“I got the pollo frito with tostones on the side and a little pickled slaw on top. It was delicious - reminded me of how my grandma fried chicken. Crispy and flavorful. The tostones were crispy too. I just wish you got one more piece of chicken for $18. Overall, totally worth it.“

“Looking for an authentic Honduran food restaurant & this is it. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable about the food even though all the servers weren't from Honduras, but I was assured all the cooks are Honduran. The food was wonderful with large portions. One of the fish dishes was served as a whole fish, head & tail! It was amazing. The inside dining room is small. There is also an outdoor area.“
“Really terrific food. The taquitos were topped with a slaw and SO fresh and yummy. (I think they were "enchiladas" on the menu, but I know them as taquitos. My husband had the taco plate and everything was so fresh. The waitress was super helpful and so nice. The vibe is almost like a nightclub, but we enjoyed the soccer game during our lunch. Paid $23 plus tip for a very filling, fresh meal!“
“Sofia's Pupuseria is delicious every time I go - a favorite spot on Columbia Pike. Great pupusas, delicious plantains, and a variety of Latin/Salvadorian options. I also like the comfortable, laidback atmosphere there. If you are the kind of person who needs to spend $50-$100 for a fine-dining, Michelin star experience, then this is not the place for you. The meals are served on styrofoam plates on plastic trays. But if you let that hold you back from trying Sofia's, then you are truly missing out on some incredible flavors. Give it a try - you won't regret it!“
“Great little Honduran restaurant. Everything on the menu looks very good. I only got pupusas, but I definitely want to try some other things next time. The pupusas were very large, I got three but one and a half or two would have been sufficient, even though I was very hungry. Fast friendly service, plenty of seating, tasty looking homemade drinks in refrigerator. Clean restroom and dining room. Plenty of parking for the time I visited, though it might be crowded if it were the evening. Bar in second dining room, open evenings. No credit card minimum.“
“Rode past this restaurant for three years and finally decided to try it today. The prices were reasonable and the food was really good.My only dislikes were that the salsa was too runny, the onions were too big and the beans were puree’d. However, I will be returning for sure!“
