“My first time here! I was at the gym until 10pm and I wanted to see if there was any food place nearby open late. Found this gem and wanted to try it out since I like halal food. Best decision ever! Friendly employees and OMG the first bite into this and I immediately thought that was FIRE, like really good at a good price. I got the combo platter (lamb & chicken over rice w/ white sauce & chili chutney) and both meats were very tender & yummy. Can't say for the other menu items as I haven't tried them yet, but I'll def be back. Highly recommend, so definitely check them out!“
“This is my first time at the Laurel location and I was surprised by how clean it was. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the door. Maddyn helped at check out and provided great customer service. I recently became a vegetarian and I was able to get a delicious bowl that was full of flavor. I would recommend coming to this location, there is always somewhere to park and has a nice outside area for when it’s warm outside.“
“Friendly service in the neighborhood favorite. Huge portions of delicious food, I have lamb skewers and my husband had the gyro platter, we both had leftovers for lunch the next day. Full bar, delicious margarita, southwest egg rolls, stuffed grape leaves and spiced olives were great apps. The home made baklava was a sweet end to a fabulous meal.“

“Recently had dinner with my wife at Rudy's. While we have been dining here for several years, we had not been there for some time, so we were delightfully surprised at the new (to us!) decor. The bread and red pepper sauce they bring out immediately is delicious, and with a glass of Raki really whets your appetite for the meal. This occasion we had kabobs, my wife the vegetable and I the lamb. We requested salad rather than rice, and the dishes came out beautifully arranged, too bad we didn't take a picture. The lamb was delicious, with a distinctive Turkish seasoning, and accompanied by some cacik yoghurt sauce I also asked for. My wife really liked her vegetable kabob as well. We enjoyed a bottle of Kavaklidere Yakut wine, which is a little pricey, but a wonderful accompaniment with any of the entrees at Rudy's. Finished off with the Turkish coffee, and no room this time for dessert. An excellent meal as always, with great friendly service, and of course some lively banter with Rudy!“

“The food was excellent----2 -lamb plates and 1-shrimp plate. The lemon potatoes were different and delicious. The warm pita bread and humus was a great appetizer while we waited on our order. This was a great little place for lunch after a trip to College Park IKEA--very close. Only counters---no tables, but food is worth it.“

“A great add to College Park! Taim offers great Mediterranean food with a nice variety of options. I got a bowl with honey harissa steak and it was really good. The meat was a little chewy so I would have preferred smaller pieces. I got a couscous and salad base with pickles, feta, marinated tomatoes, garlic sauce, and some green sauce. It was really good and even better in warm pita. The ginger lemonade is pretty good but nothing special. The service is mostly non-interactive but they gave me a free refill. The atmosphere is very yellow and there’s a row of mirror wall that wraps around the seating area. This isn’t as good as UIUCs Shawarma Joint, but I still want to come back and try more!“

“This place is delicious. First time having lamb chops, mind you, I'm from Reno nv, came all the way out here to try it. What can I say it was worth the trip. If you're around the area, you should try lamb chops and chicken and rice. Have to stop by. Had to update, came back the next day. I had two more lamb chops and a big plate with their special souce you put all over it, so dame good. You have to try their oreo cheese cake as well. “This was my second business lunch and apart from it being a most beautiful resturant, the food and service lives up to its beauty. Our server, Jose was perfect in decorum as well as response. My AHI Tuna was perfect in all respects and the quality was most evident in its color and texture with a perfect searing. My assocites crab cake was as good as it gets in the Maryland tradition. Can't wait to pick out my fish for a dinner, sometime soon.“
