I normally never write reviews like this but this food was just horrible. The food was actually horrible. We expected it be good and drove almost 30 minutes for this food. We were doing a to-go order. They were showing attitude and didn’t have any patience at all. They were making us rush while ordering, which is not a way to deal with people who are purchasing your restaurants food. The green chutney was horrible it tasted expired. All the food had so much red color for food dyes. The Gobi 65 had no flavor at all and didn’t taste like anything. The chicken lollipop was so sweet it didn’t taste good at all. The mirchi bajji was decent. The noodles had raw cabbage not even cooked. The fried rice was decent among everything we had. All the food that we tried were not good it ruined our dinner. Another thing was the price was crazy it was over $100 for like 4 items, I was actually surprised cause many higher stars restaurants don’t even charge this much for food. They were also asking for gratuity which is crazy. One of the things we noticed while waiting for our food it they just put all the desserts in the fridge to put it back on the shelves to sell again, this just makes it taste stale and rotten. There was also some bread on one of the other shelves I felt it thinking of buying it, but it was as hard as a rock, it was sweet bun bread which is supposed to be soft. They took so long to bring the food out and it was still not good. I was very disappointed. I was also surprised they got certificates for recognitions. I’m surprised they have this many good reviews. The food is truly horrible. I would not recommend getting anything here. The food also had a weird smell which wasnt appetizing at all. I would literally rather eat at a 1 star restaurant than eat at this disgusting restaurant ever again. I will not be coming back to this establish ever again. It was a really bad experience.

Very bad quality of food served. The Chutney also had rotten yogurt, I’m talking about Friday nite food not even on a weekday. Most of the dishes didn’t had salt at all. Very bad experience!

I love this place. I come here often. It’s very authentic, flavorful food. I enjoy the dosa and chaat as well as the curries. I tried the tacos once and they were fantastic. Highly recommend!

This WAS our go to place for dosa and chaat… on our last visit there the dosa was not even warm and seemed that it was left out or reheated. The chaat was half decent but we’ve had better before. The server needs to do a better job. Not going to go out of our way to have a meal there any more.

Initially wrote a negative review about the service after coming there for many years, but glad to give them another try. We love their food!

Very low quality food for a high price, had pav bhaaji which seemed like it was mixture of mashed potatoes and canned tomato paste, had to wait for a long time to get seated and then no one bothered to come take order. Everything about this place is subpar the food, ambience and service which make the prices on the menu laughable.

Ordered by phone ? Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa and Aloo Papdi Chaat. Unfortunately when I opened up the Aloo Papdi Chaat box in my home, didn’t find any yogurt, Potatoes, chickpeas.I had to mix yogurt from my own fridge.Several times I had Aloo Papdi Chaat from this place but never had such worst taste ever, without yogurt, Potatoes, chickpeas.

A decent, usual Indian restaurant- both south and North Indian type dishes available. The tea was excellent- typical Indian masalaTea with milk, with a hint of saffron and cardamom. The hot tea in chilly weather was just perfect. We got a masala dosa which was served with sambar and two types of chutneys. The white chutney (it was not made with coconut, I believe) was very subtle on palette and comforting. It reminded me my childhood soda experience back in India ( Kolkata). The Dosa, tomato chutney and the sambar were decent too. I ordered some chicken Hakka noodles and chilli chicken. The noodles were too good with a Smokey aroma coming from the seasoned wok. The chilli chicken was not actually chilli chicken ( usually chilli chicken should be blackish from dark soy sauce) , however the crispy spicy red coloured chicken was good though. Overall, a pretty decent place. The place was quite packed and the service was decent too.

Worst food ever had in Maryland. Ordered chicken and onion pakora.Chicken - tasted as if it was cooked the previous day and heated. Was already broken to piecesOnion pakora - same as chicken but the flour on pakora was not even half cooked.

Dosa and pani puri were delicious- including the coconut chutney and sambar, but they’re so EXPENSIVE!8 TINY pani puris for $12?! Really?! That was very disappointing. That should be half the price given that it’s barely any substantial food and the portion is too small. They shouldn’t even be $1 per puri. And plain dosa for $12 is too expensive- spicelife nearby charges $9 for slightly bigger size and equally tasty plain dosa.Service by our server was excellent! I will most likely head to spicelife next time given the cheaper prices, bigger portions, and equally tasty food. Please make the portion size match the prices!
