Don't miss Leonardtown's top Mexican restaurants, as recommended by Restaurantji.
“So I’m gonna be honest, when this location used to be KFC/Taco Bell I avoided it due to numerous bad experiences. However, ever since this location was redone to just Taco Bell, I have nothing but great things to say. Ever since it was redone I’ve noticed staff has good attitudes and food is hot and fresh. Was not the case at all in the past. Hopefully it stays this way, if so I will continue being a returning customer.“
“First time here, a coworker recommended it as this is her favorite spot. The one that is south of NAS Patuxent River gate 3 is great. But this one is amazing. They step up to the plate on every single aspect of the restaurant service experience. The food, taste, proportion, and presentation are all top tier. But because of this, it gets packed fast.“
“My wife and I frequently get take out from Plaza Tolteca. The Burrito Jalisco is delicious! My wife loves the vegetarian quesadilla. They're a great option if you need to get some food late, and don't want fast food. They're open until 10pm I believe.Vegetarian options: My wife loves their vegetarian quesadilla.“
“I love fresh ingredients! And you can't get any fresher than at Chipotle's!Vegetarian options: They actually have entrees that are vegetarian and because they make your dish in front of you as you are ordering it, they only put what you ask for in your order.Parking: Their parking lot has somewhere around 40-50 parking spots. And even if they get really busy, there are other restaurants and businesses in close proximity to them that also have parking so getting in is never a problem.“
“My daughter and I stopped in here for dinner after spending some time in Leonardtown for First Fridays. It smelled wonderful when we walked in, and we were greeted and seated right away. We were both impressed with the wide array of menu options. I had a chicken and cucumber salad, which was low carb, but very tasty and filling. My daughter had an enchilada that she really enjoyed. They serve complimentary chips and salsa, too. Best of all were the very reasonable prices. We'd definitely go again and try some different entrées. It would be a great place for large families or groups. They have the seating, and affordable menu items to make it pleasant; and not break the bank.Parking: Front of restaurant. Many available spaces.“
