My husband and I were visiting from NC and looking for home style cooking and decided to give Granny’s a try. The food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

What a delicious meal, but don't go there hungry. We ordered to much food and everything is an add on. Know what you want when you go there. determine what you want to spend. With that said.... this was the best soul food I have had in years. new to the area it hit a sweet spot! the fish and grits topped with crab meat, made me want to curl up in a fetal position and just close my eyes. The comfort I felt and the level of care and attention they spent on the preparing the food had me back in my Grandmothers kitchen. Where can you get really get a soft scrambled egg just the way you asked for it? Here at this place! Everything was seasoned to perfection. The only thing that was a little disappointing was their physical space was closed so they couldn't accommodate indoor seating or use the rest rooms. I have to hand it to them for having a nice patio area where we sat. The staff was amazing and treated you better then your own family. I'm coming back to Granny's.

Solid service for take out. Peach bourbon wings were meaty and beyond wonderful! Crab soup, salad, broccoli- all perfectly delicious. Glad I didn't walk out when I discovered it was take out only.

I ordered a fish and chips lunch special for myself, a crispy Cajun chicken sandwich for my husband, and a side of fried potatoes for us to share and everything tasted great! Each meal came with a heart shaped corn bread muffin that tasted really good and was moist. We also got the lemonade and sweet tea which were great. Our only complaint was that some of the fish still had bones it. That was off putting. But honestly the food was great otherwise!

The staff greets you with "Welcome to the family!" They seem to genuinely mean it. The food was delicious ! I particularly recommend the chesseburger meatloaf burger!! While the indoor dining remains closed, we were able to order take-out that they brought to our table on the patio. Reasonably priced.

Our first experience, but we will return soon, Delicious chicken wings fried to perfection, wonderful yams, delightfully fresh salad and the best waffle ever. The meatloaf gets three thumbs up from my husband!

This was not our first visit, but it was the first time for anything other than breakfast and it did not disappoint. The sweet tea and cornbread reminds me of home in the South, and Derek provided excellent service!

It was a dark and stormy night. We wanted some comfort food and found it. Went to dinner with some family from out of town staying nearby in a hotel. The service was good, folks were friendly and helpful. Special ordering was never a problem. It was my dad's 100th birthday and they brought him a little treat. Doggie bags were not needed. Portions were generous. Some of the grits I have ever had.

Atmosphere nice. Service not too good. Waitress kept coming to our table with the wrong food. I had Shrimp and Grits. Some of the Shrimp had shells and the vein on them. When I said something to the Waitress, it was like " so what".

I wanted to love this place. I should have known something was wrong when I spent $100 on soul food for 3 people and the food wasn't even that good or worth it. I said I will still give my people another chance by dining in this time. Once again the food was not great or worth the amount on money. The grits are basic regular grits with small low grade shrimp on top(Ida B's is much better). The food does not have enough flavor to be considered "soul food". The Chinese carry out fried chicken has more flavor than this place. Looks good but not as tasty. The service wasn't even great. The restaurant is not cozy in my opinion. I'm always for giving our people a chance and support but I will not return to this over rated place. My grandmother's cooking didn't taste like this! Sorry... but y'all need improvement!

Granny’s reminds me of a family diner in my hometown where the only reason you’re there is on Sunday when you don’t feel like scratch cooking. It all depends on the seasonings (Taste, Ambience, Price & Unforgettable). However, with a little enlarging renovation for space and Jazz Performers it could become our Friday night Fish Dinner.
