Beef brisket dry rub noodles with tofu puffs were delicious. Just the right amount of spicy heat. Scallion pancakes were thin and not very flavorful beyond the grease from the oil that they were made in. The fried dumplings were tasty. They came with a sweet sauce that we did not use. The beef brisket tomato soup with rice noodles was just OK. It was like faintly tomato favored water. Related, my wife and I were unhappy with the brisket given that it was mostly tendons and such. My mother-in-law enjoyed it as her tastes are more traditional, or what other reviewers here call authentic. I recommend ordering online and will do so again but know that the brisket is not what Americans expect.

We really enjoyed our meals. We ordered the R2 and M5, the meats were cooked perfectly. Both dishes were flavorful but we preferred the spicy flavor of the M5 that pairs so well with the peanuts. We will absolutely be returning to try more dishes

As Madeline Kahn said in Young Frankenstein, "It's twoo, it's twoo!"Ji Bei Chuan had been on my short list for a while so my only excuse for not getting to this highly rated venue sooner is laziness coupled with too much work and a few great restaurants that are closer. I'd also wanted to go with a number of people so that we could try a number of dishes, and I got my wish this evening.The one guy in the front of the house was very accommodating to our party of 5 adults, two young boys, and their toddler sister, pushing 3 tables together and providing one of a few high chairs. Everyone loved their rice noodle soups, from mild tomato with brisket that was half-finished and the leftover brought home, and the moderately spicy "sauerkraut" (actually Chinese fermented cabbage), to the more spicy but far from overly so Mala Spice broth with beef slices (finished except for some broth, and we're looking forward to having other noodle soups (particularly their renowned Supreme Fish Maw and Chicken) and dry noodle dishes when we return, as we plan to do regularly, and we enjoyed the spicy Baby Octopus Celery Salad appetizer that had a lot of flavors going on, but every time that we return we will order the flavorful, thin, nicely oily scallion pancake appetizer and, lastly but bestly, the extraordinary Braised Pork Intestine appetizer, which was not spicy at all, but was extraordinarily tender without being soft, and wonderfully flavorful without any of the flavor they you might be afraid of when someone speaks of intestines, e.g. chitlins, for dinner. So excited!

We were looking for a new restaurant to try and found Ji Bei Chuan Noodle House. We got the octopus celery salad, braised platter, assorted beef dry-mixed rice noodle, and supreme fish maw & chicken. There was a good amount of octopus in the octopus celery salad and it was tasty, but it needed some more acidity. The assorted beef dry-mixed rice noodle has the same meats as the braised meats dish, and the protein was really good. It was also a big amount of the price. I think this would be a good dish who are not familiar with Chinese cuisine, maybe with a different protein. The chicken and fish maw were also delicious, especially the chicken. Everything was well priced, with main dishes being from $13-16 each. There isn't much in the area of the restaurant though.
The food is so delicious, and the service is excellent. Loved their cucumber salad. The tomatoes soup is very good. All the choices are very good. Keep going back very often.
