“Just moved to the neighborhood so me and hubby decided to try it. He loved the lasagna and it’s a generous serving! The potato skins are AMAZING and the crab dip is equally as good! I wish the crab dip had a little less cheese on the top but the flavors are awesome! Definitely worth it, and can’t wait to go back!“
“During Lent Season, we frequent Big Mike's Crabhouse on a Friday, typically late afternoon. We try to beat the crowd, as this restaurant is not that big, but the seafood is absolutely delicious! Service is always excellent!!!! Big Mike's is a very relaxed atmosphere! They are a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite adult beverages if you choose to do so!!! If you choose to have an entree, but do not wish to have the sides, they will adjust the price! I love their cod fish (2 pieces), but don't always want the French fries, etc., they will serve you just the fish and adjust your bill accordingly. The pound of shrimp is always cooked to perfection, we have our shrimp served with melted butter and cocktail sauce, so delicious!!! If you're in Hanover and love seafood, stop by!!!!“
“Town staple. A go to for me, the family, and the family’s family. Even the tuna salad is good. I would recommend eating the cheese steak there, gets a bit sloppy during transit. Try the classic pizza or the home style tacos. Always friendly service .. always busy. But there is a good amount of tables so the wait is never too long.“
“We stopped in for our lunch and the food was great! We had the liver and onions, that the liver was so easy to cut with a knife. We also got the broastwd chicken and it was so moist! And we took dessert home to eat. The waitress was amazing. She was friendly and very cheerful and made our visit wonderful. We will come back again!“
“First time here and we will definitely be back!! This place was suggested by a lovely lady at the Yesteryear Antique Center. We are from Maryland and know where THE Best crabcakes are from so we had to try Dutch Country's Crab Cake since the menu says --You have never had any like theirs! And YES, my hubby and I agree--They were fantastic!! The menu is very big, even the pickiest eater will find something they want!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on 1 side of the doors.“
“This is your standard American diner situation. The food is clean and edible, but the menu is kind of repetitive.I always kind of categorize restaurants by "can make at home" and "don't want to make at home" so the stuff that shines at baughers are either their dinner specials or desserts which often feature their locally grown fruits. If you don't want to make your own burger at home you'd be safe to get one here, just make sure you also get pie to make it worth the trip!“
“This location is great. The wait times aren't bad for the most part. The food is great, the wait staff is friendly, the hosts are quick to get you seated, and the prices aren't too bad. This is definitely a go to for us on date night.Parking: The lot for this location is big enough to accommodate. I've never had an issue finding a spot.“
“I went to Friendly farms for my brothers 75th birthday. It's been twenty years since I was there and it's surprising that it hasn't changed. The food was very good, the only thing was the cost was too pricey ! There was 3 people in our party and it was. $140 !!! That's not counting the tip !! The server was very nice, her name was April and she did check on us a couple of times and very pleasant !!All of the sides were just the way I remembered....but I couldn't pay that price unless it was a special occasion. They used to have a small shop which has been closed since the pandemic. They did sell bakery goods but I think charging $18 for a pie was too high!!We were glad we tried it after all these years !!“
“Can I rave about this place? From very limited experience -- absolutely. I almost never write reviews -- shame on me. But I feel compelled to write this one. Before tonight I had stopped into the Lost Lion just twice. The first time was when it first opened back at the height of the pandemic. The second, for a quick take out. Then, I was intrigued but not thrilled -- now I'm thrilled. Tonight I ordered a simple Manhattan while I waited for my take out order. What I got was a sublime craft cocktail -- worthy of a much bigger venue than Westminster, Maryland. Kudos to the bartender. Having been the victim of many a disappointing restaurant/bar Manhattan, this one was perfect. My only regret with the Manhattan was not seeing the list of delectable holiday cocktails first. The Texas Tacos were delicious. I will be back, and this time I won't wait so long in between visits. David“
“My husband I went here today in hopes to have a nice lunchtime meal. They tried sitting us at a super tiny high top table that was smashed up against an older couple at a low top table and we asked for another table in which they accommodated (my husband is 6'2 and 250lbs).Had a wonderful waitress who was attentive and refreshing.Ordered the tuna as an appetizer and it was delish. Kind of hard to mess that kind of dish up! My husband ordered the French onion soup which he said was really salty but he ate it with the bread. They had a cayenne honey butter available for the bread but I didnt particularly enjoy it. All i tasted was the cayenne after taste and really no honey or butter. I ordered the portabella mushroom entree which was really really good. He had the meatloaf which was good but he said wasn't worth the $24 price.Apologies for not taking pics of the entrees.“
“Lucky Spot Restaurant is a hidden gem for breakfast lovers. While they only serve breakfast on Sundays, one can also get lunch throughout the week! Their food is definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is well-known for its affordable prices and delicious dishes, and I highly recommend trying their gyro omelette. The gyro omelette is a unique and flavorful dish that combines the classic breakfast omelette with the savory taste of gyro meat. The omelette itself is fluffy and cooked to perfection, with generous portions of gyro meat, feta cheese, and tomatoes folded inside. It's served with a side of potatoes and a slice of toast, making for a filling and satisfying breakfast.Aside from the gyro omelette, Lucky Spot also offers a variety of other breakfast items such as pancakes, waffles, and eggs Benedict. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for families or groups of friends. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who are always willing to make recommendations and ensure that you have a great experience. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.if you're looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast spot, Lucky Spot is definitely worth checking out. While they only serve breakfast on Sundays, their gyro omelette and other dishes are sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you feeling full and happy.Parking is on the street or across in the parking lots. This place is located next to a yoga studio and a cafe, along with a comedy club.“
“Food is great and the fruit market is really wonderful. They bring the fruit during the season right from their orchard to the market for sale. They make their own pies and jams and are open all year. The restaurant has good home cooked food many local people eat here and the food portions are a great value. I have never had a bad meal here. We get fruits and vegetables from here all of the time. I'm the fall if you go out to the farm they have pick your own fruit and pumpkins. It's a great way to entertain the little ones.“
“We had a small group meeting in the back. They provided drinks & appetizers for us.Outstanding service from 3:30-5:30pmAs we were leaving, the restaurant was full and a line of people waiting to get in which says this place if a favorite to the locals.“
“There're several Texas Hot Dog places in Hanover. Don't waste your time with them, head right here. My Dad came here as a child and I'm a 50 year customer. I never go to Hanover without getting a Hot Dog and fries. Best Texas Hot Weiner at a reasonable price. Also very clean an family owned.“
“This restaurant is great. The chicken tacos were excellent, and the portion sizes were well worth the price point of 10.95 for 3 tacos. It has a small town atmosphere with a huge selection of beers from all over country. Dine in or carry out, and the food was ready quickly without calling ahead and had a home cooked quality to the dish.Parking: Around 8-10 spots located next to 7-11 in common driveway.Wheelchair accessibility: On grade entry.“
“The owner is an absolute angel! A morning appointment detained me from getting breakfast this morning before the cut off time. She was so kind and prepared a healthy meal for me. I have eaten lunch multiple times at this restaurant; but, never breakfast until today. I will most definitely be back! Thank you for your kindness!“
“I went here with a family member and it was amazing! The chicken was a little overcooked but other than that the fries are soft and delicious but still have a little crisp texture to them and the service was great too. This place has some of the best milkshakes in town!Kid-friendliness: Allows you to bring your kids, including I’ve seen groups of kids walk in and just order something to eat and the staff are really friendly to them.“
“Texas Roadhouse is known for providing excellent service that enhances the overall dining experience. Our server, Abby, arrived promptly to take our drink orders and answered any questions we had about the menu. She checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed, like extra napkins or drink refills. The food came hot and at a reasonable time with everything correctly modified. During our meal, we even had a manager stop by our table to check in and make sure everything was good. When it was time for the check, we didn't have to wait because of the electronic payment tablet at the table. From start to finish, the service at Texas Roadhouse made me and my party feel valued. The friendly, attentive staff truly cares that you have an enjoyable experience at a reasonable price. Their excellent service keeps customers coming back again and again.“
“Everything is great except for the chicken tenders. Thought I would try something different for a change and here I am making food for myself at home still. If you like glued together pieces of rubbery chicken "meat" for tenders that kids normally eat, then these are for you! Super disappointing considering they serve fresh fried chicken and wings, but their chicken tenders aren't even real chicken. I fed them to my dogs, because that's all they were good for. They seemed to enjoy them but that doesn't mean much considering they eat just about anything“
“Stop by & see waitress, Jenna. She was fantastic! Offered great drink suggestions & made our dining experience a pleasant one. Thanks to the manager for stopping by our table to check on us.Vegetarian options: Clearly described vegetable optionsKid-friendliness: Family friendly environment“
“The two missing stars car because number one I thought the place was kind of noisy and B I always ask the waiter well how are you doing and he proceeded to tell us this long story about a car wreck he was in the day before.Overall it was a good experience, good food, decent price.Parking: There is a good amount of parking, what is kind of tight. But what are you going to do? Move the buildings on either side?“
“As a new customer of Maggie's, I am happy to say I'll be back soon. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Some of my favorite dishes are the meatloaf, Brussels sprouts, salmon and stuffed flounder. The others in my party in addition to my favorites also enjoyed the crab cake and macaroni and cheese. This is a great place to enjoy tasty food and tasty drinks with the option to seat in the restaurant, bar area or patio.“
“We went to O’Lardens today for the first time and absolutely will be back. They were packed since there was a local race and bar crawl occurring but we were able to be seated. We had to sit outside in an enclosed are which wasn’t the best since it wS cold and raining but we were happy to still be able to try the restaurant. We started with the crab dip and potato leek soup and they were great! The bangers and mash were amazing though. We shared everything and even left with leftovers. The staff was so kind and we can’t wait to try the fish and chips next time. We saw someone with it and it looked great. We also saw someone eating the bread pudding and it looked fabulous. Can’t wait to come again!“
“Our waitress Terry is on the ball! Makes sure our coffee cups are full, our food is served in a timely manner, and of course she is always smiling and friendlyParking: During snow I think the parking spaces could have been cleared a bit better especially up to the sidewalk“
“We went to their New Years Eve event. Not their fault but a truck smashed through their dinning dance area a few days before. They did a good job making best of the room. $50 per person.Needed a few more veggie / non beef appetizers options? Crab cake, fish, salmon, real shrimp, ham?DJ was great but way to loud!!!! Couldn't have a conversation! It's not 1978 disco. I had fun except for those negatives. Make older people happy we have the money!“
“Rafaels is a gem of Westminster. Their food is wonderful and despite being a somewhat fancy place it's also one of my favorite places in town to get a good burger. Seriously don't sleep on the burgers here. They're excellent. The staff is so nice every time I go in. I can't say enough about the service and professionalism of the people here. The building itself is very cool with an old brick wall paired with a modern aesthetic that works really well together. On a Friday and Saturday night it gets crowded so make those reservations! Overall you will not regret going here. It's a great place to take a date or head out with friends.Parking: There are several parking lots available in the vicinity of the restaurant. Most of them are metered until 5pm so bring those quarters if you're coming in before 5pm. Westminster is not modern. We do not have credit card meters. It's quarters or nothing ?Kid-friendliness: While people can and do bring their young children to Rafaels I would not recommend it on busy evenings. There is just a lot going on and it's very crowded and a toddler who decides to run around might get tripped over. During the day when it's less crowded might be more okay. YMMV“
“The Reuben is my favorite! Everything is great, with one exception.....the Cream of Crab soup is too thick and pastey....and not much crab meat and didn't taste like crab at all........That was 8 years ago and Louie has transformed this in to a seafood “
“I had the lunch buffet. The food was hit and plentiful. The salad bar had a great variety of ingredients for salad and other dishes like pasta salad, potato salad, coleslaw, beets, hard-boiled eggs, etc. The servers and cashiers were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and seemed to be renovated since I had been there about 5 years ago Overall it was a pleasant lunch at a reasonable price. There were several other lunch specials the day I visited.“
“I went there yesterday with my family and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic. Our appetizers came out quick and hot. I had the crab melt and it was super yummy. This place has the BEST fries. On the melt, there’s lots of crab meat for a good price. That’s hard to find these days. My server Matt G was awesome. He was patient, friendly, and really attentive. Great place!“
“Very quaint with a home town feel. Entrance is on the side. The waitress disappeared so it took a while to get our check. We were busy talking so it wasn't a big deal. I wanted a refill on coffee but the waitress didn't check on us. Food and atmosphere was perfect.“
