“Not a place to hang out. Go in and take home or use the picnic tables outside. Great food. We've had their soups, wings, pizza, chicken tenders...all great. Highly recommend if you don't have dinner plans. You can also grab drinks conveniently next door.“

The classic short ribs were however perfection.Ambiance is wonderful, with a very cozy atmosphere. Reservations recommended!! A bit pricey, but when they get it right it is certainly worth it.“

“This is a great place to stop in for a lunch or dinner (not sure if they serve breakfast, but if they do I'm sure it is great). We found it by mistake coming back from Baltimore. We were looking for the Fill 'er Up restaurant that was on the highway sign but found this much better place! Highly recommend it!Staff was great and very friendly! Food was good too!“

“I've only been to this restaurant 2 times, but both times did not disappoint. The food is perfectly cooked, I got the pork chops which were super good but they are famous for their fried chicken. The waitresses are always very kind and efficient as the place is always packed. And the view is really nice and peaceful.Vegetarian options: It seems that there was one veggie option, which was an eggplant parm. Nothing against the restaurant just wouldn't recommend for veggie options.Parking: There is a parking lot and a secondary overflow lot.“

“Took a drive to Shrewsbury over the weekend to check out J&B's. Very good, homestyle diner food like I grew up with in NJ but just can't find in MD. Open Face Turkey Sandwich reminded me of my mom's and my wife loved the Reuben. Keeping my eyes peeled to see when meatloaf is on the menu because I bet it's dynamite.“

“rode our motorcycle down from York PA last night for a nice small meal. Wife had the BBQ flat bread Pizza and I have a Quesadilla and a beer each. Service was spot on as we sat at the high top tables. Server (she) was amazing and we left a 40% tip. Grew up in Freeland just down the road and always stop here when we can.“

“Everything is great except for the chicken tenders. Thought I would try something different for a change and here I am making food for myself at home still. If you like glued together pieces of rubbery chicken "meat" for tenders that kids normally eat, then these are for you! Super disappointing considering they serve fresh fried chicken and wings, but their chicken tenders aren't even real chicken. I fed them to my dogs, because that's all they were good for. They seemed to enjoy them but that doesn't mean much considering they eat just about anything“

“Mom and Pop diner. Diner for the locals. Good prices. The ribeye breakfast was delicious. The waitress that has waited on us the past couple times, she was on it. Asked what we wanted to drink almost immediately. The wait for the food that was ordered was also timely. I order medium over hard eggs, and the cook has always made it perfectly.“

“Hit or Miss crabs for quality. Always enough seasoning! Staff can either be very friendly or extremely rushed and Nearing rude. Building could definitely be updated or at least deep cleaned with a fresh paint job. As you would expect in a seafood restaurant, always smells a little fishy and dank.“

“We moved into our home going on 3 years ago and as we tried different options to find a favorite pizza place, Bubba D's Shrewsbury location was the obvious winner. We've been ordering exclusively from them ever since! We have not eaten in but we have done both take out and delivery. Both these options we have had exclusively awesome experiences with. Now this place does get busy especially on the weekend evenings but even with that factor, I don't think we've ever ordered and not had our food within 45 minutes. Plus we're 10 minutes away. The fact that the food is always blistering, burn your mouth hot like it just came out of the oven is crazy to us but the quality is evident and the food is just great! Take out is just as easy, the staff is always friendly and pickup time is always so quick! Definitely try this place!“

“Very enjoyable small town restaurant, and very much a no-frills locals spot. Get an omlette with sausage, ham, and onions! You can also get your potatoes done cubed or as home fries. I'm glad this restaurant is part of my surrounding community.“

As a beer snob, they have a very good selection of local craft brews. Food was very good. I had the slider trio. There was a small hiccup with my order which was corrected immediately. Meats: the ham and beef were delicious, and juicy. The pork was a little dry. All were nicely seasoned and smoked. The rib ends were also very good, and well seasoned. The sliders came with a ton of fresh cut fries which were just ok. Plenty of food, fair prices. Parking is behind the building.“
