“What a PLEASANT SURPRISE! My wife and I frequently go to this out of the way shopping center for three stores: Ollie's, Mom's and a Goodwill Thrift store. We always pass Pollo Fiesta on the way in but never ate here before this visit. First things first, I am GLUTEN FREE and MANY "Peruvian" or South American rotisserie chicken places marinate the fowl in BEER (cerveza) and/or use soy sauce in seasoning...this prohibits the delightful pollo from my diet! The wonderful young lady who was managing Pollo Fiesta the day we were there assured me that the chicken was hand rubbed with a gluten free seasoning blend. Both my wife and I LOVED it! I had a side of black beans that were good. NOT GREAT, to me, because I am used to Cuban black beans that are seasoned differently. My wife had a side of plantain that she loved. This restaurant does not offer much in the way of ambience. But it IS very suitable for a family with young kids! The service is wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Not only is this cake beautiful AND delicious, the Cake Faerie was so easy and kind to work with and didn’t charge crazy prices for add ons. We chatted on the phone about what I was thinking and she put my few random visions for a simple cake for a small retirement party into this beautiful creation. “I stopped in to pick up some wine for my mom, wasn't overly impressed with the store side. Crowded and unorganized.HOWEVER!! I needed to use the restroom before getting back on the road, so I crossed into the bar/restaurant side, I instantly wanted to sit down and have a drink. Everyone was welcoming, and seemed to be having a great time. And for a bar, it smelled really clean, and looked well kept. I called my partner on the way home and told him we had to check this place out our next day off! Don't let your first initial glance going in fool you, I'm pretty sure this is one of those low key awesome hang out spots. “Last week my wife and I notice their truck on the road and we were curious about what it is. So yesterday we pull up right in front of it. After a quick shop around the other stores we step inside WNB and it’s clean on the inside. They were welcoming. Friendly staff. We order a burger, steak and cheese and wings with fries. “I love the Naked Lunch Kitchen! Where do I start??! Their house-made dressings are AMAZING. My go to menu item are the jackfruit tacos with the spicy crema and regular crema. Now, the location in Ivy City DC call it spicy and regular crema. Here, though it says spicy crema on the jackfruit taco description, the staff will act confused and then share its the buffalo dressing. Whatever, just smother my tacos! The dressings are THAT GOOD! The tzatziki and jalapeño lime vinaigrette are my next faves! I've tried other times on the menu, but my second go to is often a build your own. The pickled onions are a staple for me. MOM's is an overall a nice spot to shop and find clean, organic food. The prices for some items are definitely higher than your Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, but I am willing to pay for convenience and the lesser crowds when it comes to my shopping experience. The familiar faces in my neighborhood location in Ivy City and the fact that they knew me as a frequent shopper made for a very personable shopping experience. Try the jackfruit tacos and prepare to be obsessed! :)”

“Look I'm not a huge fan of Jimmy John's food but I decided to give them another shot. I have to say unfortunately I'm still not a fan of it. With that being said the employees were friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and my meal was fresh. I sort of feel bad for giving them a 4 stars instead of five but I simply can't get over the price. A drink, sub, chips, and a brownie on the promo come out to $15. If we compare them to fast food then using deals on apps you can either get more food or the same amount of food for less money at competitors. If we compare them to fast casual restaurants then sure $15 isn't bad but you are getting much higher quality food at pretty much every fast causal restaurant. If my meal was about $2-3 cheaper I would feel more comfortable giving them a 5 stars.”

The owner and staff are good people and I am a happy customer.Also the best vegetarian sandwich I have had anywhere, and as good as their meat subs. Just tell them exactly what you want or leave it to them and they will prepare a great sandwich for you.”
