Melissa is our go to waitress, absolutely love her patience, kindness, attention, and professionalism. It's really nice that they revise their menu a little to match the season!“

“Came in with a group of around 45 coworkers and the bartenders were excellent. They were very accommodating to our large party even though it was unexpected. “I went there to celebrate my bday and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The restaurant was gracious enough to give me and my party the private room. We got there 30 minutes before the brunch buffet ended but the staff was very accommodating to make sure we got what we needed before it closed. It’s unfortunate that the bottomless mimosas are only included in the buffet, but it was good! They even gave me some swag for my birthday and a big ole ice cream Sunday to top it off! Over all everything was good from the drinks to the food! I plan to return in the future.“

“I love love LOVE Summer House! I've been here a couple of times and eaten both inside and outside and it is always lovely. The food is always good and the menu has a nice variety so something for everyone! Plus they have the yummiest cookies that are a must-have dessert! Usually busy so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time! Plus parking in the area can be a little tricky so give yourself a few extra minutes to secure parking.“

“Unconventional dinner has amazing food and such a wide variety to choose from.One of my favourite ones is their chicken and waffles. However this is not your regular chicken and waffles. They are corn bread chicken and waffles, with a sweet and spicy sauce.But that’s not all, their salads are amazing also. Great ambiance, and amicable staff.“

“When indecisive, go for the chefs table which includes all of the apps but also an extra tasting per course. Aside from the food which was near perfect, the ambiance is very unique outside dining in a semi enclosed courtyard, railyard bar, and dining in a lodge-like room with fireplace. Some of my favorite dishes were the veggies, surprising because I'm more of a meat eater. Cocktails were excellent but do ask the bartender since not all liquor is documented. “Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!“

“Loved dining at Nina May’s for Easter Brunch! Made the reservation quite last minute but we were still able to snag a table for two at one of D.C’s best restaurants! We were also late on our res. due to easter traffic and finding parking around the place but the host was very accommodating and nice. We got the chef’s choice and everything was amazing! Super fresh and the flavors all worked really well together. I also got the cucumber mocktail which was really good! Our server was attentive and really went the extra mile to fix a small mishap (we got to try the amazing carrot cake, on the house!!! it was splendid!!!!). Will definitely be back since they have a seasonal menuParking: Parking is quite limited as most of the streets surrounding this restaurant are restricted/limited to zone/permit holders which seems to be a theme in D.C. Be aware and plan to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier so you have time to look without getting late. Though a host did mention there is a grocery store nearby that you could park at though!“

“A friend of mine took us here for a late dinner lastmonth since they told us it was great. They weren’t wrong, our experience was great!We came at around 8 PM on a Friday and they were a little busy but we got a table. Our server was super friendly. We started with the calamari as an appetizer which was tasty!As my entree, I got the Margarita Flatbread. Overall it was good! The toppings were tasty and it was cooked perfectly.Overall, if you’re in the Foggy Bottom area of DC, Circa is a good spot! I’ll be back.“

“Had dinner on a Saturday night - party of 4. A plus service and food. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Very helpful in wine selections within certain price points (and the recommendations were fantastic). But the FOOD!!! there was a special lobster appetizer that was phenomenal. For the regular menu the little gem salad was large and refreshing. I had the root vegetable soup and it was also great. For mains we had the tuna, pasta and steak. There wasn't a bad choice in the bunch. Highly recommend this for an elegant night out. All in we were at 150 per person (and that was with plenty of wine). The price was a bargain for the experience. GO!!!“

“I love this neighborhood gem or a bar/restaurant. Great vibes and elevated food. My only suggestion is to take the Triple H sandwich off the menu. There's no honey flavoring and for a person that loves Nashville Hot Chicken this was incredibly hot to the point of being nauseating. Unless there's some insane hot chicken eating contest this is not for regular human consumption.“

“Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

“Idlywood is a favorite spot for dinner. The service is excellent, with a good selection of wines and an atmosphere that permits conversation at normal speaking levels. We tried a couple of new dishes as well as a favorite appetizer (shrimp ajo) and salmon Caesar. We haven't been disappointed in any of the salmon selections. The branzino is also a favorite. The chicken parmesan, a new item , was especially good. Highly recommended.“

“We tried Harth last night and are glad we did. It's in the lobby of the McLean Hilton so it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking. It was not very busy on a Friday night, unlike every other restaurant in Tysons which are overrun with guests. My guess is it's because few people are aware of its existence....and that's what makes it nice (I prefer peace and quiet to crowds when dining). It's a great spot for a date night. The ambiance is wonderful, the service is top notch, the food presentation is stellar, and it was all very tasteful..no need for salt/pepper/condiments. “They have rebranded the restaurant as "Glenwood's". If you want to compare it to an existing chain, think Copper Canyon, as they are under the same corporate umbrella. This was my first visit here and I wasn't disappointed. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is on the subdued side, even though most of the window views are of Wootton Parkway. The food was very good. The jumbo lump crab cakes were filling and meaty. I enjoyed their cocktails as well; just the right mixture. Highly recommended!“

“I’ve never heard of this place until today and glad I came. My friends and I tried their burger and it was probably one of the most flavorful burgers I’ve had. Presentation looks like a simple burger but the taste is outstanding. They nailed the beef done medium, their house sauce is balanced, and their bun was great. Their fries were also very crisp and done right. I ordered another burger to-go since it was so good. I’ll be coming back to try the other things on their menu. The owners were also very kind which made the overall experience a good one.“
