Love Flavor Garden! Tried for the first time last night and will def be coming back. OK, the setting is pretty basic and no one looks go in that lighting but, man, the food is fantastic!!! I had the Shrimp Po Boy and, as a frequent traveler to NOLA, prepared to be disappointed. Went to Flavor Garden for a quick breakfast on Sunday morning and had a great experience. It was a beautiful day so I asked to sit outside and was guided to the table by a friendly staff member. She quickly put in my order and the food was ready in less than ten minutes. She also brought syrup, ketchup, salt, and pepper without me having to ask and came back with extra napkins which I really appreciated. We were staying next door to the Flavor Garden and came in for breakfast on our first day in DC, the service was good, the good was so good. I keep thinking about the scrambled eggs! They tasted freshly scrambled and made out of real eggs, and seriously the best eggs I have had in my life! The french toast and bacon were also good but not as good as those eggs!
