The LEMON CHICKEN PICCATA was perfect & something I wouldn't have thought to try! My Mom's first visit to any Silver Diner & my first to this location. An extremely pleasant experience beginning with the hostess opening the doors for us. Great old fashion diner atmosphere! Definitely too full to try the dessert menu but it was tempting!“
“Very small homey, little restaurant, where everybody seemed to know everyone else. The waiters were all very nice and welcoming as well. It took a while for the food to come out and for the them to get us a check, but that's to be expected at such a small spot. I got the breakfast plate with a fish cake, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. The food wasn't amazing per se, but it was decent, and well cooked. I tried my mom's scrapple, and that was probably the best thing there. Overall, the restaurant had a very welcoming homey type vibe, and the food fit the restaurant.“
“Regardless of when you are wanting a quick and flavorful meal, Denny's should definitely be at the top of your list of places to go in Waldorf. The staff goes out of their way to make your experience amazing and take the time to learn your name. Major shout out to Kitty for always going the extra mile! By the time my family is fully seated, she not only remembers us but she is already bringing our favorite beverages (with refills so we don't have to wait) and almost always knows exactly what our order is going to be. “The food is good and fair priced. The staff is always courteous. What more can you ask for? My only complaint is the overcrowding. ? I just wish they’d open up another restaurant maybe within the town. Because if you’re a La Plata local you know the line is often out the door just to pick up your order! But I guess that’s because the food is so popular! Talk about suffering from success. ?? But yes, please consider opening another Marie’s, or just upsizing so we don’t have to fight to get through the doo. (just kidding lol)“
