Great experience, our waiter was wonderful and the food was excellent. Perfectly done NY Strip. The Brussel Sprout appetizer was superb. My only suggestion for them is turn the heat up and dim the lights.

Food prep very good; service prompt and efficient; "ambience" excellent in "new" dining room overlooking river. Only negative was initial attempt to shunt us 4 or 5 (empty) rooms away to table in barroom of "tavern," but upon "Oh no we won't," manager gave us excellent table by the window in new DR.

We thought we would be eating in the dining room but instead we're shuttled to the tavern. It was pretty chilly there, but warmer in the bar area. The service was excellent and the food was good. One suggestion: for the breakfast burrito it is suggested when you have a lot of potatoes in the burrito, I don't think you want more potatoes as a side. A dish of fresh fruit would be great. The coffee/tea cups were a great size.

So went with a nother couple on new years day for lunch. A limited menu. We were told in advance. We had a 1/2 dozen oysters 4 sandwiches and 2 mixed drinks. It was $186.00 The food was adequate at best. Not excellent by any means. I do feel that the price fit the meal. Recently reminded beautiful view.

This review is for the catering side of Deep Blue. We hired them for our wedding at our home and they completely delivered. From the beautiful charcuterie, to the passed hors d'oeuvres, to the excellent entrees all of the food was top notch. Their late night mashed potato bar was a huge hit as well.Special shout out to their event coordinator, Tiffany, who was outstanding. We did a first meeting and tasting at the restaurant, and she later came to our home for a planning meeting. She was solutions driven, when a problem came up, such as not having enough ice, she worked with our day of to find us solutions and make sure our day went off without a hitch. I would recommend Deep Blue catering to anyone.

overall good experience. Service was very good. We always think the lighting is too bright and have previously told the manager. Lobster pot pie was very dry; no sauce but contents were good. THe wait staff kept moving furniture around us from the "stage" where we were seated to the main floor. Could this be planned ahead of time. LIterally, several tables and chairs were removed from around us as we ate; very distracting.

We decided to do a birthday brunch for a dear friend and we were not disappointed! Excellent service, wonderful staff! The food was perfect for Sunday brunch! The Bloody Mary bar was such a nice touch! Our server went above and beyond, and even took a group pic! Such a beautiful place!

We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed sitting at the bar in the historic tavern. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with a fire flickering nearby and Christmas tunes playing. Heather was friendly and helpful, the seasonal cocktails were tasty, and the crabcake sandwich was delicious. We look forward to returning.

Thanksgiving Dinner 2023: When we sat down, the waitress did not inform us that soft drinks were included in the prix fixe buffet. She also didn't ask us if we wanted coffee or tea with dessert, which I found out later was also included. I drank tap water. I didn't ask, because in the past, we were charged for a refill cup of coffee during two previous lunches over the summer (two cups of coffee was over $12.00). At that time, I called the restaurant after the erroneous refill coffee charge. I was told they don't charge for a second cup of coffee. I got a refund. We went back two weeks later for lunch, ordered coffee with dessert, asked for a refill, and was charged AGAIN. Pros: Great view sitting on the deck/patio in the summer (see photo). Cozy inside during cold weather. Live music on the deck during the summer. I won't go back, since each time, there was an issue. I dined there a total of 7 times over the summer of 2023 and Thanksgiving dinner. I don't spend an average of 65 bucks for 2 people at lunch plus a 20% tip to deal with issues. Thanksgiving, which was over $100 + 20% tip was the last time.

It's a bit confusing that all dining (I think?) moves to the tavern in the winter? We were more than confused by the explanations we got on that. Food was excellent and the service was great, but the room was a bit cold and there was a draft right on me. Also, there was some electrical problem with the lighting. It would be good to get that fixed pronto. All in all a nice experience.

We had a great lunch today at Kitty Knight House's Deep Blue Restaurant. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the grilled salmon sandwich was excellent and so tasty, and loved the fried cauliflower starter; all of the food was very good, and the service was excellent--especially thanks to Veronica, who made our visit very pleasant. She was very attentive and helpful, and helped a lot in making it an enjoyable visit. Will be coming again soon!

I had been to Deep Blue a few times previously and so knew the view and food was good. I was AMAZED at the Thanksgiving buffet. A huge table laden with oysters and shrimp to start off. The main buffet had a fresh local turkey that tasted fabulous! I don't like ham but they had that too and the lasagna was good. The crabcakes were small and mostly filler but that was the only negative. The absolutely HUGE positive was the dessert choices!!! I could not believe they had Smith Island Cake on the menu! WOW. And not just the original flavor, they also had the seasonal carrot cake version. FABULOUS!! I must also say every person working was so happy and polite and our waitress was A+++. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a delightful dining experience by the water with great ambience and food!!!

Had an exceptional Thanksgiving experience at Deep Blue. Great views were paired with good food and wonderful people. It was well worth the two hour and change drive. I look forward to booking future outings here and plan to be back for the next Thanksgiving meal.
