“I just have to say this is by far my favorite sushi resturaunt ive ever been to and their food never dissapoints. I have relied on their sushi in times of personal grief, depression, and mania. I love this place so much. I wish I could tip all of the chefs $100 each everytime I order from here I just love them. I can't reccomend this place enough. their chicken teriyaki is bomb, shrimp teriyaki is bomb, their spring rolls are delicious and crispy, their sushi is AMAZING I highly reccomend their rolls that feature their spicy tuna especially! (My favorite is the volcano roll) but most of all surprisingly my favorite item on their menu is their yum yum sauce, it's to die for. I don't know what they put it in it but it's better than any other yum yum sauce I've ever had. I just can't say enough about this place I genuinely love it. Thank you for keeping me fed and happy bento's hibachi I seriously appreciate the work you guys do.“
“Did Door Dash last night 30 March 2024. Kodo is consistently good and our favorite Sushi/Hibachi/Chinese restaurant among many in the Crofton, Bowie, Gambrels and Odenton area. Hibachi steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful as was Combo Chicken, Steak and Shrimp Hibachi. The portion on the combo meal was so much that my wife and daughter share it. I had the hot sexy girl sushi combo, that's been my go to at Kodo for years. Pork steamed dumplings were great I actually cut them in half and put them in the Miso soup along with fried rice was really good“

“We have been here before and continue to enjoy the restaurant. We were a little disappointed in the vegetables that came out a little rawr than we would have expected. The chicken was a little rubbery I'm not sure why that happened we've never had that happen before. However the steak the shrimp and the salmon were all delicious our Chef did a wonderful job of entertaining us and making the children with us and others happy. We look forward to going back again“
“I'm writing this review in the restaurant's parking lot because I didn't want to forget to do it...I LOVE Taichi! It is my favorite place to eat. Every time I come into the store, the people are so nice and kind! The Tonkotsu ramen is superb!!! I tried the new ramen place that opened up in Pasadena (Kanji Noodle Bar), and while it wasn't awful, it was nowhere near as good as Taichi! Truly. They are the best! The woman with black hair that took my order today was so sweet (I forgot to ask her name)! Please, even if you have to drive a bit farther to get here, it is WORTH IT! I've had the ramen, poke bowl, sushi burrito, and bubble tea. All delicious and made with fresh fish and ingredients! She told me that they simmer the Tonkotsu broth for 10 hours, and it really shows when you taste it! I'm moving soon, and I can honestly say that I will miss Taichi so, so much! ? I'll have to buy a plushie before I go!“
“This place has one heck of an atmosphere! Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off. The restroom was clean. I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review! Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable.“
“I craved General Tso's shrimp, so I went back for a second time. This time, I decided to add an order of Shrimp fried rice. While the rice tasted good, I was very disappointed with the amount given for 18 dollars. I will admit that they put big-quality shrimp in the rice, but I should have been given more.“
“Have been going there for years, family agrees out of all the local Asian Cuisine one feels the most authentic!Every time all the time the same dishes for us but that's and we aren't brave enough to try something different because they just always do the dishes we like to justice.Pickled cabbage, Beef Casselrole, Fried Squid, Chowfun, and a few others!You also don't find many places owing up to their mistakes and apologizing to the customer. Today they made the wrong order and per courtesy gave it without charge and gave our actual order!“
