“Service is bad, keep your expectations low when coming. The first time we tried to dine here, they turned us away 30 mins before closing time. This time, they made us move tables after ordering because they wanted to accommodate a larger party. Nothing outrageous, just not a common experience. There's also only one waitress, so expect to wait longer for service especially when it gets busy. Tables are super close together and can barely squeeze by without my butt getting uncomfortably close to the other table's food. Fried milk custard was not bad, slightly sweet, kind of greasy Spicy sour fern starch noodles were not sour or spicy at all, and were actually sweet, which was disappointing. The noodles were nice and bouncy. The fish soup was awesome, I've been craving sauerkraut fish soup ever since having it for the first time in New York. It wasn't uncomfortably spicy, and the combo for 2 came with 2 toppings and 2 sides, which I thought was well priced. I would definitely come back for it.“
“I stumbled on to this really cool Restutant my first time experiencing the pot noodle scene Very friendly server fast service I ordered the beef noodle spicy Fish balls and sausage I felt like I didn't know how to eat it at first average chopstick skills But I have it a go You must eat with patience because the Pot is Hot Combination of Soy and crushed pepper oil sauce Definitely worth visiting Thanks -“
“We’ve been here many times and each time has been a great experience. The food is always delicious and huge in portion, and the service has been really good. We never have to wait very long for the food, and we always have leftovers to bring home. I definitely recommend this place.“
“I'm a big fan of this restaurant. My go-to is green curry with chicken, very spicy. It is full of flavor and filling. The servers are generous enough to give you extra chili flakes so you can add even more spice to your heart's content. My only complaint is the rice portion could be a bit larger.“
“Lunch combos aren't worth it. I've order 2 different combos (curry chicken & szechuan chicken combos) and all you get is a bunch of veggies covered in sauce and barely any meat, which is highly disappointing. At the price points, you're better of just ordering a regular meal because I also ordered double cooked beef and that was amazing and the portion for that was really good. Their apps are really good. I really liked the fried crab sticks and they're much better than other chinese places I've had. Other than that, the service has been great. No comment on atmosphere but each time I've gone, there's always people there so thats a plus.“
“Beautiful Atmosphere! The thai art is at authentic and it is shipped in from Thailand! The time art clock is a must see And there is a realtor Tuk Tuk inside the restaurant!Vegetarian options: Most dishes are vegan and must add a meat selection.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and keto friendlyKid-friendliness: Kids would love the art!Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible!“
“This place is delicious and has wonderful service. I got the oxtail pho and my daughter got the fried rice with a strawberry nutella crepe for dessert. The broth on my pho was some of the best ever. The basil and bean sprouts were some of the freshest I have seen at a pho spot. This place is wonderful - you can get great pho, crepes, and teas all in one spot. The staff were super friendly.“
“I had dinner here last night. Our waitress overheard me and my friend discussing the safety of my E Bike parked outside. She came over and told me I can bring it inside the restaurant and park it near the door, so I could keep an eye on it. I was very impressed and grateful. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“This is a second location for Chopin. They have a location in Catonsville as well. Both places offer great food and good value. The popcorn chicken is crispy and juicy. The noodles are hand pulled. The peanut sauce in the cold noodle is a bit light on the flavor. The service was great and they play piano as well from time to time. Overall I'd come back again.“
“We have been coming to Jin River for spicy Chinese foods since 2015. Great location, next to the block, right by Rockville town center area.Their dishes spices are not the spiciest but the SiChuan flavor is authentic. From meats to fish to all sorts of Chinese pastries are all very delicious. Also don’t forget to try their smoked duck meat, one of my favorite. The customer service has always being friendly and attentive. Pricing is reasonable. The restaurant has been here forever, but it does not seem like any renovation has been done on it, so looks dated both inside and outside. There are plenty parkings out front and around, BE AWARE, only the ones right in front of the restaurant with no pay parking signs are free.Others are all pay to park.Do recommend by @winedinenvacay“
“Best Taiwanese food we have found in Maryland! Better than two other (primarily) Taiwanese restaurants in Rockville. We were too busy eating and did not take pictures. Restaurant owner and customers were speaking Taiwanese to each. It brought me back to memories of Taiwan. ?Gave 4 stars only because I would have liked the noodle to be more al dente.“
“I’m in town for a few days from suburban Atlanta, where we have a pretty good Thai food scene, but this place is my new favorite! The Tom Kha soup, with its significant overtones of lemon is outstanding! The Basil Fried Rice is made with a hint of chili pepper that really rings my bell! And the Wonton Soup, something I might usually take for granted, was the best I ever had! Five Stars and Two Thumbs Way Up! I’ll be back! As a Governator of California once said!??“
“Solid option for some authentic dim sum, some nice selection for one person or to share, I highly recommend the braised pork on rice and the A&J wonton soup, you will not be disappointed with those options. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it's a great lunch spot if you are in the area and not too pricey either. And of course the scallion pancake is delicious.“
“It's a restaurant with a hometown feel. Every portion is super large, and you can take it away if you can't finish it!! The owner and Chef "阿雄師" are super hospitable. The hidden Taiwanese menu changes all the time, so next time, you can ask the owner if she has any new dishes.“
“This is the closest place you'll get the Szechuan food in Maryland. I came to Bob's Shanghai and ordered a lot of the Szechuan based menu. First order the beef tendon which had plenty of heat, personally there was a too much black pepper for me. Still was plenty tasty with a gelatinous texture. Secondly had some of their soup dumplings and it was great. Not as much soup as I would like, but there was plenty of flavor. For those who don't know what soup dumplings are, soup dumplings are essentially dumplings which have soup in them. They come out piping hot so you really want to watch out before you bite into these. We also ordered the pork belly stir fried in vegetable and Szechuan sauce. This was the highlight of the whole trip. The stir-fry consisted of plenty of garlic, bamboo shoots, green pepper, spring onion, and Szechuan peppers. The fatty pork belly and combination of vegetables really gave a nice touch. Lastly I ordered the Dan Dan noodles which were terrible. They were dry tasteless and not worth getting. Considering Szechuan is one of my favorite food styles, I usually go to Philly in order to get my Szechuan fixing. For now this place will do the job“
“There were free appetizers. The waiters responded to your choices on the screen really quick. There were many varieties of meats and vegetables to choose from. The sauce station had many options as well for you to mix and match. Everyone has their own pot and lots of room.“
“Really nice thai place in the Kentlands neighborhood. The food is finger-licking good. We love their papaya salad and green curry the most. Other currys and stir fry are also superb. They need a few more staff so the service could be faster but overall it wasnt bad. Food comes piping hot!“
“Lunched several times here in the past few weeks. Nice booths in the seating area. Always clean. Never feels rushed. Staff friendly. Still addicted to the Caeser salad with Impossible Chicken on top.Parking: Lot behind the restaurant serves a whole host of businesses in the shopping center, which can be challenging at times. That being said, I've never been unable to park.“
“Today, I visited their place for the first time and ordered some barbecue from the restaurant. This is a fairly standard Chinese barbecue, where the grilled food is sprinkled with chili, cumin, and sesame. My favorites are the grilled lamb skewers and the fermented rice and egg milk.“
“We were looking for a new restaurant to try and found Ji Bei Chuan Noodle House. We got the octopus celery salad, braised platter, assorted beef dry-mixed rice noodle, and supreme fish maw & chicken. There was a good amount of octopus in the octopus celery salad and it was tasty, but it needed some more acidity. The assorted beef dry-mixed rice noodle has the same meats as the braised meats dish, and the protein was really good. It was also a big amount of the price. I think this would be a good dish who are not familiar with Chinese cuisine, maybe with a different protein. The chicken and fish maw were also delicious, especially the chicken. Everything was well priced, with main dishes being from $13-16 each. There isn't much in the area of the restaurant though.“
