“The Ocean City AARP held its 2023 Christmas Party at this lovely venue. As the comments from the membership come back, OPYC receives high praise for food, service and atmosphere.The atmosphere is nothing short of beautiful. The room is large, bright and airy. The best is the wonderful water views through large windows. It's such a pretty space no additional decoration is needed beyond, perhaps, table centerpieces. We chose poinsettias. Boom, done! The space as a whole is well laid out with respect to the bar, dining area, buffet lines, restroom and coat storage, etc.Banquet manager Lia knows her business. She helped make menu selection which was a complete hit with the group. She helped work our schedule for the party so it flowed smoothly.The staff was very good, too. Their attention to detail in set up is remarkable; you won't find water marks on your table service. They are efficient and unobtrusive.Our food was was very fresh and delicious. Appetizers included beautiful presentations of cheeses, fruit and vegetables along with passed spring rolls and meatballs. We chose a buffet hot lunch, which we call "Linner" and it included flank steak, salmon and crab cake. The steak and salmon were moist and tasty in light sauces. Since we're local we tend to be snobs about crab cakes and these were a crowd pleaser, very fresh tasting and nicely seasoned.On behalf of the party planning committee, I'd like to thank the Ocean Pines Yacht Club staff for making our party a successful celebration!!“

“The food, the drinks, the friendliness towards dogs! We love coming here whenever we are in the area. They do allow dogs outside and offer great care in the process. They offer free water for the dogs and will even bring you a plate of bacon! The food is always excellent and the drinks are strong!“

“This place is a great place to visit for a good drink, especially frozen drinks. Their special shot called Love Juice is so good, they make it with all natural ingredients and fresh fruits. They also have bucket drinks that are a great addition. I’ve never had the food here, despite visiting here a couple times in the past few years but I’d trust it’d be decent bar/snack food to hold you over. Staff has always been very nice and accommodating.“

“I knew this place was going to be good when they told me the wait. For it to be off season and the place be this packed I knew we were in for a treat.There were two open seats at the bar so we were able to be seated immediately. I had the Spritzer for myself. A strong choice for a morning beverage.We tried the crab deviled eggs from the specials and what a hit. Smooth texture and good amount of crab.I ordered the big wave with grits and sausage. Delicious. I’m always nervous about my pancakes and grits but they came out great. Pancakes were fluffy and the grits were cooked very well.My friend ordered the crab imperial omelette which they loved.All in all, service was good. Food was great and the drinks were strong. I will be back during the summer.“

“Fast and courteous service, I saw some reviews about the Fish and Chips, the server recommended the other items first but then said that was a good choice too. I went with that and it was good. Except one thing, the fish was left in the fryer a tad longer than needed, both ends of the piece were overdone, as it is thinner. The middle was great but I would rather the whole piece be good. Plenty of fries, cole slaw was good too.“

“After stumbling out of a nearby establishment leaving because of bad service. We looked up places for an afternoon beer and food. Found this amazing establishment, walked up the stairs and into the bar and instantly felt at home. Whole staff was topnotch instantly made you feel welcome. If I'm ever staying nearby again in OC, will definitely comeback!“

“We were here on Sunday around 4pm. The place was half full and they also have tables outside that were full. They didn't have soft drinks on the menu, but we asked and a nice girl brought us pink lemonade. She also said that they have soda. I got The Patty Melted burger and my boyfriend got The Cowboy Burger. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this place.“

“True Score: 4.25 Stars Might be the best bar in Ocean City Harbor Inn is the very picture of a "hole-in-the-wall" bar. Located on the bayside of Somerset Street, it's easy to miss if passed by on a night when jukebox tunes aren't emanating from the inside, although that isn't very often. This is a must stop if you're in Ocean City if you're a bar person like myself. Thanks“

“Good food at a fair price for Ocean City.The atmosphere got four stars because I thought it was kind of noisy.My wife and I had the tacos she got fish and I got beef and they were very good. Weber with a large party but didn't have to wait long to get in.“

“A group of 6 of us had dinner here this weekend and very much enjoyed it. We ordered the garlic shrimp appetizer, steak skewers, the Star salad, crab cakes, the scallop bacon corn soup, and cream of crab soup. Everything was excellent. Our server was very attentive as well. We were told this was a fairly new chef so if you've been before, the menu has changed, they have specials, and it's really good food for a good price too. Also, they have a fireplace, lots of windows, vaulted ceilings, water and a pretty view. It's a small place so I recommend reservations.“

“We had not been here in many years. The place has gotten even nicer than I remember. They have a very nice roomy outside and inside bar with plenty of seats. But get there early as they pack them in, even in the off season. The drinks are reasonably prices and food was awesome.“

“My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“

“Great local people, great live music, bartenders are fabulous.... many pool tables and alot of locals are fantastic at pool. Every time we go here we meet new people and have a great time. “We got hooked on this place when we bought our vacation home in West OC and were doing renovations...we got Uber Eats to deliver from here repeatedly while working on our house and everything was to die for. We finally decided to go check the place out and dine in, and what a surprise! I wouldn't say Chinese restaurants are typically beautiful but this one is! Very clean with tasteful decor, their staff is always so kind and helpful. Everything we've ever gotten here is amazing. The plates look like a work of art when delivered to your table, the extra touches are sweet! Highly recommended visiting here, definitely dine in for the lovely atmosphere.“

“This place was much needed, took a weekend trip with some buddies and decided to do a bar crawl while the wives and kids were home. We ended up coming back to the Beaded Clam after hitting some of the others... for the bartender (I believe it was Chip) and the atmosphere. We hit a bunch of bars and found this to be the most fun. Couldn't help but feeling like home with Eagles things all over. Talked with some of the other staff everyone was great! As a club (Redneck Yacht Club) we always look for venues to make repeats on future trips. This will 100% be a must stop every time we are anywhere close to OCMD. We ended up doing 4 or 5 rounds here and it averaged 35-40 a round with bottled beer and some shots which isn't bad for the placement of the bar. Its super close to the board walk and hotels. Great spot if you want to feel like you're at your local bar with friends. Highly recommend it. They have a great sticker too. Make sure you Tip Chip! He's awesome!“

“Our third time there - always great! Our server Monica was terrific. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was a bit expensive but was great! I had two oyster shooters, my wife had a cherry lime aid crush - excellent. I had the scallops and my wife had braised short ribs. All cooked perfectly. We were given a nice choice of tables on the bay. Wife had the mud slide cake for dessert. Very yummy. Hard to find solid places to eat in OC. This one has held up quite well. Will be back again!“

“Great place for food and drink on a Saturday afternoon in December. Brandi makes superb Makers Mark old fashions. Bonus Saturday, the oyster guy was there and we enjoyed fresh caught oysters for a reasonable price! We'll be coming back for sure - thank you.“

“The best pit beef sandwich ever ! The French onion soup is delicious , cheesy , broth is rich ., My favorite soup is the clam chowder . I hope they have the clam chowder soup all year . . Only negative the restaurant could use an update .“

“Julie was the perfect level of attentive and fun. Never got to half on a beverage. The Champagne Supernova cocktail was delicious. Octopus was cooked perfectly, which commonly gets murdered at most restaurants. The Scampi was perfect. Not some heavy cream based slop like America is used to. The Asparagus Puree Soup was another delicious option. This is definitely somewhere we will come back to next vacation.“

“Wanted to try Anthony's hoagies and finally got a chance to. We ate at the bar and had a beer on tap. Great selection. For lunch I had the Nautilus . Excellent hoagie fresh baked rolls , similar to Philly and South Jersey. Friendly staff and our bartender she was great. I highly recommend to get the OCMD experience.“

“First time for us at Mio Fratello. We dined with friends who have been there numerous times. I chose to try their linguini and clam sauce. I make that dish as well. So I wanted to compare. “What a fantastic place. A Bethany institution, no less. I don’t even know where to begin celebrating this place. It’s unpretentious, honest, authentic, genuine, well-priced. It’s the only of maybe two places in Bethany that you will find with regular locals. The owner, John, is the Man! One of the nicest guys on the shore. The portions are huge and the price has changed maybe once in the past few years. You won’t find a heartier, more honest place in the area.“

Also, bathrooms are so clean!Parking: Easy to find a spot, wheelchair accessible too.Kid-friendliness: Great food options for kids. Even though ours only wants the fries from here, that should say a lot because he is a fry connoisseur.“

“We have eaten at Embers before but wanted to come back for restaurant week. All of the staff are very nice...from the person that greets you and seats you to the waiter and the sommelier. Tanner and the sommelier (can't recall his name) were excellent!! The food was excellent!! The views/vibe are amazing. We will continue to spread the word about Embers. It has become an absolute must do when we are in OC (we travel at least 6x a year from OH). Thank you for the excellent service and experience.“

“We had an outstanding experience at The Reel Inn! We’ve been coming here for years, but this year the food has been absolutely outstanding! Such a difference! We’ve been coming back more often, because the service is outstanding, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! I’ve been getting the crabcake with shrimp and it is now my go to. The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.“

“The Blacksmith Restaurant in Berlin, MD, offers a fantastic atmosphere paired with delightful drinks. I highly recommend the grapefruit Paloma—it's a must-try! The attentive service enhances the dining experience, and the pork belly bao bun is simply delicious. While the shrimp po' boy was pretty good, the fish and chips fell short as the fish lacked seasoning. Overall, a great spot.“
