If I could make one suggestion it would be to make the seating more intimate. Maybe some sort of partitions to divide up the space for more privacy while eating.”

“Perfection may not be achievable but they are consistently excellent in all aspects. Yesterday I had their chicken piccata. - Portion size was ample without being over the top. I did take some of the pasta home with me so that I didn't feel too stuffed. - Chicken was perfectly done; not dry, well breaded but not overly so, seasoned and browned just right. - Pasta was cooked al dente. - Piccata sauce was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lemon and capers. I'm glad I did not squeeze the lemon garnish over the food because it was perfect without it. - Even the tiny red pepper that was part of the garnish was wonderfully tasty! If you haven't been to Il Piccolo Morso - you are missing out!”

“Olde Town Pub We have always loved The Pub, so since we were getting married down the street, we decided we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner here. The staff gave us the entire outside area on the left. We were catered to, taken care of, and fed with amazing food. The wings are always delicious, the drinks are consistently rotating to try new beers, and the staff is always kind and helpful. You can’t go wrong going here for any reason!”

The service was quick and outstanding as well, all reasonably priced for being a made to order sit down meal.. been several times, it has yet to disappoint us”

“I hate that they close during winter. I found this place online on a fluke and me, my husband and friends go all summer long. I've read prior opinions and every restaurant has a hiccup or bad day from time to time with help or ability to replenish product. It's beautiful there on the water, watching birds dive for fish or sailboats in and out of the cove. The breeze blows as you eat and toast your friends with a great cocktail. I give a ten-plus for this treasure to visit. If you haven't been there, you're doing yourself an injustice. Fitzies, Leonardtown, high five!”

“I attended a silent reading event with a couple of friends. We had a great time! Inside is so cozy, but make sure to bring a jacket because it's cold! Not complaining! I'd much rather be cold and I feel like a lot of businesses end up being too warm, especially when there's a lot of people.

The staff was very friendly. My friends both ordered pizzas and they really enjoyed them. We also shared a small charcuterie board. The fruit was so fresh and sweet, the cheese and crackers were perfect. No complaints.

The vibes here are good, comfortable, and happy. My only complaint is the event we attended wasn't an actual Facebook event, just a post on their page. There were no reminders or anything, so I almost forgot about it! With that being said, I'll definitely be attending more events here. Hopefully they set reminders for them in the future!”

“The Ironwood is the restaurant/pub attached to the Breton Bay Country Club golf course. I'd call it a pub in the sense that it's more of the family and friend meeting place than a country club restaurant. We've been down there for years as they host the community Christmas tree lighting where Santa visits to throw the switch and visit with all of the neighborhood kids. Food is standard pub fare with some more deli style sandwiches and service is perfect. If the Ironwood comes back as an option when you search restaurants, don't ignore it. You'll love, especially in the warmer months, the chance to eat outside with a view of the golfers wasting all of their good swings on the driving range.”

“Again everything was great. The staff looked like they had just witnessed a dog brutally ran over. They moved like molasses in January. Not a smile could be found. The wait was equivalent to bording an Aircraft. 40-50 minutes. The entrance and exit door game is hilarious to watch as the rug that 80% of the people trip over.”

“Everytime I come here (which is often) the staff is so polite and respectful. Even under times of stress when the establishment is packed full. Everyone makes mistakes and when they do they’re quick to apologize and correct it. They handle everything so professionally and with a positive attitude. Everything is served with a smile :)”
