The processed chicken tenders were horrible. The baked potatoes were cold. The service was good. Not sure what changed from the last time I was there. I will not be returning.

Expensive food. Slow service. Forgetful service. Over priced. Would not come back

Will make a mistake and charge you for it. Enjoyed the scenery and sand of the restaurant but came here two different days and had an issue both times. The first time the watermelon mojito was nasty (fake flavor) and they wouldn't sub it out. When we went there for dinner again the next day we received a menu item we hadn't ordered - and were charged for it! Escalated it politely to the manager, but were still charged for it and told "there was nothing they could do," event though we sent the food back. I recommend eating at Macky's instead- friendlier, better service, better food!

Food was excellent and also loved the atmosphere and being able to look out into the bay. My boys loved the area

Maryland had recently opened 100% up, but I was glad thet their employees still wore masks. The setting is nice right on the water. It was crowded, but you could still find places where you could socially distance if you wanted to . Many customers wore masks, but too mny of them didn't when they were not eating or drinking for my taste...but that is not on the resteraunt. The drinks were a bit too strong for my taste, but some people do like a stiff drink. We both had platters with a good sampling of food. We both enjoyed it.

Let me start by saying we went for lunch there two days in a row, we liked it that much! Try the conch fritters, they blew us away! The servers are attentive, even though that place was hopping! Highly recommend!

Food is mediocre and overpriced. Had the Thai shrimp appetizer which was just fried shrimp with a bit of sauce. They were the best thing I ate. Fish tacos were just ok and the $9 kids meal is a joke for what they’re given. It was supposed to come with juice and even after asking for it, no one ever brought it. The playground was the only saving grace. The kids loved it.

Awesome spot for lunch amd drinks! The outside area was great to watch the kids on the play ground. The food is amazing! Ahi tacos were perfectly cooked and the sauce was balanced. The grouper sandwich was flakey and light.

I have been frequenting OC lately and lucky to have the opportunity to spend time there. Fish Tales is close to where we've been staying and we walked by one day to scope it out as a potential spot to bring the dogs. Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk but this only works if you are in the bar area, meaning you self serve at the bar, or if you get a table in the sandy area adjacent to the boardwalk in which you can have your dog near you but on the other side of the fence divider. This is not good when crowded so I made the right call leaving them at home this visit. Good thing I placed a few calls to ask questions about the set up in advance. It was the weekend of Cruisin' OC car event and it is loud on the streets and crowded everywhere. You would not know that we are still in a pandemic. The mask mandates have been removed and you would guess everyone had been vaccinated from the high numbers without masks. I am not judging but want to mention this in case you are not comfortable being out and around people without masks. Fortunately we have all been fully vaccinated. I am happy I came in terms of the food and atmosphere. It really was nice to eat out and be waited on. It was nice to sit in the sun. A funny thing was running into a neighbor from back home. We had not eaten lunch and were famished. We arrived just after 5pm on a Friday night and it took about 35 minute wait for a table. They have a great system that will text you when the table is ready. In hindsight, I totally would have been okay with getting food and drink from the bar and eating on the boardwalk. The Adirondack chairs were actually very comfortable. Again, since we were famished, we already knew what we wanted to order. When the server came, I just ordered everything and told her to bring things out whenever ready. My daughter had the Big Fish cocktail and I had an Orange Crush for which my daughter called me basic : ) My husband got the frozen strawberry lemonade. All were terrific. For appetizers we got some fried calamari and steamed shrimp. Yum. Then we all wanted the Ahi tacos but my daughter and I also wanted to try the Hawaiian BLT so we decided to share those two dishes. Best decision ever! Good thing the napkin dispenser is right on the table because it was super messy. There is a kids playground and also a bait and tackle shop and rentals from the marina. I have also seen their tiki bar boats out on the bay so I really hope to try that another time.

Food was pretty good, but portion sizes for what we got seemed small considering the prices (we ended up ordering a pizza to our hotel room later), and prices were high even among the often ridiculous prices of OC restaurants. You are paying for the atmosphere and view...the atmosphere is great, nice view of the bay, nice play area for kids. Overall a nice time. Service wasn't great but it was busy (Crusin' weekend) and I'm guessing they haven't seen big crowds for a while so I can give them a pass on that.

Came here per the raving reviews online. Took a while to get seated, and the drinks were watered down/overpriced. The view of the bay at sunset was nice, and the sweet agave rooster wings were delicious. Really good meat.

AS FAR AS THE CUSOMER SERVICE & DIGUESTING FOOD! I wish I could give this place a 0! Served me a warm chicken creaser salad and wouldn't return it! Flies keep flying all around on the food and drinks, so unsanitary I do not recommend ANYONE EATING HERE! Rude waitress and management telling me to "DEAL WITH IT" called the police because I complained and asked to take it back!

I (use to) come here all of the time late at night. I thought this would be a good place to take my family. But after two hours burning in the sun, my food showed up after I told my server I was leaving. I know Fish Tales won't care, because I am just one customer. Kids got McFurries in minutes.

Used to love this place. Still a great atmosphere but the menu has suffered badly. Very restrictive choices. No more barbecued ribs or chicken and the couple platters they have are very over priced.
