Enjoyed a wonderful date night for my husband's birthday. The food was good, but I was definitely disappointed in the Prime Rib Special. The cut was smaller than expected, the cook on it improperly done, definitely NOT rare!!!! I had such high expectations but was definitely disappointed. It was also 1/2 price wine bottle night. However, there was no way the bottle was worth the original $40/bottle!!!!
My boyfriend and I went as a surprise date. I actually treated him for once, it was a great meal. Everything we ate, we shared; all of it was delicious. We had a 5 course meal. We were so full that it made me super sleepy, I refer to it as a food high. We had to pull over on the side of the road and rest our eyes and our bellies for a bit. It's a totally different experience in the winter. We come here a lot during the summer while we are boating and it is usually packed. In the winter not so much. Either season the food and staff are great.
