“I have been coming to this crab spot for yyyyeeeaaarrrssss. They never disappoint. You get what you pay for here and I will continue to pay for the best crabs. I definitely also will recommend the crabby eggs. My kids love them. I get snowballs from them as well ?“
“Went back to Baltimore since moving away. Went to Thames because we heard it was the best place to go in Fells Point. It was amazing. Our group shared and tried just about everything on the menu from Appetizers, Mains, and Desserts, including the Raw Oysters. We loved everything that they offered. It was quite busy but we were taken care of like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Teresa was just wonderful and knew the menu inside and out. She was such a Sweet Heart. If you get lucky enough to have her when you go there, your visit will be fabulous. We can't wait to return from Georgia and this will be a must visit restaurant for us.“
“Angel‘S’s is one of the worst seafood places to get crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s. They sell you baby crabs for large crabs that’s not how you do business. Drove out of town to get nice size crabs, and this idiot gave me baby crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s..“
“The service and food was absolutely amazing! I drove in from Buffalo NY to watch the ravens beat chiefs. While that didn’t happen the one bright spot was deciding to give Angie’s a try. The food was absolutely amazing! The crab dip, the crab cakes, my 16oz ribeye smothered in the most perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp, fresh crab meat. It was phenomenal. I can’t remember his name but the guy waiter we had as well was a cool guy. He walked around when he had a minute and had conversations with all the customers so I left an extra tip. Next season when I’m back in town I will be paying them a visit again!“
“Amazing! Went for 2nd time last night - both times were with same Meetup group. Food was amazing! Appetizers, entrees, and desserts - all wonderful. And service was excellent! Tony was our server. He was gracious with a great personality. We will definitely go back!“
“Visited this location after getting great news from Johns Hopkins. I've been to many locations nationally and felt it was a safe bet to be "the" place to have a celebratory meal after a long ordeal. I was right, but it actually exceeded my expectations! Food was excellent and the service even better! Our server was Ilana and she was by far the best attentive and personable server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (if you come here; request her!). I'll most certainly come here again should I visit Baltimore again.“
“I come to this restaurant a few times a month. The place is very exceptional. It has great food that can be an alternative to typical fast food places. If you tire of fast food, I recommend people should come here.Have you tried their fried chicken?“
“Amazing dinner yesterday, I had the Squid Ink Pasta and Caesar salad. It taste really good and the quality was really great. Nice food portions and excellent quality of food. I also had some drinks. The cocktails were awesome and so refreshing. Menu was excellent and they have great portions too. Nice setting and pleasant ambiance.“
“Hey I know the prices for crab cakes are high but Trust Me When I Say THEY ARE WORTH IT❣️? THERE FOOD IS SOOOO GOOD & FRESH PICK UP FAST & EASY YOU CAN EVEN GET DOBLE THE AMOUNT OF CRAB CAKES FOR THE SAME PRICE IF YOU ORDER THEM ALREADY MADE AND BAKE OR BROIL THEM AT HOME? YES THEY DELIVER THEM TO YOUR DOOR? ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I GIVE THEM MORE THAN 5 ?Kid-friendliness: It's a local restaurant that's feels more like family??Wheelchair accessibility: They have no steps to enter or leaving it's all on one floor very very good for our family & friends that are handicap? ?“

“We had oysters three different ways, all were outstanding. The fried oysters were amazing. My husband had the catfish entree, innovative preparation, he liked it. They have a good selection of beers and bourbons. The space is beautiful. Our servers were very good and offered good suggestions. We will be back.“
“Prices here have become very high for a chain pasta place. Chicken dishes at Outback, their sister restaurant, are $15 and here chicken dishes are now outrageous at $22-25 dollars for smaller portions. Spent more for soup and salad at dinner for 5 small shrimp than I would have paid for an excellent filet at Texas Roadhouse with a ton of leftovers. Used to be a favorite place of mine, but with gluten allergies and huge price increases these past 2 years find it difficult to frequent. Above average food for a chain at fine dining prices. No longer a good value.Dietary restrictions: Staff accommodating and somewhat familiar with food allergies.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.“
“I had dinner here today and the experience was amazing… Natasha was amazing and super friendly! She took care of all of our needs and made our dinner very special! I will definitely be coming back here not only for the wonderful food and great experience but also for the amazing service and lovely staff!“
“I went here as a last-minute decision and was surprised by the experience. The dining area was much nicer than I imagined it would be. I really enjoyed my app/meals with the exception that the creme brulee was overly little burnt on top. The service was really on par. Overall a pleasant surprise.“
“This was our first visit, and boy, are we glad we decided to stop here. We were promptly seated and immediately greeted by our server, Keeley (sp?). She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and even offered some suggestions. Keeley was ver friendly and outgoing. Loved having her as our server! Keeley recommended the hush puppies; they were great!Hubby and I both ordered 2 snow crab clusters, which came with corn and potatoes. We loved that we could choose our sauces (or no sauce) and our spiciness level. Our food arrived at our tabke in a timely manner and was hot. We opened up those steamer bags, and the tantalizing aroma was a delight. The crab legs, corn, and potatoes were cooked perfectly! Yummmmmm! What an enjoyable dinner. We will definitely be back!“
“Love them. very good seafood and oysters but the last several times I haven't been able to sit out on the outside deck when it was clearly open. Also our drinks the other day were very weak. That's the first time ever. For the amount of money that we spend on drinks, they should have more alcohol. overall they're great!“
“Great panoramic views here to go with some scrumptious cocktails. Staff was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Appetizers and entrees were what one would expect for the price and nicely presented. Mushroom soup appetizer and the lobster with squid ink pasta entree, along with the seabass, were underwhelming. The ricotta appetizer, along with duck and short ribs entrees was delicious.“
“We had a large dinner party at Gunther and Co and the consensus of the group was that we would all be back. The food was so delicious! Even the simple dishes were done so well. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks and was so kind. This place was immaculate from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back!“
“First timer! Easy reservation process. Wasn't crowded at all. The crab egg rolls were very good. As well as the wings. I didn't order any drinks. I did, however, order the gumbo. To me, it was too salty and not enough rice. The entrée was plentiful. I had enough to take home. Super friendly staff that served my table. Food came out extremely fast. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Parking can be sketchy but the restaurant was worth it. I'd go back to try another entrée and get some drinks.“
“Baltimore is Little Italy has a new bright shining star! Recently purchased by a young chef from Sardinia Italy, La Tavola, fresh new dishes and exciting menu. Native dishes from Sardinia like cuguliones And others highlight the attention to detail in their exciting new kitchen! I highly recommend this restaurant for their excellent food and remarkable service. Ron don’t walk to La Tavola.“
“The food was good the shrimp po boy had great reviews online. It was huge definitely got my money's worth. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was soft and fresh. The shrimp was fried and seasoned perfectly. The cheesesteak the cheese wasn't that good but the meat was good bread was thin. The cheesecake was over priced and thin but it had a good flavor. The can soda wasn't cold. The service was fast and the food was hot. I didn't eat in I got door dash but the food was warm enough when we got it. I would definitely order the shrimp ok boy again.“
“What an experience! So I decided to drop in at UO. So happy that I did. It was a nice vibe on a Wed afternoon. I started my meal with a Drink: Kingston Snow Day and a starter: Deviled Eggs. It was pretty good. The drink had me in a trance l, it was delicious and strong. The deviled eggs were good, not overly seasoned, just fresh ingredients. Of course I couldn’t leave w/o trying the oysters and all I can say is wow!! Delicious, fresh and the side dressings that come with them just enhances the flavor. These aren’t ordinary oysters, they taste exactly how they are described on the list. Add UO to your restaurant roster.“
“This is by far the best chicken and fish place in Baltimore. The fastest selling item is the macaroni and cheese. People are coming in and ordering just macaroni and cheese sometimes and they're ordering extra on the side with their meal. And the cabbage is to die for oh my god I don't know what he puts in the cabbage but it's great. If you're looking for a place to get some good soul food this is it!“
“At a tagliata, I recommend trying the classic Tagliata di Manzo, which is thinly sliced grilled beef typically served with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan shavings. It's a delicious and flavorful choice that showcases the quality of the meat. Enjoy your meal!“
“A fantastic find! We wandered in on a Thursday night without a reservation and were seated promptly. The food arrived quickly and was quite delicious. Our waiter Raphael was very attentive and a pleasant conversationalist. We enjoyed the stuffed calamari, Dover sole, and lobster pasta. All were very delicious. I elected to filet the Sole myself, but please note that it does come bone-in. The stuffed calamari is not the little calamari bites, but is the size of a chicken breast. The lobster pasta is very fresh, and the sauce has a sweet acidity that is to die for. Will return again!“
“Where to start with this gem?! First off....everything from the moment we stepped in the front door was on point. Host knew our name and had reserved table ready and waiting. Great intimate atmosphere in both bar and dining room. Cocktails were excellent....best Manhattan on this trip thus far. Menu is manageable and clearly based on fresh, in season components. From the Susan's Shrimp appetizer...to the Maryland Crab Soup, perfect starters. Then an entree of Maryland crab cakes with roasted Brussel sprouts and slaw, accompanied by in house tartar, well played pairing. The other “off menu” entree offering was pan grilled red snapper topped with lump crab and velvety beure blanc sauce with roasted root vegetables.....heaven! Finished off with a house grand marnier creme brûlée....NO words! Chef Akbar has outdone himself and still takes the time to check on his patrons table-side should you request, as I did. Do yourself a favor and book dinner here!!! #cheers“
“Growing up my family owned a crab house (BEST SEAFOOD) on furnace branch rd. ,From the early 2000’s to the late. My parents had no qualms about exploiting child labor. I on the other hand had no problems sampling the product. I feel that that makes me a leading authority. I’ve e had them all big, small from MD to Louisiana and everywhere in between. After we sold, there’s only been one crab shack that gets my money. They use an exclusive blend of J.O. seasoning and they always have unbelievable prices, specifically on females (female crabs are superior in all ways) except maybe size. How’s that for an endorsement.“
“First I want to say this is my first time ordering from here. So I just want to say based off the presentation I just knew the food was going to be good ? 10/10 for the presentation. Now the food it self was so good i forgot to take a picture. The jumbo crab cake was the best one I have ever had. And the chef’s special sauce is to die for. Omg. The lamp chops were delicious it’s was my first time eating lamp chops so I was a bit nervous but whew chef rock has me sold I will be returning to order more from him“
“Wonderful customer service through the door! I from Philly, came to MD to visit a friend of mine. Everytime I'm in Maryland, I MUST bring crabs back with me! Well after searching through a few crab spots near Hanover, I settled on Crack and Juicy because their prices were super reasonable ($60/dz for medium males, and 3 crabs free!), but I'll be going back, not because of price but because the guy at the register and the guy cooking were so personable and friendly. The cook (I think he was the owner) gave me a free shrimp while I waited and added an extra 3 crabs in my bag! I'm in the restaurant industry, so I know good service and these guys got it!“
“Dylan’s is Baltimore’s best oyster spot. The oyster selection is spot on, with representation for the best regions (PEI, Maine, Massachusetts, Washington state). There’s one oyster on the menu that’s particularly excellent: West Robins from New York.“
“I love the homely feel of the restaurant and the service was excellent. The french fries were on point and the blacked chicken sandwich was ok. The crabcakes were too salty and not enough flavor. The macaroni was good but a tad too sweet for my taste. I also got wine but was given to me in a plastic cup. That's a first. A glass would have been nice. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would return but will try something else.“
“We stopped by on our way home to try soft shell crab for the first time. Everything was delightful - from the staff to the seafood! I wish we lived closer, but we will definitely come again next time we are in the state! Thanks y'all! :)Notice: They kindly recommend calling to order, as apps tend to charge extra even for pickups. I can confirm that their direct prices are much better. Good to know!“
“After driving by the restaurant for the past few years, my wife and I finally tried it tonight. Our overall thought was why we had yet to try it before. The food was delicious. The crab cake egg roll and crab cake stacker sandwich were awesome. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was spotless.“
“This has become my new ritual when I drive from NJ to DC and back. I have to stop at Nick's for a dozen of the best crabs anywhere. The crabs are fresh, steamed and spiced to perfection, and served with great customer service. We are never going back to the pirates at the DC Wharf again. Nick's is a real jem.“
“Easily the best hotpot experience we've had in the area. They give large fresh portions of meat, the buffet has a large variety of meats, and veggies. The soup was perfect. My wife and I decided that whenever we want hotpot this is the place we're going from now on.“
“Went here for my sisters birthday. Can’t believe there’s such an amazing halal gem so close to me. They were so accommodating for last minute reservations. The food was amazing, the lamb chops and beef tenderloin were so tender and juicy. Their tea and plov was phenomenal. The chef was so kind to let us try their manti. Definitely a new favorite for us, can’t wait to come back again!“
“We were fortunate to have Shannon, who is a manager, wait on us. I'm confident that under her leadership and that of the other managers, all the wait staff is as excellent! The food is fantastic. I had a soft shell crab special and my dinner guest had the famous crab cakes that were wonderful. Yes, I got a hunk of bread in the piece of crab cake he shared, but it was delicious anyway and I could see that the cake was predominantly lump meat. For dessert, we had the locally made ice cream that is phenomenal. The flavor "Beautiful Struggle" (I think?) is a tangy, delicious berry-flavor that is like sherbet on steroids. It struggles to be ice cream vs sorbet and it's amazing. So is the chocolate. We had the whole main entrance room to ourselves on a Saturday evening which was great as we had a service animal escort, which was welcomed and accommodated beautifully. So appreciated! Highly recommend Pappas... you'll have a tough time running out of options no matter how often you visit. I'm looking forward to a Steak Chesapeake. Don't forget that across the intersection is their takeout place! And, if the generous parking happens to somehow be full, it's OK to overflow there. The main entrance is in the back of the building as are the handicapped parking spaces.Parking: Large parking lot to rear main entrance. That's where handicapped spots are. Overflow into the Pappas takeout restaurant lot across the intersection (same side of the street). Absolutely ample!“
“They aren't kidding when they say if you can only stop at one place for crabcakes while in Maryland try Faidley's.The crabcakes are massive and to my surprise pretty much entirely crab meat. Not a bread patty with a hint of crab. The side portions are generous and definitely shareable for smaller appetites. It is quick service cafeteria style. You run your foor tray along the railing, place your order, and leave your tray for them to set your food on. The system wasn't explained for first timers so I inadvertently walked off with the empty tray.I didn't try the raw oyster bar but there were many patrons gathered enjoying themselves. You can also buy fresh seafood or order menu items in bulk to take home. The macaroni and cheese was delicious and the steak fries were standard fair. The restaurant is small, seating is limited and fairly close quarters. The sloping of the floor may also make it difficult for patrons with mobility issues.Overall really enjoyed it and highly recommend as a treat if you're in the area.“
“The best crab cake I have ever had the pleasure to eat. The waitress was very informative, prompt and hospitable. We had made reservations, arrived at 6 and the place was empty. We ate and upon leaving I noticed there were still no other patrons in the restaurant.I love old gems like this place and hope this review brings about more foot traffic.“
“Had a 70th birthday celebration for my wife there on March 30, 2024 with just under 40 people attending. Staff there was absolutely first class. The waitress Tianna handled us like an experienced professional. Food came out in a timely manner and was prepared perfect. They also allowed us to decorate prior to start of event. I love to see black owned businesses ran right with a good attitude staff. They are rare but this is one of them. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely consider them in the future.“
“Beautiful austere interior but with plenty of warm bright lighting. So so so happy there were carts! Carts filled with some of the BEST dim sum I have ever had. I have been to multiple dim sum restaurants in multiple cities on both coasts — this place knows what they’re doing. The pork buns were so tasty and fluffy. All the classics here and very well prepared.“
“The food was buttery garlicky and delicious! The portion size was huge but not mad about leftovers! The drinks were nice and strong. And our waiter was super friendly! The upstairs is cuter.Vegetarian options: Not many options for vegetarians!“
“My favorite restaurant in baltimore. Used to be g&m seafood near the airport. That is when I was first introduced to high-quality delicious crab cakes with hardly any filling at all. However, the last few times I went there the crab cakes were kind of dry as if they've been prepared earlier and just warmed up for serving. My nephew introduced me to Papa's restaurant. Their crab cakes are just the way I remember those being from g&m. Passing through Baltimore this time I found a different Pappas location that was closer to my hotel. I tried them and yes their crab cakes were fantastic as before. Plus they give you quiet amount of food with that crab cake. I was extremely satisfied.“
“MY GOODNESS!! Just got a platter with a crab-cake, fried shrimp, fish, scallops, steamed shrimp, hush puppies , rice/vegetables, colesaw.... I also ordered a half dozen of FRESH raw oysters ..(I know, i know, everyone don't like em' raw?) Anywho, it was all amazing!!! Not to mention a Mix Flavored slushy was super refreshing!! Customer service is 10/10! Straight up love!......Keep in mind, it's 2 seperate parts of the store...One side is sorta like a fresh seafood market, and the other is a carryout. All the same staff though...They also sell large seafood boils, that are bomb! Prices aren't cheap, but very affordable. Besides, you get what you pay for.“
“We made reservations online in advance for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled by our experience! From the professional, friendly staff to the cozy, small bistro atmosphere down to the excellent food and cocktails - we really enjoyed our experience and will be back!“
“Great service, great quality, always a hit any time we bring newcomers!Snow crab legs included ? that alone is fantastic and many local hot pots do not provide.Meat quality, veggies, and all the sides - excellent!Plus unlimited wintermelon green tea from gong cha?!Ambiance takes you to another world! Fantastic vibe and great service.Reservations are taken so if you're coming with a large group or during a busy time, call ahead.“
“Always a favorite, in my top 3 for Maryland crabcakes. My one complaint is condiments, i.e. cocktail sauce and ketchup should be automatically put in the bag. I shouldn't get home to eat the crabcakes I paid nearly $100 for and be mad I have no cocktail sauce. And one small critique, they could probably pull back ever so slightly on whatever they're using either old bay or salt. Sometimes the crabcakes are slightly on the salty side.Parking: Lot can be busy depending on the day of week and time of day. It's always best to order ahead for carry-out.“
“Tried the chicken sandwich option "Honey Hot" today. Was amazing. Normally I order the 6 chicken wings with fries option. Would love it if they had a place to sit but that's such a minor gripe, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't give the full five.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“I have been working with Chesapeake Food Works since 2019 and I must say, they NEVER disapoint. Every company I work for, I introduce them to Chesapeake and I am never sorry. Thank you for your consistency! Whether it's catering an event or the food truck in the warm weather, they are always a HIT!!!!!“
