Delivery order: the food was good, once I got it. The delivery not so much. First, delivery time was stated as 3:15pm. I happened to look out and there was the Potbelly bag on my porch before 3:00. They never rang the doorbell or knocked on my door to let me know! Where is the "delivered" email? If I had not looked out, who knows how long it would have sat there.Second, they placed the paper bag on the wet door mat--all of the concrete around the mat was dry.Third, they placed the bag in front of the door so that it blocked the opening of said door. It should always be assumed that a person with limited mobility may have placed the order. It was difficult to maneuver the door open and not damage the bag's contents.A little common sense consideration please.

I stopped here after a client meeting for a quick lunch and got my receipt because it was needed for my expense report. When I paid my bill, the machine asked for a tip for their team. Everyone wants extra tips now. I gave them a generous $3.00 (a lot for a sandwhich) for their efforts. Unfortunately, when I tried to reconcile my expense report, the amount charged was different than what was on my receipt. The receipt only showed what I paid for my sandwhich. I reached out to the store to get a corrected receipt and got the usual run around. "My manager isn't here. She isn't here, and I don't know when she'll be back... You can try back tomorrow." Well, actually, no, I can't. My expense report is due today and because I don't have a receipt for it, I won't get reimbursed for it. I can no longer eat at Potbelly's because I can't get a correct receipt and employees aren't empowered to help you.

What can I say, it is Potbelly. Great ingredients and options, nicely combine & cooked to order. Staff is pleasant and prompt. Atmosphere could use some live music though

The food was good this a review for the service. The female worker making my sandwich was rude. If she mad at her job maybe she should look else where for work.

Ordered my sub with a little hots. As you can see in the picture they put what looks to be an entire jar on my sub. When I took it back they stood there with a blank stare. Iyah (the manager?) said that’s the normal amount they put on their subs. Again, you can see for yourself there’s more hots than there is chicken salad. They did eventually say they would make me a new sub but when they handed it to me it was a half of a sub. I said that’s not what I ordered and paid for they said well where’s the other half of your sub?? That was the half I literally had to spit out. I told them it was no problem I would just take a refund and I would not returning. She said okay here’s your refund. Never once did anyone say oh, I’m so sorry let me fix this for you. The customer service was nonexistent. What a shame..

Terrible service. I ordered a shake and they filled the cup only half way. When i asked about it the reason was they changed cups, so i have to pay full price for a shake that only fills a little more than half of the cup. Then after we sat down, the cashier forgot to charge us for a can of peppers. I didn't catch it but while we were sitting down and eating she came up to us and said "you didn't pay for the hot peppers" not, i forgot to charge you. Sorry but it's not my fault you messed up, accusing me essentially of that is not ok. Yes i went back to the register and paid, but that is not the point. Terrible service

I stood at the register for two whole minutes without being acknowledged. I was there to pickup an order and only after I mentioned the order did they begin to prepare it. Mind you the due time was already 12 minutes past.I’ll never return. First impression is a lasting impression.

I’ve visited another local Potbelly Sandwich Shop this week and have to say the visit to the Laurel location was just as pleasing! I may just absolutely love the BLTA and managed to snap a quick photo before devouring this heavenly little sandwich. Perfect portions, exquisite flavor and just the right “everything”! Dining inside is spacious and was clean during our visit. Counter service was great and friendly. Love this sandwich shop!

There is one person at this location who makes my favorite salad with love. The ratio of chicken salad and lettuce is always balanced. And the chicken pot pie soup is amazing.

In the interest of time, I'll only touch on the details about how the cashier was going to give me the kids meal for my 21 month old WITHOUT the included water, apple, and cookie I paid for, had I not brought those to her attention. I won't dive too deep into how my "hot"sandwich was cold by the time I sat down to eat it and somehow the cheese was only on half of it.But what I will dive into is how I waited there for 40 extra minutes for mac & cheese for my young son while eating into his afternoon nap, and when I went up to ask if it was ready yet for no less than the 4th time, I was met with a nasty and unnecessary, "nah, it's frozen, what do you expect us to do?" from one of the sandwich makers, while the original cashier spun around to another co-worker and right in front of me laughed about my dilemma.Unfortunately I paid in advance for Potbelly gift cards at Costco, but this experience has me thinking I might just eat that cost and not bother with this chain again after loyally going to Potbelly's for probably close to 15 years now.

Terrible customer service over the phone I placed an online order and somehow it created the same order twice. When I realized I called immediately to let them know I only needed one order and to get the refund of the wrong one. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold for 15 minutes and when she came back to "help" me she told me she had a really long line and didn't have time for me. How rude! I'm paying for their service but anyways she continued to tell me how it was my fault and tried hanging up with me. I asked for a manager to call me to confirm I will get a refund and was just so surprised with how rude the employee and manager was. Mistakes happen I wasn't mad until I received such rude service. Is it really that hard to be nice? The manager called back to tell me and also wasn't very nice. Very sad because we order from that location frequently. Also the food was wrong!!!

My chix salad had no celery, and was dry as a dessert. The quality of my deli meats was poor and I ordered double meats , but got substan- tially less.When I called the store the manager became difficult and defensive. - Beware !!
