“Really nice staff, really nice interior and really good food. Easily one of the better sushi places in the area. Fish is always well prepared and platted beautifully. Never not had fish that was wonderfully fresh and clean tasting either 11/10 would“
“I have been coming to Szechuann for years and years. Just recently came for their happy hour (4-7) for the first time and it did not disappoint. Fantastic sushi selection on the happy hour menu. Every roll was delicious, as always. Friendly and attentive bartender, delicious cocktails, $4 beers. The atmosphere is relaxing. Staff even took a picture for my friend and I. My only recommendation is that they bring back the spicy red sauce on top of the baked Dynamite roll. Thank you all! See you soon.“
“Nice quiet dinner, sushi was great! We get white tuna and yellowtail every time we go out for sushi and this was some of the best. Hibachi was entertaining, though my daughter refused to catch the shrimp. The chef played along with it. We will come back to Kyoto. The staff are kind and attentive.“
“The food is amazing. It was really good, but as for the yaki soba, there was just so much of it. There was a serving for about 4 people. It's a lot of food. The internal decor was an odd choice. It's a mix of japanese thing and boat stuff. It's just feels weird. But honestly, it's a nit pick.Definitely would come back.“
“This place has one heck of an atmosphere! Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off. The restroom was clean. I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review! Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable.“
“This place is definitely a hole in the wall spot! The atmosphere was amazing, we ordered 8 rolls and it came out rather quickly. Our personal favorites were the Terp, Sarah, dynamite and the black eye! The service was also wonderful, our waiter checking up on us, seeing how we were doing and giving us updates, would definitely suggest trying this place out!“
“I craved General Tso's shrimp, so I went back for a second time. This time, I decided to add an order of Shrimp fried rice. While the rice tasted good, I was very disappointed with the amount given for 18 dollars. I will admit that they put big-quality shrimp in the rice, but I should have been given more.“
“Can't comment on the sushi since I didn't order any. Service was okay and prices were reasonable. The only thing I could complain about was the same person that seated us, took our orders and was bartending. The service could have been a little bit better but it wasn't horrible. When I asked if the drinks on their menu were for rail drinks she seemed very confused. I asked her what vodka they carried that was above Smirnoff grade. When I walked over to the bar I found her taking a photo of a bottle of Absolute Vodka. I asked her to show me the vodkas. I wish she would have told me she wasn't an experienced bartender. I wasn't trying to make her job any harder.I will definitely go back.“
“I eat here so much I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Here's what I appreciate about Sushi Q...always consistent. The food is always prepared well. Everything tastes fresh and the service is always good. Their signature sushi rolls are amazingly creative and always good. My favorite of all of them is the Veterans Highway roll with real crabmeat. You have to try it. It doesn't matter if you eat in or get takeout, you will not go wrong here! Next time I'll take a pic of the deliciousness!“
“My "small" lo mein was closer to a med/large. They filled a small, and it was so full they double packed it in another container. Hospitality was top-notch, so warm and inviting to my family. We orderd combo lo mein, cream cheese wonton, and sautéed carrots/brocc. Delicious!“
“By far the best food and service you will get dining at BWI. The rolls are all freshly made and better quality than you will get at most sushi restaurants. The servers are attentive and you can actually get service quickly, unlike most airport restaurants. A variety of high quality sake options, as well as Japanese beers.“
“I come here every now and then, and the service is always fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable. For comparison the tonkatsu is $14.55, a couple miles down the road its $18.95. The sushi for 2 was $37 and came with lots of food. It was delicious!“
“It was significantly busier than usual on a Friday night, but the staff was handling the crowd very well. I only ended up waiting an extra 5-10 minutes for my food and the host staff and kitchen staff were efficiently and graciously working to get all of the customers their food.Food was delicious as always. We got Alaska Roll, Spicy Scallop, Santa Claus rolls and a sashimi platter and all was fresh and delicious. The mocha cheesecake is also a great dessert to end the meal on!“
“I was skeptical that it would live up to the positive reviews but it absolutely did! My husband got noodles, which I typically don’t care for, but they were so delicious! I got sushi, and I will be thinking about that sushi for a long time. I can’t wait to go back.“
“Review Update:We have seen a major improvement in the service and food since my last review and they are back to being the best sushi spot in Annapolis. Highly recommend! We’ve been going here for years and have told all of our neighbors it’s the best sushi in Annapolis. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we ordered we’ve been really disappointed with the quality of the fish. The yellow tail has been chewy and overly fishy, the tuna was such a deep red it looked like it had been dyed and had no flavor, and the scallop was just a mess of mush and again overly fishy. I shared out disappointment with a mgr who said she was going to call me back and never did. Not sure we’ll be back, such a bummer.“
“Outstanding quality, atmosphere and service since I’ve been born. The expansion of the dining hall since I haven’t eaten here in over 10yrs is very impressive including the culture and authenticity just as much in the environment that’s also included in the food makes the experience priceless. The cost is perfect for the area and attraction of affordable nutrients.Melissa my server was great!Parking: Dowtown Annapolis surrounding great views of the shopping outlets available in neighboring distance.“
“Eaten here a few times and really like the food. The prices are reasonable. Although with many other restaurants, prices seem to have gone up and portions have stayed the same. My go to was the steak and scallops and it doesn't disappoint, but the price is a little steep and have to save for special occasion.“
“The teriyaki salmon blew my mind. I have never had a flavor stop me mid first bite and active a new taste buds. I can't explain how fantastic all the food here was. By far the best Sushi I have ever had in my life, let alone the single best piece of Salmon I have ever had. I live an hour away from this place and would 100% drive an hour again to eat here!!!“
“I just have to say this is by far my favorite sushi resturaunt ive ever been to and their food never dissapoints. I have relied on their sushi in times of personal grief, depression, and mania. I love this place so much. I wish I could tip all of the chefs $100 each everytime I order from here I just love them. I can't reccomend this place enough. their chicken teriyaki is bomb, shrimp teriyaki is bomb, their spring rolls are delicious and crispy, their sushi is AMAZING I highly reccomend their rolls that feature their spicy tuna especially! (My favorite is the volcano roll) but most of all surprisingly my favorite item on their menu is their yum yum sauce, it's to die for. I don't know what they put it in it but it's better than any other yum yum sauce I've ever had. I just can't say enough about this place I genuinely love it. Thank you for keeping me fed and happy bento's hibachi I seriously appreciate the work you guys do.“
“This was beyond what I expected from airport food. I got the Chicken Bento Box and it was SO much food, good quality, and presented well. The woman behind the counter was actually polite!! And she seemed like she didn't hate her job, so it made the experience feel that much more satisfying. I would happily walk to this food spot every time I have a lay-over in BWI. Thank you for being here ❤️“
“I love this restaurant! I came here for my birthday dinner, and the service was exceptional, simply amazing! The evening staff on March 6th we're so nice and accommodating, went above and beyond for me to feel special on my birthday ? The food was wonderfully prepared, delicious and the live cooking was very entertaining and fun ? Thank you so much for making this experience one that I won't forget ??“
“Been here multiple times in a short period because they are consistently delicious! Photos were rushed I was so hungry. The honeydew melon smoothie is the best thing Ive drank.. if there is a previous review saying something was the best im sorry ... this is it! I tried kiwi as well and it was so perfectly sweet and sour. The noodles are cooked well the food is great. The dumplings were delicious and we tried the tempura shrimp burrito it was great as well. I love the quiet and cleaniness of the eating area.“
“This is a super intimate neighborhood spot boasting an extensive all you can eat sushi menu!!!! I visited last night with my bestie and we enjoyed the Pink Lady Roll, Godzilla Roll and Shrimp Fried Rice. I had never had a pink lady roll but they always looked so pretty in pictures so it was a must try! I loved it! The tuna and steamed shrimp paired perfectly. The Godzilla roll was crunchy and had just the right amount of saltiness. The fried rice was steaming hot and, with a dash of soy sauce, became the perfect addition to the meal. The restaurant itself is small inside but it adds to the intimate vibes. I would definitely recommend as a date night sushi place or a girls night like we had. The drinks are very reasonable and do not Disappoint! Try them while you finish up your holiday shopping in the area and thank me later!“
“I haven't ordered much from Chopstix since they closed their doors but they opened up again and so this was my first time dining in for years! When I first came in it was quiet and relaxing, the appearance is decent. This is a family restaurant and they were very friendly. We got the miso soup, shrimp toast, bento box, and the rainbow roll. The food came quick and everything was delicious and presented well. Definitely dine in instead of carry out/delivery for the experience and free dried noodles. The service was great, they were friendly, and the food was good. This is definitely my new go to Chinese place!“
“I'm writing this review in the restaurant's parking lot because I didn't want to forget to do it...I LOVE Taichi! It is my favorite place to eat. Every time I come into the store, the people are so nice and kind! The Tonkotsu ramen is superb!!! I tried the new ramen place that opened up in Pasadena (Kanji Noodle Bar), and while it wasn't awful, it was nowhere near as good as Taichi! Truly. They are the best! The woman with black hair that took my order today was so sweet (I forgot to ask her name)! Please, even if you have to drive a bit farther to get here, it is WORTH IT! I've had the ramen, poke bowl, sushi burrito, and bubble tea. All delicious and made with fresh fish and ingredients! She told me that they simmer the Tonkotsu broth for 10 hours, and it really shows when you taste it! I'm moving soon, and I can honestly say that I will miss Taichi so, so much! ? I'll have to buy a plushie before I go!“
