“The Ocean City AARP held its 2023 Christmas Party at this lovely venue. As the comments from the membership come back, OPYC receives high praise for food, service and atmosphere.The atmosphere is nothing short of beautiful. The room is large, bright and airy. The best is the wonderful water views through large windows. It's such a pretty space no additional decoration is needed beyond, perhaps, table centerpieces. We chose poinsettias. Boom, done! The space as a whole is well laid out with respect to the bar, dining area, buffet lines, restroom and coat storage, etc.Banquet manager Lia knows her business. She helped make menu selection which was a complete hit with the group. She helped work our schedule for the party so it flowed smoothly.The staff was very good, too. Their attention to detail in set up is remarkable; you won't find water marks on your table service. They are efficient and unobtrusive.Our food was was very fresh and delicious. Appetizers included beautiful presentations of cheeses, fruit and vegetables along with passed spring rolls and meatballs. We chose a buffet hot lunch, which we call "Linner" and it included flank steak, salmon and crab cake. The steak and salmon were moist and tasty in light sauces. Since we're local we tend to be snobs about crab cakes and these were a crowd pleaser, very fresh tasting and nicely seasoned.On behalf of the party planning committee, I'd like to thank the Ocean Pines Yacht Club staff for making our party a successful celebration!!“

“We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“

“Fine Dining At The Beach!The combination of the food, service and atmosphere make for a great dining experience. Every table has a great view of the bay and sunset. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy evening we visited. Our server Taylor was fantastic, great knowledge of the menu and upbeat and friendly. We had great service even with a fully packed restaurant on an offseason Wednesday night. The food was fantastic, perfectly seasoned and exactly as ordered. A great place for a special occasion or very nice evening out.“

“A very unique restaurant with excellent food. A restaurant in a shopping center in the middle of a liquor store. Very large portions for the price. My wife ordered off the 2 for $15 lunch menu. I was skeptical based on the price but was pleasantly surprised. My appetizer and entree were both excellent with great flavor. Service was attentive without being intrusive. A nice spot for a casual lunch.“

“I was immediately drawn in by the bright pink decor inside and out, but it was the food that really sold me on this place. The menu is huge, which does make it hard to choose which delicious thing to go for. I love that they encourage sharing food as the portions are ginormous, which definitely helped me feel better about the higher price we paid for breakfast. From the simple strawberries and cream crepe my child got to the delicious Bonne Femme omelet (with a small crepe as a side!), every meal was a hit here, and I want to come back and enjoy some of their specialty drinks as they looked pretty amazing.Kid-friendliness: I appreciated that the waitress let us know about how big the portions would be ahead of time so that the two kids could share. The kids were absolutely fascinated by the beautiful restaurant.“

“The food, the drinks, the friendliness towards dogs! We love coming here whenever we are in the area. They do allow dogs outside and offer great care in the process. They offer free water for the dogs and will even bring you a plate of bacon! The food is always excellent and the drinks are strong!“

“I knew this place was going to be good when they told me the wait. For it to be off season and the place be this packed I knew we were in for a treat.There were two open seats at the bar so we were able to be seated immediately. I had the Spritzer for myself. A strong choice for a morning beverage.We tried the crab deviled eggs from the specials and what a hit. Smooth texture and good amount of crab.I ordered the big wave with grits and sausage. Delicious. I’m always nervous about my pancakes and grits but they came out great. Pancakes were fluffy and the grits were cooked very well.My friend ordered the crab imperial omelette which they loved.All in all, service was good. Food was great and the drinks were strong. I will be back during the summer.“

“Sunset Grille has an inviting marina side atmosphere. There is an expansive deck for outside dining. The staff is very attentive. My group ordered various crab appetizers... The crab dip is amazing, as is the cream of crab soup. The sauce on the crab imperial was broken, so it was more oily than creamy. The toasted ciabatta that accompanied the aps was warm and toasty. We ordered crab cake sandwiches. They were fine but not as good as some of the other local places in the area. The French fries are some of the best I've had. Super crisp outside and creamy inside. The pricing was what you would expect for fresh crab at the beginning of the season. The portions are generously sharable.Parking: Parking is just outside the front entrance. The lot is clean, landscapeed, and well maintained. There are plenty of spaces with numerous handicapped spaces.“

“It was absolutely wonderful! Reagan (I hope I spelled her name right - the bartender) was GREAT. She was friendly, answered all our questions, recommended drinks, etc ... Everyone was just terrific. The food (ceviche, wings and bread pudding) were great. We are already planning to come back next year about this time for vacation. If we can, we will come back sooner. Can't wait!“

“My wife and I shared a pizza and wings. It was the perfect amount of food. The uncle Joe pizza was just fantastic, the pizza sauce and the meatballs had great flavor and highly recommended. “We vacationed just next door to this little gem and walked over every night of our vacation! The front window was always very helpful and happy to answer questions about the menu. We met up with friends here who have gluten sensitivities and they were so excited to have a number of options on the menu! I tried something new every night and I can tell you, there is no bad combo. We were also so thrilled when we were offered pup cups for our two dogs! On weekend nights, the line can get long but it moves quickly and the end result is well worth it. Hoping to make this another of our "musts" each time we come to Ocean City!“

“Ordered takeout here on a rainy Wednesday. Online ordering was straightforward and pick up was convenient (reserved spot right in front and a pick up window on the deck). Food was good, but nothing spectacular imo. The greens were my favorite part of the meal. Mac and cheese could have used some more flavor. I would try again dining in because sometimes that's a better experience.“

“Finally stopped at the Alaska Stand for the first time last week. Very glad we did. My wife said the funnel cake was the best she's ever had, my double cheeseburger was the juiciest, tastiest burger I've eaten in a long time, maybe ever, and the fries were perfect. I understand why they were voted Best Boardwalk Stand 2023. I look forward to eating here again on future trips to OCMD. Thanks very much! Well done!“

“Great halal food! We tried this restaurant twice during our stay in OC. We got the mixed grill and chicken shawarma wrap. Both were very good! The wrap is well seasoned, and their white sauce is tasty. The rice is less seasoned, and the kababs were so good. Will visit again for sure!“

“Fast and courteous service, I saw some reviews about the Fish and Chips, the server recommended the other items first but then said that was a good choice too. I went with that and it was good. Except one thing, the fish was left in the fryer a tad longer than needed, both ends of the piece were overdone, as it is thinner. The middle was great but I would rather the whole piece be good. Plenty of fries, cole slaw was good too.“

“We recently took a trip to Ocean city and visited Taphouse! We had lauren B as our sever. She was super kind, answered all of our questions, provided recommendations, and discussed the surrounding area with us! The restaurant itself was very peaceful, and clean!“

“We were here on Sunday around 4pm. The place was half full and they also have tables outside that were full. They didn't have soft drinks on the menu, but we asked and a nice girl brought us pink lemonade. She also said that they have soda. I got The Patty Melted burger and my boyfriend got The Cowboy Burger. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this place.“

We came back to OC, Maryland for our 10th Anniversary and they welcomed us with a few free beers and a couple of Fast Eddies T-Shirts. “Breakfast at Surfside Rooster gives your tastebuds a treat. Warning, the cinnamon rolls are amazing – and big. It is hard to cut it in half to take some home, because you’ll keep sneaking bites : ) Karri was a wonderful server and knows the menu. She steered me towards the Nashville Hot Stuffed French Toast. I do not usually like French Toast, but this was incredible. Of course, covering perfectly cooked brioche French toast slices with Nashville Hot-sauced, tender, crispy chicken; stuffing it with cooked apples; then finishing it with a bourbon house-made whipped cream can be nothing else, but incredible. It is also one of the best chicken anything I have eaten. After eating breakfast at the Bad Monkey the day before, I was so pleased to find Surfside Rooster. I can not wait to come back to Ocean City, so I can try some of the other dishes here.“

“Lizzie's really came through for us. We looked for a lunch location and she was open. When we walked in we were greeted instantly. Ordering was all on us. We used an app/website to order our food. I'm not sure how I really feel about that. It could be a way to help with the possible communication barrier. The staff was so kind, and our food came out pretty quick. It was a tad pricy. Everything tasted great. We definitely ear marked this location for the future.“

“We had not been here in many years. The place has gotten even nicer than I remember. They have a very nice roomy outside and inside bar with plenty of seats. But get there early as they pack them in, even in the off season. The drinks are reasonably prices and food was awesome.“

“Cafe Mirage is a little hole in the wall place. It is in the corner of a small strip mall right off Coastal Highway in Ocean City. What's worse for Cafe Mirage is that they are located almost directly behind a "Higgins" restaurant (multi-locations, popular in OC)Most of my party got seafood and they thought it was pretty good but short of great. One ordered crab cakes and I tried them and I would agree with the very good but not great review. I got a hamburger and I thought it was great!They closed early because of the weather so we had to take our order to go. The service was excellent. “Today was the first time I ate here. Ok so my son & I had the steak with homemade fried potato's toast & eggs. Everything was amazing. Gave me that good country eating. Like when ur mom wakes u up on a beautiful Saturday morning & it's warm outside & the sun is shining & ur called down for breakfast! That type of vibe. “My husband and I celebrated his birthday at The Shark yesterday. We are West OC locals so we go the Shark often. I will begin by saying yesterday was fantastic - such fun! Clint and Mike are the most attentive bartenders & the atmosphere is comfortable with a beautiful view of the Harbor ... we are never disappointed. The food is delicious ... we always try whatever seafood is on the menu - yesterday I had Shrimp and Grits with sweet potato biscuits, WOW. So good. We look forward to the unique, as well as the established menus they offer. I would (and often do) recommend The Shark to anyone.“

“A group of 6 of us had dinner here this weekend and very much enjoyed it. We ordered the garlic shrimp appetizer, steak skewers, the Star salad, crab cakes, the scallop bacon corn soup, and cream of crab soup. Everything was excellent. Our server was very attentive as well. We were told this was a fairly new chef so if you've been before, the menu has changed, they have specials, and it's really good food for a good price too. Also, they have a fireplace, lots of windows, vaulted ceilings, water and a pretty view. It's a small place so I recommend reservations.“

“My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“

“Belly Busters has been here for a long time. Any place in Ocean City that can stand the test of time is usually worth a try. Belly Busters is really, really good and so much fun to visit. It's tiny inside. The music is pumping. I only knew this as a sub shop but they have quite a selection of seafood also. They have beer on tap and by the can. Everyone was having fun including the employees. We had good food and a good time here. I will be back for more.“

My son and I got the snow crab platter for 1 which contained 1lb snow crab clusters, half pound shrimp, 2 pieces of fried chicken and a side which we chose hush puppies of course lol. My boyfriend got the Chesapeake burger with house fries. All of it was delicious! And our total was $77 which I thought wasn't bad.“

“I really liked Harrison's Harbor Watch. It is on the far south end Ocean City on the boardwalk at the inlet. The view through the abundant windows are very nice, overlooking the inlet. The place is clean, casual but slightly upscale and the service was great. We liked it so much we went twice during our stay at Ocean City.One in our party had fish (Rockfish?) and liked it. Another had crab cakes and liked them too. I tried the crab cakes and would agree. The first time I have the Ahi Tuna sandwich which was OK but not great. The second time I got a burger and it was really good and cooked correctly.Overall, I really liked Harrison's. “Julie was the perfect level of attentive and fun. Never got to half on a beverage. The Champagne Supernova cocktail was delicious. Octopus was cooked perfectly, which commonly gets murdered at most restaurants. The Scampi was perfect. Not some heavy cream based slop like America is used to. The Asparagus Puree Soup was another delicious option. This is definitely somewhere we will come back to next vacation.“
