“This place has amazing ramen and this is the second time I've been here. I would definitely recommend the Black Jack. It's a combination of their Spicy and Black Tonkotsu. The broth is deep, rich and flavorful with a kick of spice. You can always add more spice to it, just let your server know. Anything above a level 1 can get pretty spicy. I normally prefer the wavy noodles in ramen. This place serves the straight noodles. Actually you can see them making it in the room next door! The noodles were a great texture. It was not overly cooked and still had that al dente feel. Be advised that they are always very busy. If you want to sit in during lunch or dinner time, be prepared to wait. Overall, still the best Ramen I've had in the area. I would give them a try if you are near.“
“This restaurant offers a variety of options that cater to most taste buds. The food is reasonably priced and service is good. I came here to celebrate a family member’s birthday and the service was excellent. Our server, Brenden, made some great recommendations and ensured our food came out on time. We ordered the dumplings, chicken steam bun, cloud shrimp and fried chicken (Karaage) as appetizers. All were very great. We also ordered the Taipei Curry Chicken ramen, Brontosaurus bowl, Brussels & Squash, shrimp and pork belly steam buns as our entrees; all were filling and delicious. I think the curry chicken ramen could use more depth flavors; I added chili oil and mushrooms which were good additions. I also wish the chicken in the ramen was different than the chicken thighs offered as an appetizer. It made me feel like I was eating the same protein for my appetizer and entree. They have a nice drink menu; we all ordered the Last Samurai; which was tasty. I wish it came in a larger glass.I was disappointed they ran out of the miso cooking dessert but I’m looking forward to returning to try it. All in all; I would return. It’s a nice and cozy spot. They have an area where you can sit and watch the kitchen make the food as you dine.Parking: Parking can be scarce during busy times but there is street parking“
“Outstanding food, facility, location, and service in all regards except only one. The whole staff, including the kitchen, are wearing masks. That is a very impersonal management decision. It has to be a management decision; the whole staff can't be immune system compromised or sick or all making the personal decision to wear a mask. I support anyone who chooses to wear a mask and understand they will have a good reason, but this is an employer that is forcing all their employees. Sad.“
“I ate there last week looking for a good Ramen spot, i’m glad i found it, the service and food was more than fantastic. I really enjoyed when the chef asked me my opinion on the Ramen. Dashi Ramen strives to give the people EXACTLY what they want.I WILL BE BACK!“
“Super pumped about discovering this local gem. Was looking for a new Ramen spot and saw that this spot had great reviews. It definitely lived up to what everyone had to say. I was a little worried when I first arrived, as the location is in a rundown strip center. The parking can get tight, but luckily I was able to find a spot. The place is super cool inside and has a unique vibe. The menu has a nice selection of Ramen and appetizers. All which are well priced. I ordered the spicy tantan ramen. It was delicious. The broth was the perfect consistency and had a ton of great flavor. It's not very spicy, so if you're looking for a kick, you may want to ask for additional spice. The pork melted in your mouth and had a smokey taste. Just delish!!! All for less than $15 bucks! Super great find. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Particularly the meat skewers.“
“Very solid food and overall experience.Took my daughter there and we had edamame, steamed dumplings, an avocado roll, a California roll and the Black and Red Ramen. The Ramen was very good, the sushi looked fine, nothing special. The edamame was under salted but was good. The steamed dumplings were Ok, nothing to write home about.I will definitely be back for the Ramen, probably would pass on everything else to be honest.“
“Perfect location for some comfort ramen!! Located literally right next to John’s Hopkins University, Kajiken is ideal for students, visitors, locals who are craving a savory, hot meal. The noodles are made in house and the veggies taste so fresh!! The broth was heart warming and the ambience isn’t loud and distracting, but not library quiet so having a meal with friends would be perfect!“
“We got the chicken ramen, spicy pit beef ramen, rice bowl and the fiery shiitake noods. The rice bowl was probably everyone's least favorite (it was a little bland for our taste and the sauce it came with was too sweet for our palettes) and the pit beef ramen was probably the best item we tried! I personally really enjoyed the shiitake noods but the flavor does get tiring half way through with the szechwan spice peeking through so it was nice to have other dishes to try out as well! The woman serving us was so nice and was super helpful while we were ordering! Would recommend if looking to try something new and some hand pulled noodles! This is located inside whole foods so you can also get your parking validated here as well!“
“I was very excited when I found this place. The ramen itself is good, but I think the broth could use more flavor. I enjoyed all the toppings and the pork was delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try the other types they have. I like how they have the sauces on the table to help enhance the flavor, and even serve a side of kimchi (which was a wonderful surprise, because I’ve never been served kimchi at a ramen shop before)The decor was very beautiful and made the rover all experience much more enjoyable.“
“Uma Uma ramen restaurant in Ellicott City is a noodle lover's paradise! The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. It's like a warm hug in a bowl, and I can't get enough of it.“
“The tomato based veg broth is just right. I went here with my wife, and although she prefers another location for their broth, for me? This veg broth filled a flavor sensation I didn't know I needed at that moment in my life, but it made a unique memory for me.This. This is the broth flavor infusion I needed. It's like a Korean and Italian fusion, like Ramen and Minestrone, perfectly married, in a flavor sensation that truly enriches the mind and bodyI got mine with an added egg, my wife lamented that there wasn't mushrooms, her favorite! That's also an option, we'll have to add it next time!I loved the unique and interesting musical repertoire during our lunch. It added a delightful touch to the atmosphere. However, I couldn't help but notice that the volume was a tad high for casual conversation. Additionally, while I personally enjoyed the content, I wanted to mention that some of it might be considered less than business-friendly. Just wanted to share my thoughts in the most positive way possible! ?The staff was kind, receptive, friendly, the food was incredible!A new flavor combination I will forever cherish!I told my wife "Babe, ANY time you want to go to lunch here? I'm there!"Great service, nice atmosphere, great food, I'm already looking forward to my next meal here, what a lovely place! ❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️Vegetarian options: The tomato based broth doesn't pretend to be your typical ramen broth, but it delivers on savoriness and flavor“
“I got a little confused at the front door. They had a machine that takes orders but only take out orders. Don't do what I did and order from it if you wanted to sit down and eat.Other than that, the food was great. I had a tonkotsu miso ramen and gyoza. FINALLY a Japanese place that does gyoza right!!They wear both filling and delicious. I'll definitely be coming back and order correctly next time!!“
“I haven't had Mi & Yu in a long time and was super impressed. The staff was helpful when I was ordering and helped me order. I got ramen with fried chicken. The chicken was very favorite and made for a perfect bowl of soup for a cold day!“
“So far, I have tried salmon bomb, yellow tail amazing, water fall, and moon cake in the sushi bar appetizers, and all of them were great. They have such unique, yet delicious appetizers, and I highly recommend trying them out. I will say the sushi rolls are average, and I am not the best fan of their ambience, but the appetizers make up for everything else.“
“On Wednesday, 4/10, I asked DD for ramen for my birthday dinner. She brought me takeout from PNR 360 and I've just been slow in reviewing ;) It was outstanding! I have been driving much farther to get a specific ramen that isn't served everywhere, and this is my new go-to spot that's closer to home. Tan Tan Ramen is spicy and full of so many flavors, and this place got it right. Lots of the minced pork made it rich and hearty, and with the addition of "tea eggs" (soft-boiled eggs) for a small extra cost, it compared most favorably to the sit-down restaurant where I usually go. And it was FOUR MEALS of deliciousness for me! The only thing I wish is that they used whole baby bok choys because I do enjoy those. Such a small thing, not stopping me from getting it again. DD also bought gyoza and they were OK but I prefer a bit less frying to mine. I believe there was an error in packaging, because we didn't get the usual soy-based dipping sauce; it was a sort of aioli but I'm not sure what. Weird. Anyway, she said the place was very clean and her poke bowl was excellent. Once she figured out that ordering from the touch screen onsite was much better than trying GrubHub (doesn't have the full menu) she said it was easy and the order came out quickly. As noted, it's in the food court at the Arundel Mills Mall - which I avoid like the plague - but since GrubHub doesn't have the Tan Tan, I guess I'll be going about every other week!“
