Do not shop here . Meat & seafood departments horrible. Managers are rude and inconsiderate . Definitely will be going out of business soon. Protect your pockets from this predatory location.

This is the black hole of customer service! So many times I've shopped here and rarely, if ever, am I greeted as I approach the cashier. TODAY was about the worse (and sadly, it's all to common around the customer service industries). No greeting, no smile, no thank you afterwards...just a grunt!! I work in the customer service travel industry and, no matter what kind of day I'm having, my customers receive a warm welcome and a smile - then a Thank you afterwards. I receive far better treatment at Harris-Teeter down the road, I feel appreciated. And that is where I suggest we all shop from now on.

If I could put 0 stars, I would have. Their bakery is a joke. I ordered 50 cupcakes for my son's birthday. I offered to pay in advance to make sure they are ready when I need them. The guy assured me that they will be. The day I was supposed to pick them up, I called to see if the order was ready, the same guy answered and he said, it wasn't and it won't be. When I asked why he said he didn't know. After wasting my time to get a manager, it turned out that the baker or decorator wasn't there and they didn't check the schedule before accepting my order and they also forgot to inform me. Result, no cupcakes for my child's birthday party as I promised him!

I love this Safeway! I usually would go to the Kentlands Giant but consistently get shorter lines and just as friendly service here! I'm fact, I forgot my work phone in the cart yesterday and a loyal customer returned it and employee Jennifer pet it safe for me. She was so sweet, they saved the day! I will definitely be making this my go to shopping center and I have honestly never had a bad experience!

I came here at about 3:00 PM on Saturday 1/22/21 and the lady working customer service was so efficient and friendly that I felt compelled to come here and say something. I feel ashamed that I never got her name but she was wearing a hat with a Maryland flag design and I hope she gets paid enough! Amazing. Nathan rocked too, he checked us out for a gift card and was also super friendly and efficient. Overall a super pleasant grocery store experience and I honestly never thought I'd find myself writing that in a yelp review lol

I have been avoiding this store for the last year or so however with limited items on the shelf at other stores. I came here and surprised to see it fully stocked, shelf's and especially the produce department! An employee named Sam had helped me pick out my produce. He has made a huge improvement to this department, in such a short amount of time.

I have recently heard that canned a problem management member so I might give this store a chance again . They really need to retrofit this Store nothing been done since it opened in 1992

The folks in the Produce Department and Deli Department are always super friendly and helpful. And you cannot beat the free cookies from the Bakery for the kids.

The parking lot is crazy - small spaces and the rows are very narrow. Hard to dodge the soccer moms in their oversized SUVs.
Apparently a grocery store.. Who knew neva heard of it. Nips slightly hardened its so cold in hur
The parking lot sucks. Aisles are too narrow. Backing out I feel like I'm going to hit the car behind me.
