It's a totally different experience in the winter. We come here a lot during the summer while we are boating and it is usually packed. In the winter not so much. Either season the food and staff are great.

Enjoyed a wonderful date night for my husband's birthday. The food was good, but I was definitely disappointed in the Prime Rib Special. The cut was smaller than expected, the cook on it improperly done, definitely NOT rare!!!! I had such high expectations but was definitely disappointed. It was also 1/2 price wine bottle night. However, there was no way the bottle was worth the original $40/bottle!!!!

My boyfriend and I went as a surprise date. I actually treated him for once, it was a great meal. Everything we ate, we shared; all of it was delicious. We had a 5 course meal. We were so full that it made me super sleepy, I refer to it as a food high. We had to pull over on the side of the road and rest our eyes and our bellies for a bit. We made it home safe and we haven’t stopped talking about the “best place we ever ate at”! The staff was very attentive and it felt like they were there for just us. We left an above average tip.

I usually get good service from there, but the last time there, the bartender wasn't so friendly other than that we had a good time

The views were beautiful, my fiancé and I got there just before sunset. I ordered the 12oz sirloin which was smothered in a red wine sauce and mushrooms and was exquisite. The vegetable medley was flavorful along with the mashed potatoes which created the perfect duo. I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be visiting again.

Service was terrible-waited over an hour for dinner, waitress was not attentive at all -we ran out of water no drinks and my food arrived cold. Still no waitress checked on us …

We had a delicious lunch at one of our long time favorite places. After several years of changes, not always positive, this place is back!

We were interested to see how the Fish Whistle was since its move from Chestertown, where we used to like to go. We were pleasantly surprised. My food was delicious. The server was terrific, and the view over the river at sunset could not be beaten by a million dollar hotel.

This place is one of the top seafood places I have frequented. They have an all you can eat oyster night that includes shrimp, oyster sampler (3 different recipes on 9 total oysters) a steamer bag with mussels. All for about $56 a head. Great atmosphere, great service. Highly recommended.
