My kids and I spent an unusually warm January Friday driving through Damascus on our way back from the Maryland zoo and passed by this ice cream stand right around sunset. They were closing up but they very kindly served us and let us stay even after they closed to finish our ice cream. The ice cream was delicious. It was the perfect way to end the day. Great service and products. Love that there is a park for littles. I haven't gotten a chance to explore but been here a few times and plan on returning. I've purchased seasonal fruits and milk. The milk is delicious.

Best ice cream in the state! Every flavor I've had has been delicious, including the dark chocolate. (I find chocolate ice cream is often chalky but not at Woodbourne.) The you-pick orchard is great, too. It makes for a fun late summer or early fall date.
