I absolutely love this place! It was always a must-have for my visits to National Harbor and will be sorely missed!! I wish the owners the best and hope we can see something similar again one day.

I've been going here since they opened. This was the first restaurant I had to get carry out from during the pandemic. It's really sad that after all these years, the store will be closing. I've been eating crab cakes around the east coast and the world. By far, crab cake cafe has been THE BEST! The crab cake is pretty much ALL crab, with a touch of seasoning. The two crab cakes entree is great because you can enjoy a little crunch on the outside and the gooey delicious, juicy crab in the center. However, the half pound is amazing. It's mostly gooey center. It's like the difference between if someone likes the brownie edges or the center. Their creamy crab soup and corn bread muffin with cheese on top is simply top notch. I really hope they reconsider and reopen in a new location. (E.g in Virginia)

This place is closed. Went there at 11:30 today. Dark and locked. The sign posted on the door said 11.... Either they closed permanently or will be very soon.

Cold breezy day ended with a pleasant meal of crab cakes and hot seafood gumbo! We ordered the single crab cake (firecracker flavor) and a bowl of seafood gumbo. A little pricey for the portion but tasted delicious. The dining area was very clean and food was made fresh! Enjoy!

I love a good crab cake and this place has A+ crab cakes and crab cake sandwiches. I love the different varieties. Also, fries are great! It's one of my go tos when visiting nationals harbor and don't want to wait at the restaurants forever.

Great location! The traditional crab cake sandwich was great with plenty of crab meat. The creamy crab soup was hearty however a bit salty for my taste. The fries are typical, nothing special. Would come back the next time that I'm in the area.

Went there over labor weekend . The cashier charged me on credit card and said credit card didn't go thru . So I paid cash. One month later my credit card showed the charge . Be careful of paying credit card
