The seating is a little awkward. Too close for comfort

They were out of many menu items. The food that we did have was good. It was very loud and hard to have a conversation. Not sure I would go again.

Yesterday, I took my friends to The Walrus Oyster & Ale House and everything we ate there was amazing, including the food. While my friend, Nawfal had a crab cake sandwich there and my friend, Danny had a burger there, I had the Maryland’s best lobster roll and it was the best lobster roll I’ve ever had surpasses the lobster roll I had in Maine. Although I had never been to a restaurant other than The Walrus Oyster & Ale House that serves super delicious hush puppies, they serve the best hush puppies I had ever been to. Their cornbread, along with the butter were so delicious and taste different than store-bought cornbread. Plus, the service and the waitress we had there were amazing. I would love to come back to that place next time we eat in National Harbor for dinner.

Most of the food was very good, but the chicken sandwich shouldn't even be on the menu. I'm pretty sure it was microwaved and completely inedible.

Had a wonderful weekday evening meal at The Walrus. Brayan delivered fantastic service… attentive without being overbearing, knowledgable about selections, and quick with delivery when able. The tuna appetizer was phenomenal and the grilled fish was delicious but, as the entree, it was barely larger than the appetizer. All things considered, I got more than my money’s worth and the whole affair was made that much better by the waiter, Brayan (apologies for any misspelling of his name).

Food was good. I ordered crab cakes with carrots and garlic mash. I also ordered a smokey margarita and the bartender left out the mezcal. I asked for a shot of mezcal to see if I was imaging things or if it were actually missing. It was. He left it out. Another lady ordered the same drink not even 5 minutes after I ordered and I warned her that it may be missing the mezcal. Once she tasted her drink she confirmed that it had mezcal. Wonder how he somehow forgot mine and remembered hers? Hmmm. ?

Food was fantastic. My 7 year old son had his first oyster and loved it. Service was fast. But Mohammed our server stole the show. He was fun, passionate, attentive, and anticipated anything you could possible need. 5 stars really isn’t enough. As a restaurant owner myself I wish I had a server as good as him.

Amazing seafood and tasty beer selection. I had the NE clam chowder (soup) which was thin and not so NE-style, but it was super tasty. Also had the Chef's dozen fresh and local Oyster trio - AmazeBalls! Finished it off with the Lobster roll which was divine. Highly recommended!

Stumbled on a delicious meal, fun atmosphere, and great service. While in DC for work, my group found our way out in National Harbor and enjoyed some yummy seafood. Recommend: lobster role, oysters, crab cake, hush puppies, and a beer.

First time we came here, it was awesome. Happy hour prices are decent for the area and vibe was great. Came back for a second visit and was disappointed. Bartender misadvised on oysters for happy hour which resulted in our group not being able to eat the dozen we ordered. In addition, said bartender preceded to tell his co- worker in front of customers that he was sick. Then proceeded to cough many times throughout the night in his hands, openly spit whatever he coughed up into the trash can at the bar, and never once washed his hands. Not once. Happy that the food we did eat didn't come from him serving. Might try again given my first experience was so positive. But come on man, don't come to work sick. And if you have to do so,WASH YOUR HANDS CONSTANTLY AND DO NOT SPIT UP AT OPENLY AT THE BAR. Especially multiple times. Good point was another bartender saw we didn't eat our oysters and gave us a credit.

Went in for happy hour. Nice big bar, plenty of space and excellent service! I ordered the deviled eggs and mussels with the blueberry margarita. I will definitely be back!

Fun lively atmosphere and fantastic fresh seafood. I sat at the bar just before sunset. I had a fantastic view of the harbor and and got excellent service from the bartender. Went with clams and oysters and was not disappointed. The whole harbor experience was great. I went over to MGM later but glad to have caught the sunset view and food here.
