Route 66 Diner OCMD is a recently opened diner with some growing pains. The food was fine, but nothing extraordinary, and a little expensive. The Shrimp & Grits were a hit or miss, while the Smash Burger Tacos were excellent. The Gouda Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup was enjoyable, but the soup could be creamier. The service was fast, and the portions were huge. The 50's style diner feel adds to the charm of the place. Despite some issues with the food, the overall experience was decent, and the restaurant shows promise. Give it a try and form your own opinion.
