“Truly incredible food. Unique flavors and super friendly and helpful staff. We got the neighborhood bird bowl and the same thing on a bun and I texted three different people about it while eating. It was that good. Absolutely a must visit if you're in the area. The art on the walls, cool music, and alley entrance only add to the already incredible experience. Looking for lunch? “This spot's noodles were highly touted and rightfully so. These are among the best noodles I've had in my life.I've been three times and the noodles are consistently the highlight. On one occasion my proteins were dry which is why it's "only" four stars but it's looking like that was an isolated incident.The service was exceptional. The lady at the counter and her little girl were adorable together as they took my order. I don't know if it's a ploy to get a bigger tip out of me but it worked.I'd highly recommend visiting Kokoyami when you're in the Windsor Mill/ Catonsville area.“
“We went to do the poke, and wound up with soup, noodles and curry. Really good! The wonton soup had a really good dark, spicy broth (not vegetarian!). My wife's combination lo mein was really good, and the Thai curry with tofu was some of the best I've had.The owners were really fun to talk with, a couple of extroverts doing something they seem to really enjoy. Service was fast, fresh and very friendly! We dined in, "picnic style," as John described it! ? “I just had time to grab a bite before my flight. I found this Chinese place next to Concourse B, and it is pretty good. They have several combos at decent prices. But the best part was the friendly, smiling service by the employees on the line. In the hustle and bustle of the airport, this place stands out.“

“By far the best food and service you will get dining at BWI. The rolls are all freshly made and better quality than you will get at most sushi restaurants. The servers are attentive and you can actually get service quickly, unlike most airport restaurants. A variety of high quality sake options, as well as Japanese beers.“
“Don't come at me for liking this place. Yes it's expensive. Yes the view of the lake is nice and calming. Yes the servers aren't Japanese even if it's a Japanese restaurant. Yes it's right near Whole Foods which is probably part of why it's expensive. In comparison to the other sushi restaurants in the area, I think this place has enough ambiance things going on to justify the price. Also where else am I going to get eel avocado with that much green on it and thickly sliced eel? Salmon sashimi (ate it too quick) was thick, melt in the mouth, and delicious. Tempura udon was pretty good too. Went here for lunch and will probably be back!“

“If you live in the local area, this place is a no-frills sushi place with pretty quick service and pretty presentation. My partner and I like to go here mid-week for dinner when we don't feel like cooking. All of the seats are wooden booth seating, which I really like. The waiters are professional and attentive, but don't circle back too often. The sushi we order doesn't have too much rice packed on like other places. On our most recent trip, I got the unagi don and he got the pork katsu curry. We will be back!“

“The Pork Belly Buns are to die for. The service at all of the businesses is always great. It's typically pretty loud. This is not the place if you want quiet ambiance and intimate conversation. But if it's fast service, nice folks, and great food, you're in luck.“
“They have a lot of food options for those with dietary restrictions. The service is good but I want to give a big thumbs up to Ms. Matilde! We came 20 mins to closing and they were close to running out of a few items. (They could have easily given us what was available but she and the other employees told us to wait while they made fresh veggies and protein for us.) She even offered us drinks while we waited which was nice! Asked if I had any rewards because I always forget to use them. Overall a great experience!“

“Paper Lantern (Marriottsville Rd) is our go-to take out sushi. It never disappoints and it’s not overly priced. We love their spicy tuna and shrimp tempura rolls!They even make a chicken tempura roll that my son loves- gotta get them to eat sushi one way or another, right?“
“I had heard there was Korean food near base, but never been. Decided to try it for lunch today. Glad I did! It's a small place, but clean with space to dine-in. The man taking my order was nice and the food didn't take long to make. I got it to-go. The spicy pork bulgogi was delicious! They give you a lot of food too. I'm absolutely stuffed. I will definitely be going back again.“

“Ikkyu is inside Lotte's food court and is my favorite choice out of the 4 restaurants inside! Tonkatsu 10/10- crispy, lots of sauce- comes with rice, pasta salad with cucumbers, a side salad, pickled yellow radish, and a small bowl of miso soup - they used to also give kimchi but I guess they updated the menu Once you order, they'll call your order name/number on the intercom once it's finished. Service is relatively quick!“
“This was beyond what I expected from airport food. I got the Chicken Bento Box and it was SO much food, good quality, and presented well. The woman behind the counter was actually polite!! And she seemed like she didn't hate her job, so it made the experience feel that much more satisfying. I would happily walk to this food spot every time I have a lay-over in BWI. “Our son goes to UMBC & took him out to lunch last Saturday & we picked this Bonchon location. Was afraid the chicken would be meh but it was actually very good. We got an order or 8 mixed - half soy & half spicy. Got another 8 of spicy & some bulgogi fried rice. The wings were fried perfectly. I thought the spicy would be mild given this is a chain restaurant catering to 'Muricans but it was very spicy. Great flavor, but the spiciness builds. We really enjoyed both. Will try the other sauces next time. The fried rice was superb. Definitely recommend this place & we'll eat here again in the future when we take our son out for lunch.“
“This restaurant is a little gem tucked away but worth discovering. The food here is top rate. The lunch portions are perfectly sized, not too large but just enough. The servers are very attentive. There is a calm quietness about this place that makes eating a relaxing experience. The last time I was there with a couple of girlfriends was to celebrate a birthday, and our server encouraged us to stay as long as we wanted to. Even after we had paid her she continued to bring water over to us and to ask if we needed anything else. I highly recommend“

“I’ve been eating at this restaurant for about a year I normally just order via DoorDash or GrubHub but I’ve been in twice to pick up a order I will say the neighborhood leaves a little bit to be desired. I’ve never had any issues nor have I ever gotten sick from here. When I placed my phone order the lady who took my order was very pleasant and she was nice when I came in. From what I could see the place was clean, they had a mask as well as gloves which made me feel very comfortable. I will continue to order and eat from here this is my go to!“

“This was my first visit to this establishment. We had lunch here the lunch special is $9.25 which is very good for the amount of food they give you. I tried Orange chicken with jasmine rice nice flavor. The dipping sauce for the egg roll was tasty as well. The wait staff were pleasant. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing . I will visit again.“

However maybe this would be helpful for people who are not as interested in the double fried chicken as their dining mate is. My friend ordered the boneless chicken wings and was elated at the decadent, umami flavors, and what’s not to like with all that salt and fat? I ordered the crispy tofu bibimbob, the somewhat more healthful choice. The tofu was appropriately crispy, but not overly so, and happily not too salty. If anything, it maybe leaned towards the bland side. Plenty of rice, vegetables and sauce on the side, served in a warm stone bowl. it was a pretty cool sensory experience, but an underwhelming taste experience. I suppose that’s what you get for going to Bon Chon and ordering something other than double fried chicken. ? the service was very attentive and friendly.“
“I like eating here and any of the other branches of Sushi Q because you always know what you're gonna get if you dine in: miso soup, sushi, and a small cheesecake dessert in a consistently clean/ minimalist space. It's not the fanciest sushi in the area, but sometimes I just want to eat a whole bunch of eel avocado roll and that's what I can get here fresh and affordable. I like to dabble here and there with some of their specialty rolls, but they do my favorite kind so well. Service is scientifically efficient and food can take a little while to prepare, but I'm not usually in a big rush. There's always a line out the door for online/mobile orders. When dining in, there's hardly ever a wait even though it can get crazy busy during dinner. They also have good lunch specials here. We will be back for more.“
