This place was ok. One of the biggest issue I see the two times I have been. Is the people who go in regularly get much better service then people like myself who just drop in. The food is nothing to brag about just standard diner food. You have to be prepared to wait though it's not uncommon for your waitress to just disappear. So make sure when she brings your food you have everything or you won't get it.

Always great service. Usually Miranda or dale wait on us today maria waited on us very good service. However the kitchen and management seem to have gone downhill since reopening. They are frequently out of stuff. They have been out of crab cakes for 3 weeks now. Simple things like ordering your scrapple and for it to be grill fried not deep fried and you watch the cook put it in a pan of oil..... Smh. I have been a long time customer and the new manager does not seem to be anywhere near what the old manager was. Even had to knock on the window at 810 this morning to get the door open. This all falls under management. A great wait staff can only make up for soo much.

The food was burnt the potatoes were black and the smell over took the sausage and gravy so it tasted burnt too it's a shame that the cook would even serve that but I guess because it was take out the cook didn't care and there was no sausage in the gravy. I loved this place before the covid 19 hit but not no more

Been here two times. None recently though. Service was horrible, food wasn't anything to write home about, and it was over crowded. If you aren't a favorite there, you won't be getting decent service at all.

Much like another review, we stopped based on the sign our front boasting the best breakfast in town. We were hungry!! And always prefer to patronize local businesses whenever possible. We should have checked the reviews. That's was our mistake. Now let me share that we are not from the area. Maybe that has something to do with ..... nothing! A rather cold welcome to the restaurant as we were told to 'just sit anywhere, someone will get to you'. We decided to take two seats at the bar. We were given menus and our drink order was taken. After that two other gentlemen took seats at the bar as well. We placed our food order within a minute of the others at the bar. Now these men had a familiar banter with the waitress so they might be regulars. They did in fact get their meals much sooner than we got ours. Our food was served about 40 minutes after our order was placed. Eggs over medium with corn beef hash and Eggs Benedict. Nothing crazy. Also nothing to rave about either. Most notably the Eggs Benedict was served with hard (and I do mean hard!) cooked eggs. I'm starving at this point so I ate one. Even if they had been perfectly cooked, when I looked up mid meal to see one of the cooks come from the kitchen to visit with the others at the bar ..... in a shirt that was covered, no SATURATED with the food he had been preparing!! A car mechanic would not have looked like this! No matter what the food tasted like at this point my fork went down. We left a tip. A small tip. We won't ever be back again. And unless you are one of their fav customers .... you probably shouldn't eat here either.

We were looking for a new restaurant to try for dinner. Despite the negative reviews we headed to Mikie's. It was ok. The food was ok. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Crab cake sliders were actually very good. Tomato soup was bland from a can and over priced. Tater tots was a nice side option. Probably won't go back.

Stopped in on a Sunday morning around 9:30. Not real crowded but picked up after we arrived. Immediate service but had to wait over 30 minutes for breakfast. Food was only luke warm, and average at best. Average price but attention to service needs improvement.

After driving past the sign of 'best breakfast on town' I felt compelled to eventually give this spot a shot I didn't bother looking them up on Yelp because I saw a simple local greasy spoon - how bad could it be? Service was abysmal. Half the diner was closed for some unknown reason, coralling the customers in an already small restaurant to make it easier on the 2 servers? There were 3 other tables and somehow it took 10 minutes to get a set of menus, another 10 to get our coffee, and that coffee was only refilled when our food was dropped off another 10 minutes later. Ever spent a half an hour in a mostly empty diner waiting on eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and pancakes? I have. Food was okay at best. Biscuits were hard and dry with some doughy spots. Eggs were fine but not seasoned, which is okay as there was salt and pepper handy. Pancakes were on par with McDonald's pancakes. Gravy couldn't of possibly been made in house. Bacon was on the verge of being cold. There are a lot of diners to choose from locally, maybe this spot just gives good service and food to it's regulars - because I cannot fathom them having stayed open for as long as they have with service this bad and food this subpar.

We went here after bowling. It was nice. The menu was ok and reasonably priced. Food was good. Waitress was average. She could of been more attentive. But still it’s an ok place.

I've gone here a couple of times. Each time I left underwhelmed. I have always gotten the food to go. The first time I went, I got the country fried steak. The sausage gravy was under seasoned and tasted like flour...a true disappointment. I then got the breakfast wrap and I really wished they heated the wrap or steamed it so it would be soft and pliable instead the wrap was dry and cracked. The wrap was under seasoned. Do we see a trend here?! I feel like this place could do better. Fox News was on in the background and I could hear someone in the back defending Trump against all the allegations. That was not a good look as I feel like that could have been voiced quietly. Anyways, I would try somewhere else. I love small breakfast places, but this disappointed me.
