“In another one of my random strip mall adventures, I came across this place. You cant see it from the road so to come here you need to be looking for it. Not a big place and its dark inside because of whatever film they have on the windows, but dont let that stop you. I came here mid afternoon, not knowing what to expect but noticed there was a steady stream of folks there getting to-go orders so it couldnt be that bad. I can confidently say that these are the best al pastor tacos ive had in the DMV and...most likely the best ive ever had. There is an unseasoned meat epidemic in this area and I dont know why. There are tons of taco places that cook the meat but dont season it. From bite 1 it was clear they actually seasoned their stuff. If you know anything about Al pastor, its marinated to include pineapple. With these, it was easy to taste the seasoning and pineapple in one bite, then the next bite actually had a piece of pineapple. Take that, then add tortillas that they grilled so they had a slight crisp to them AND tasted buttery...then throw in the onions, cilantro, and the red and green sauces...last thing, the beans had flavor to them too. This was an all around win that only cost $16.“

“After having an unpleasant experience at another restaurant in the area we came to Judy’s and this was meant to be! The service was amazing, our server Fidel was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. Fidel gave us really good recommendations. We ordered one tamarind margarita and one lemon margarita with mezcal, they both were delicious and fresh! For the food, we ordered pupusas revueltas and pupusas with cheese and beans! Best pupusas I ever tried! I’m definitely coming back! “We did carry out so I can't be totally sure of the atmosphere but it seemed nice. The food is fantastic, and I say run over to get some! Absolutely everything we tried was beyond fantastic. $30 total including tip for two people, and we had some leftovers for the next day.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and the pupusas are GF, plus so much else. “La Unión restaurant is one of the best in the area. The food is always on point and the service is top notch. I usually order the shrimp dishes (camarones entomatados or camarones en crema). Yum! “There’s street parking which you sometimes have to pay for but there might be a parking lot too. Just not sure. Service is great in a lively, comfortable setting. The food is even better. I tried this location partly because it’s closer to my home but also for a new experience. I was not disappointed. We went there for an early lunch and to beat the crowd. Chips and salsa were great. I had the chorizo con huevos which was delicious and so much I couldn’t finish it all. My wife had the mojarra frita with shrimps on top with a butter garlic sauce. She raved about it.“
“They have the best seafood soup!!!! Incredibly tasty, healthy, and full of chunky seafood, scallops, shrimp, and fish. The soup goes exceptionally well with the pickled veggies and tortillas that it comes with along with a squeeze of lemon. An absolute must try if you like seafood soup!!! PS. I get mine without cream but you can get it on the side to try in the soup.“
“Pupusas here are good. It's a mix of Mexican and Salvadoran food and I've been coming to it for years. The old school drinks, plátanos con crema and pupusas are delicious. The jukebox with cumbias and musica latina sets a good vibe. The staff is friendly and it's not always too busy.“
“My 1st time eating here & overall...not bad.The food was good, location not. In a semi strip mall in the hood.I ordered a shrimp & chicken fajita over the phone & it was ready when I arrived. The lady was nice and I ordered a half tea/lemonade drink. The drink was watery and not sweet.They only give you 4 medium size shrimp, a small cup of black beans, & the Pico was the smallest portion I've ever seen (see photo), especially for the size platter. The Pico should've been the same size as the beans.You also get small extras of sour cream, a cheese, & a greenish garnish which I didn't use any of them.I stopped at Chipotle and got a Gauc, added bacon bits and it was a good lunch! (They don't have quac)I will return!With the drink it was about $17“
“I had never been there before, and I just needed to go to the bathroom. I looked at the menu and ordered two burritos. I then left to go transact some business, left, and come back to get my order. The people were very nice and had my order ready when I returned. The bag they gave we was very big. I did eat there. When I got home there were two containers in the bag, and the burritos were so big it took me two days to eat them. The burritos were very good. I they added cucumber, and hit sauce and a green sauce I did recognize, but didn't eat. If I'm in the neighborhood in the future, I will stop by and order the same thing. The burritos were $12.00 each. It was a little pricey, but very good.“

The pupusas were delicious, chicharrón con yuca was not dry at all and full of flavor. The music was also great. “This is hands-down, the best Silvestre location in my opinion. I always call and order my food and it's always ready for pick up when I go. The service is phenomenal and so is the food. My go to order is a steak taco bowl. The steak is always very tender and well seasoned. The taco bowl is always overflowing and the amount of steak that you get for the price is amazing. Both the green and orange sauces, put all of the dishes over the top. I've also had their pupusa and tamales. I love a good pupusa and the curdito that comes with it is so fresh. “This small restaurant is tucked away on Livingston Road by the LSW Liquor Store. Cozy and inviting, the restaurant is a great place to stop by for lunch or dinner. I had the grilled beef fajitas which was hot with beans, salad, and rice. Delicious and very satisfying at a reasonable price. I didn't take a photo but I will add a photo of the menu later. It specializes in Tex-Mex and Salvadorean food. I would highly recommend it. No frills, just good comfort food.“
