaurant, as we sat near the entrance. The chair felt a bit uncomfortable. But other than that, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.“
“From a takeout perspective, ordered the 20 piece sushi dinner but I think there was a mix up and we got 20 pieces of sashimi instead. Didn't realize until we got home. Sashimi was good but the sushi was a win. When dining, it's a casual small restaurant with a casual ambiance. Appears often busy and well located. The miso and clear soup are fresh and hot. Would recommend the sunset sushi roll. Vegetarian options were less thrilling.“
“I eat here so much I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Here's what I appreciate about Sushi Q...always consistent. The food is always prepared well. Everything tastes fresh and the service is always good. Their signature sushi rolls are amazingly creative and always good. My favorite of all of them is the Veterans Highway roll with real crabmeat. You have to try it. It doesn't matter if you eat in or get takeout, you will not go wrong here! Next time I'll take a pic of the deliciousness!“
“This was my go to restaurant growing up nearby. They have the best miso i have ever tasted, quality california rolls and their wasabi is top notch!! I live a half hour away now but it is worth the drive just for pickup, amazing service. Its next to panera a little hidden gem of towson that produces such flavor.“
“Can't comment on the sushi since I didn't order any. Service was okay and prices were reasonable. The only thing I could complain about was the same person that seated us, took our orders and was bartending. The service could have been a little bit better but it wasn't horrible. When I asked if the drinks on their menu were for rail drinks she seemed very confused. I asked her what vodka they carried that was above Smirnoff grade. When I walked over to the bar I found her taking a photo of a bottle of Absolute Vodka. I asked her to show me the vodkas. I wish she would have told me she wasn't an experienced bartender. I wasn't trying to make her job any harder.I will definitely go back.“
“I've become a regular of this restaurant to the point where as soon as they see me walk in, they grab my online order. The food is always wonderful, but more than that, this staff always goes above and beyond to make sure my order is exactly how I want it. I will always recommend this place!!“
“Between portion size, the obvious skill and care they put into their food, and busy takeout orders, it can take a little to get your food since it seems like they always have like two people total. But the food itself always makes it worth it. Always delicious, always too much to finish. They take care of you. Plus honestly the smaller shop and relaxed atmosphere can be a good way to unwind from hectic days. There’s good sushi places closer to where we live, but if it’s date night sushi it’s always Kiku’s.“
“I had a random craving for sushi and my normal go to carry out place had stopped taking orders for the night, so I decided to order from Arigato. I'm so glad I did! The pearl river roll here is my favorite to date I've had from any sushi restaurant. The side order of fried rice was so huge I ate leftovers for two days. The spicy mayo actually has quite a kick to it and is so much better than the run of the mill sauce served at other places. Absolutely delicious!“
“This was my first time here but I was informed that they are under new management. I don’t know anything about the previous owner but the new owner and the chef were both very kind. They were also very patient with me, as I had no idea what to order, especially because I am a picky eater. After speaking with the chef about what I do and don’t like in my sushi rolls, he recommended a crispy shrimp roll and he added cream cheese. It was DELICIOUS! I am so glad that I stopped in. I plan to go back again soon for lunch or happy hour.“
“Love the welcome energy! That right there sets the tone for a great time anywhere! We were greeted and seat pretty fast.. Order some amazing drinks that tapped into my soul. After I was able to order several sushi hand rolls that got better with each bite. Also was able to dabble around the menu eating various items with none of them being a disappointment. Our waiter was full of laughter and good jokes.. was able to talk to the owner who kept the vibes going good.. we stayed for like an Hour n half just enjoying!“
“Ordered pickup and everything was amazing!! Very quick and nice. Sushi was good, we got America dream roll, rainbow roll, shrimp tempura, shrimp asparagus & avacado and a normal California roll. Pork goyoza and veg spring rolls were hot and had great sauces!“
“Smaltimore is a great neighborhood bar. My only complaint is the wings have gone downhill over the past year. They advertise that they have Delia Foleys wings (which are the best in town) but the past few times I’ve had them they were very dry. Almost as if they’ve been reheated. Bummed out on the wings, but otherwise good experiences at smaltimore.“
“My first time trying poke and I loved it! This is a little shop on The Avenue in White Marsh. I'm not sure how long they've been there, but I feel like I visit The Avenue somewhat often, and I just noticed it for the very first time in the last couple of weeks. The staff was friendly and patient as I took my time deliberating over the menu. Since I've never tried poke before, I decided to get one of their premade recipes off of the menu. I decided on the Hunt Valley Classic Bowl, which has ahi tuna and salmon, a bunch of toppings (my favorites including the seaweed salad and mango), and their house sauce. The house sauce is a teriyaki sauce with a touch of sweetness. I LOVED that sauce, I wish there was more in the bowl! Everything tasted so bright and fresh, and the serving size was pretty big. I tried some of the Tempura Dragon Bowl too, but didn't have the experience of eating the whole thing. The pieces of chicken and shrimp were fried to order, and they were so crispy and crunchy! We did have to wait a few minutes for those proteins to cook, but it wasn't too long. I definitely want to go back for a second visit. There are so many options and variations to try. I need to concoct my own creation!“
“Good Day Everyone,I have come to this place twice since it opened. The place was clean and smelled wonderful. Every employee was nice and greeted me with a smile. The food I purchased was hot and delicious!! I recommend this place 100%. If you are a sushi lover, I fell in love with the Chesapeake roll, and definitely recommend it.“
“My family sometimes in the past had gotten carry out from here before we dined in. Since the tables are all on the second floor at the top of some steep stairs accessibility probably isn't the best. There is a large menu, with plenty of options. I ordered the beef teriyaki lunch which came with soup, salad, and rice, I really enjoyed it. I also ordered a marble soda which was pretty tasty, although it took a few seconds for me to open since it's been so long since I had one. In order to open a marble soda you need to take off the plastic film, remove the outer cap, punch out the opener from the middle of the removed cap, and then you can use the opener to dislodge the marble so that you can have a drink.“
“I've been here twice now and will be back because of the affordable quality nigiri and prime location by the water. The restaurant itself has a cozy vibe, not too fancy. That's fine-- I'm all about food over ambiance if given the choice between the other. I am a sushi enthusiast (gimme the omakases!) and was hankering for some fresh wasabi, but I guess they don't offer that here. The service is alright. The first time around, I sat on the mats with a friend (pretty neat that they offer that, I've only seen it in a few izakaya style restaurants). The waitress was nice but felt like the timing was off for when we wanted certain things (ordering, receiving food, receiving the bill). The second time around, I sat at the sushi bar and was able to be helped more promptly and in a pattern that made more sense to me. The sushi chefs were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.As far as food goes, the aburi toro is phenomenal! 3 large chunks of flame-seared toro marinated in a citrusy umami sauce for $20.The rockfish is topped with a spicy orange garnish that adds a great little kick. The salmon belly is quality. You can tell by how fresh, vibrant, and near-translucent they look. It's also my favorite nigiri! The tuna belly was good, not as marbled as I'd like, but still good. Thick, juicy portions.I'd pass on the yellowtail belly, it wasn't quite as melty-in-your-mouth as the tuna belly and salmon belly. Can you tell I love the bellies? Try them out for yourself“
“Went for the omakase on a Thursday lunch.Clean, firm, deeply-colored fish. Rice was well-seasoned. The chef added subtle but flavorful twists or garnishes to each nigiri. Finished us off with two delicious maki made from fresh scraps of tuna and salmon. The place was empty during our whole visit, which was surprising given how much we enjoyed the meal. Notably, the portions were quite large. Don’t underestimate this one - you will be full after!“
“The food was really fresh and delicious. The ambiance was lovely. They were very friendly and welcoming too! I wish I could give them 6 stars. Exceptional service for a cute little spot. Get some of the calamari, best in the area! And the prices were great.“
“this is one of my favorite spots in baltimore for good sushi- great service, reasonable prices, and overall great food. its never super loud or busy inside, which is nice to have a good relaxing meals. it's a staple in our lunch rotation.“
“Today was the second time i ordered food from Sakura 2 and they never fail. Perfect for a late night meal. I have ordered cheesesteak egg rolls for my friend and she said its the best she ever had. Its hot crispy and fresh. I ordered sushi which was good but the drunken noodles are amazing!!! I love this place! Thank you!“
“Arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and was immediately seated ! Explained to the the hostess we drove an astronomical distance and was our first time visiting, after talking to the manager we was seated immediately! We ordered food and drinks, extremely impressed with their service!!! Will definitely be visiting again soon!“
“We had a great experience here. We went on Valentine’s Day and didn’t have a reservation but had no wait. We even got a cute Valentine’s Day gift! The food was very very good and the service was excellent. Portions are large for a good price too! We got 3 large dishes, 2 appetizers, and beverages all for around $80.“
“I enjoyed everything about this place. Get there and there were no other customers in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. Had a few rolls and an order of the shrimp and vegetable tempura. The eel rolls never disappoint but the tempura was more veg than shrimp. Nothing tasted past it's prime and price was not bad either. Overall food was decent but I really like the environment. Sat by the window and wasn't pressured to leave after eating must have spent two hours just chatting away before realizing still hadn't gotten the check.“
“I love this restaurant! I came here for my birthday dinner, and the service was exceptional, simply amazing! The evening staff on March 6th we're so nice and accommodating, went above and beyond for me to feel special on my birthday ? The food was wonderfully prepared, delicious and the live cooking was very entertaining and fun ? Thank you so much for making this experience one that I won't forget ??“
“I've been here dozens of times. I will say, some days I have had AMAZING sushi from here, and other days I've had just okay sushi. Their hibachi is okay, and their miso soup is not the best. I've noticed there is a major quality increase when the owner is present, which is usually on weekends. The inside is very clean and their service is always fast. I honestly order takeout from here all the time hoping I get the amazing version of their sushi for a fair price.“
