“Amazing food and atmosphere”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ my boyfriend has been having some medical problems with his stomach and recently just got out of the hospital and has been unable to eat. His stepfather has been buying him your chicken noodle soup and that’s the only thing that he’s been able to keep down plus he loves it. If it wasn’t for your soup, we probably would’ve been headed back to the hospital. Dave Insley is his stepfather.”

“My husband and I are locals and frequent Dutch’s At Silver Tree often. We have traveled many places near and far and always say Dutch’s has the best seafood ever. We have never had a bad meal. Food is always hot, fresh, and delicious every time. It is on the pricy side but totally worth every penny. Their creative appetizer nights and Wednesday specials make it affordable for those not wanting to spend the extra money. We do miss their seafood buffet Fridays. That was always our favorite. Wish that would come back. You can’t visit Deep Creek without dining at Dutch’s at Silver Tree 🥰”

“I was working in the area and the customer provided their barbecued chicken lunch and I cannot remember eating better chicken EVER! Lunch came with the entire left side of the chicken baked beans and Mac and cheese. I thought there was no way I could eat all of the chicken but I did along with the baked beans which were in my top 3, didn’t make it to the Mac but it looked good. Will probably eat there again tomorrow for lunch.”

“My new favorite place to eat! Whether you're at the Lake or in Oakland the food here is Worth the trip!! I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, my husband got the Smash Burger and our daughter got the Mac and Cheese, we also tried the crabby hushpuppies and fresh cut fries. Everything was soooo delicious! The service was great, the staff is so friendly and the food was hot and prepared perfectly! 🤤🤤🤤 The crab hushpuppies are a must for sure!!!”

“Stopped in for brunch on Sunday morning. Service was excellent, we were seated and served quickly even though it was packed. We got pancakes and two burgers, the patties were really well seasoned and the fries were super crispy. Everything was delicious, I'd definitely recommend!!”

“We hired Jean and the crew at Traders Coffee to provide breakfast for 100 over two days at a local resort. We were not disappointed! Jean made sure that it all ran very smoothly, the variety of items, the freshness, the taste...all fantastic. My employees had nothing but great things to say about it and after the first day were so happy to learn she would be back with more goodies the following morning. Do yourself a favor and stop by, order catering, do takeout but don't miss this place. Say hello to Jean from the group at Everest!”

“Wonderful place for a freshly made treat to go with your coffee or latte. I really enjoy the cortado and my wife enjoys an iced latte. And the treats are always delicious. A perfect place to go on its own or to enjoy before going to Nola’s Salon or Affinity Wellness Center.”

“We had a group of 8 for a lovely tea yesterday afternoon. The table was set so beautifully! The scones were heavenly and all the sandwiches and desserts were so delicious! Customer service was excellent and the wild flowers were so beautiful! Will definitely be back on our next vacation! “We stop every time we come thru the Oakland area because the food is always great. The staff is always extremely nice & kind, today as the lady was handing our food out thru the drive thru window we could hear a man behind her whistling as he worked which means happy employees & happy employees are hard to find nowadays. “Outstanding food and marvelous service. So glad we discovered that this place was open. We hadn’t been there since it was originally the Cornish Manor. We travel from Canaan Valley to shop in Oakland and this was a delightful spot to finish our trip!”

“I order take-out and delivery pretty often and have sat down in-store to eat on occasion. The food is hot and fresh and is typically ready to serve fairly fast. Delivery can take a while on high volume days as they are one of two pizza locations that deliver in the area, but they are upfront on the wait time and have, from time to time, received my delivery well before the estimated 40 minutes. Staff is typically polite and pleasant to speak with.

Parking: Parking is a little awkward, but as there typically isn't much long- staying business in the building, there's usually plenty of space.”

“1st time I stayed here. It couldn't have been nicer! Rooms were extremely clean and looked newly renovated. The owner (miss kitty) was so nice. Food at the saloon was very good and service was fantastic. Will definitely be returning in the future.”

“We had a great meal here. Three of us shared a deep dish uno pizza. It was tasty a good size for us. If all three people were big eaters I’d recommend a large. I love deep dish pizza but it’s hard to find done right and it was here. I had tiramisu for dessert and it was excellent.

The staff was all friendly and our server was efficient. Luckily we were there for lunch and it was kind of slow so they were seating everyone with a view of the lake. We also walked out back after to take it all in up close which was nice. It was a great experience and we will for sure be back. We drive through the area a couple times a year.”
