This is my third time here & it's always a good time! The vibe and atmosphere is very welcoming. Every server we've had has been amazing. Adriana V and Kimberly G were our servers and just wonderful. The food was amazing as usually. I had the birria quesotacos and their mac & queso this day. I've also had the Roasted Chicken Enchilada and of course their guacamole (spicy). You won't regret coming here :) Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

The main pluses of visiting this establishment are the ambiance, service, and potentially innovative dishes that are fusion-y and trendy enough while still adhering a Mexican root. The latter is a difficult proposition that is often expressed by restaurants, but rarely manifestly espoused. While quality of ingredients and presentation are a positive in their favor, having dined here many times over the years (as well as at the Pentagon City location before it closed), I cannot say consistency and quality of execution are among their strong suits. Food varies from between a 2.25 to a 3.75 at best. Though my 3.75 may have a higher bar than many others', I want to reiterate that is the highest score I have ever tendered, on their best day, for their best dish; and that number was only reached twice out of six visits. With that said, it would be a good spot for grabbing a drink or hanging out but I can't offer much enthusiasm when it comes to hanging out in or around National Harbor. With that said, I will likely find my way back here and there as I place a hefty weight on innovation and difference; more so while maintaining true to a premise. Where else will you find duck mole enchiladas and duck carnita tacos, or birria quesatacos, for that matter? Likewise, be sure to check out their daily specials and happy hours.

Dined here yesterday.. food was great but horrible attitude and service at the bar from Ashley. I've been here before and experienced the same attitude from her.. absolutely ridiculous.

The service and food was great... I was charged twice. Called immediately, was told it was a corporate accounting issue and I would receive a call back; is been weeks. It's only 98 dollars, but if done enough daily, someone is getting rich.

Rosa Mexicano over delivered and felt like a bargain. The bartender and staff were fun and friendly. Free chips and salsa. They reminded me it was $5 Margarita Monday. Music playing was a good mix! Everything was delicious and filling.

Had several of the house special margaritas and they were all banging! The ceviche was tasty too and the trio of enchiladas I had was awesome. Ask for the house-made hot sauce if you can handle 5-alarm level heat. Super tasty!!!

First things first, food is delicious. The salsa is great! The service is excellent. Access to a table, i.e., how easy it is to get in, is difficult, but that is part of good restaurants. The music selection is great although, and as in many restaurants, it is muffled by the constant screeching sound of people talking which can be very loud. I am not sure if they should work on the acoustics but I think it can be better. The men's restroom needs better attention during peak hours. I found it very slippery, and the soap dispensers were all off the wall in canisters. Overall, it is a nice place to eat for any ocassion.

We ordered the tableside prepared guacamole and it was wonderful. My entree was the chicken enchiladas and they were awful. My granddaughter ordered the steak and the sauce that it was covered in seemed watered down. I would not recommend and I would not go back.

We got seated on-time to our reservation. Great views of the harbor, the ambience was nice, food was great, but the table service was slightly sub-par. Items were missing from the appetizer order and we had to remind the waiter about it when dinner came out. The waiter was super nice though. It was very busy and likely the reason for the miss.

I'm really disappointed with this location. The menu has been changed dramatically- and frankly dumbed down to essentially tacos and fajitas. I'm sure the menus at the other locations are more robust. The entire experience is just not what you get from other locations. I will not be patronizing again.

I was in the area and became hungry. After scouring the internet trying to figure out where i would eat, i settled on Rosa Mexicano. Service: though it was a beautiful day, i was told that the wait would be long for a table outside as there was only one server working outside, so i opted to sit at the bar, which still had good light coming in and was inviting. Bar staff were attentive. Drink: they have a N.A. beer, corona. So that was fun as i try to limit my alcohol intake. Food: Chips and salsa are complimentary. For my meal i got the fish tacos. This dish was $17. I got 3 VERY small fish tacos with a very small piece of fish in each, a slaw, and just a touch of sauce (that was actually very good) on each. The corn tortilla hadn't been cooked so began to fall apart from the moisture from the slaw. I didn't even finish the tacos as they truly were underwhelming. Other: that's the only dish i tried, so i hope the other dishes are much better, but i don't know if I'll go back to find out.

Got in just as they opened for lunch on Thursday. First person seated. Service was great. Food was good, but I don't believe that what I got was worth the price. Food portion vs. cost. They do not validate parking tickets and there was no lunch menu or specials.

Worst dinner we have ever had with our toddler. We had a reservation for 8:00PM and they gave us our table at 8:40pm. Waiting 40 minutes with a hungry toddler was insane and they not even said sorry or gave us something to compensate the time. The restaurant was extremely crowded they didn't had the conditions to keep accepting more reservations. We could have gone to another place if they would have been honest in terms of capacity and reservations. Besides that awful experience, the food was not good, as they were crowded service was not good. We order a guacamole to the table the server didn't add salt or lemon and gave it to us to we do it ourselves. We have been there before and we know that's not the standard service for this restaurant and their prices. Besides, I ordered a lemonade never arrived. My kid food arrive but no spoons or anything. We ordered a cheese after an extra wait of 20 minutes they bring it wrong. We cannot wait longer because of our toddler and we ended up just having the guacamole and an incomplete toddler food because the drink and the dessert never arrived.

Although reservation was made for 6:30pm, I was not seated until 7pm. A lot of people waiting to be seated, restaurant appeared to be full. Margarita ordered was weak. Food was tasty. I will not return on the weekend.
