My niece found this place and now my wife and I go pretty frequently. I'd never heard of putting marshmallow in shaved ice until my sister moved to Essex, I guess it's a regional thing but so good. Jessica's is a typical snowball stand, with several things you can add as well as marshmallow. Just a great summer treat and historic Mount Airy is pretty cool. We are trying other restaurants in the area
I was so excited to find an authentic snowball stand in Frederick County and Jessica's did not disappoint! I bought a small Creamsicle, cotton candy, and ice cream snowball. Soooo delicious and will definitely return again soon!

The snowballs are awesome. Lots of different flavors that can be combined. There are also a lot of toppings to but on to enhance the snowball. Wide range of sizes and affordable. I like the marshmallow fluff they offer on certain days, it is wonderful. There is a little seating area to eat, and plenty of parking in the lot. The snowballs also usually come out fast too!
