“Really nice to go for brunch or dinner. Pretty and on the river. Food is good and came out fast. Very polite staff. Also has a speakeasy bar below it. There is also a walking trail right across the river, you walk to historical bridge to. Great for a date. Parking is around the back from where you arrive.”

“Food is quite good and more then a year after first coming here they have kept the quality very good. That is rare for Desi restaurants in general. There fish fry is always top notch. Both veg and non veg options are good. Good variety and they kept the buffet stocked till 3pm again very good. Almost suffering from there popularity on Sundays morning with longer wait and running out of utensils and small bowels for dessert. Parking little tight. Again good problem to have. Wish them continued success!”

“I can't recommend this place enough!!! The restaurant is absolutely delicious and the service is impeccable. My husband actually decided to get married here after eating dinner in the restaurant. The owners are wonderful and the chef has an incredible pallet based on the menus and wine pairings. They truly provide the best most stress free experience when we were planning all the way through the ceremony. Super wonderful and cozy for a date night and perfect for an intimate/ medium size wedding!”

“I love love love the hot dry rub wings but all food is excellent. The bartenders consistently make quality cocktails. I wish they could build a really nice patio tearing down the less used side of the restaurant. My only suggestion. Love the Hideaway ”

“TRY THE FAMILY STYLE. My husband and I have eaten here plenty of times but this time we had our kids with us. We tried the family style menu and we're extremely impressed by the portion sizes and how everything was served. We were given the option of two appetizers which were huge and plenty to split amongst four people. In addition, we had two large salads, one of which we didn't even touch because one salad was enough for the family of four. Our waitress suggested several menu options which the kids and I loved. My husband was able to get his favorite rigatoni D. We all still had so much food at the end of our meal that we packed most of it up for leftovers. The best part of the family meal was the desserts. Small portions of each of the desserts on their menu were served, allowing the kids in my husband and I to try a piece of each one. We left extremely happy and full.”

They could be a great dessert. The mojitos were delicious and packed with mint. I recommend the pernil but I enjoyed all the pork options. I’ll be back to continue sampling the menu!”

“We were looking for a place to stop to eat on the way home from DC. So happy we found Bon Fresco! We got the London Broil sandwich and the Fresh Mozz and Tomato sandwich. Both were fantastic! We ate them so fast we forgot to take pictures! The bread was perfect. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. If we weren't full we could have eaten multiple of each. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and pleasant. There are plenty of tables to sit down and eat and the ambiance was that of a deli. We loved it! If we are ever back in Columbia, MD we will definitely hit up Bon Fresco again!!”

“The service at the Outback on Sunday evening, April 7th, was fantastic! Our server, Lamont, was attentive without being intrusive. We never had to ask Lamont anything twice! I can’t say enough good things about Lamont. He was very professional, kind, and accommodating. He went the extra mile to ensure everyone at that table was happy and satisfied. The service was impeccable from start to finish. When we come back, we will ask for Lamont. I also want to add that the entire staff worked seamlessly together to create a seamless dining experience. “I stopped here to try their gluten-free cakes. If you're GF you know how hard it is to fine edible GF cakes. I tried 2 on the bundtettes.Lemon-blueberry lavender- the cake is light and crumbly without being powdery (yay) texture wise this cake was wonderful. But, if you are the type where lavender can turn "soapy" this isn't for you. I am one of these people unfortunately so I won't get this one again.Red Velvet - oh my goodness this was divine. It did not taste like a gluten-free product. It tasted exactly like a normal flour cake. It was rich, moist and probably rates as one of the best red velvet cakes I've ever had. Even the icing was the perfect ratio. I wish I got more to take home lol”

“I recently visited My Kabul with family and some friends. Having been to most Afghan restaurants in the DMV and being Afghan myself I can say that the food was average. We ordered mantu and spinach for appetizers. Mantu has a good taste, but barely any yogurt sauce on them. The spinach lacked salt and not as flavorful as other restaurants.The kebabs were juicy, however lacking salt. The rice was good as well. Overall food needs improvement and salt please!!The service was great, our waiter was kind and hospitable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. I enjoyed the dining table and chair setup as if we were at someone’s house.Overall, I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here, but I might stop by if I’m in the area.”
