“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

“I love the mamas on the half shell in Owings Mills. The food is great and I am a frequent diner. I love Mary, Alaina, and Gavin the best. They are so courteous and customer service orientated. The crab soup there and the cream of crab is to die for. Also love their coddies! The restaurant is beautiful and I also love sitting outside as well. Always seems very clean. “My husband and I made a wrong turn a few weeks back and happened to see this place called blendabowl. The following wk we decided to try them out and we are completely addicted!! The quality in the taste and freshness of the bowl we get exceeded our expectations. We get blue crush with shaved almonds granola blueberries bananas and Nutella def a must try😋 The place is always clean and the staff is excellent as well as management!! Enrique definitely runs a great establishment and if you have never tried blendabowl you are missing out. “Been meaning to shout this place out for a while. But Otoman HALAL SPOT has got to be the best halal food in the county, and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. I eat there multiple times a week. For the vegans/vegetarians, their falafel is the best I’ve had. Their portions are incredible, and they even have non-halal food for those who like sandwiches / burritos / desert.”

“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!”

The Hostess, "Crystal" went above and beyond and truly brings the vibe, knows her role, her ability to engage customers, her energy.. The food was and the presentation of the Flight Sampler was cool little birds.. We had Coco Bread(Better than Texas Roadhouse) , Salmond with Rice n peas and coconut cream sauce AND Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta. Topped off Crystal made me a personalized Mother's Day dessert of warm pound cake with vanilla ice cream and drizzle on top.. “Went to dinner with friends here and had a phenomenal meal. Banger after banger with fresh seasonal ingredients and well crafted plates. Mussels were rich and meaty and the pastas were excellent. Nice wine menu and enjoyed the offerings particularly a complex rose. Ben, our server, was incredible and took really good care of us. Will definitely be back.”

“We come to eat at the Rosedale location maybe once a month. Even on long waits when we are extra hungry, we always request Draven because he is a rockstar! Our drinks are never empty and requests such as extra napkins, gloves, bibs etc are always met expeditiously. We never have to wait long for food and it is always fresh and hot. Our family are creatures of habit and we typically get the same thing every time. Let’s start with the clam chowder. A generous bowl with a heaping portion of clam. We especially enjoy the crackers on the side for our picky toddler to nibble on. For dinner I always get the Cajun boil with the hook n reel blend *spicy* with sausage and hard boiled eggs as an add on. I like to get a 20 oz. draft ipa. It pairs very well with the spiciness of the boil. Our toddler usually ends up with tenders and sweet potato waffle fries. Recently she has started to eat broccoli (hallelujah!) so we get that on the side as well. For a family of 3, we spend around $130. If you request Draven, please expect to be amazed by the service and expect to tip at LEAST 20% for impeccable service. For those bad at math, 20% of $130 is $26, which I like to bump up to $30. Sorry this was so long! If you got this far, enjoy your dinner at Hook n Reel in Rosedale. We always do!”
