“Visited a friend up here & we went to this bar. It's def a hole in the wall, but a cool little joint! Bartender was super friendly & the drinks are cheap. Plenty of parking too. They have darts & pool tables if that's your jam. This is our new hang out when we come back to visit!“

The bartender was friendly and the service was quick, the place was comfortable and just a great quiet place to finish the day with a nice meal and service. Highly recommended.“

“I had the bacon cheese burger it was excellent. My wife had chicken and liked it too. The whole place was very clean. The service was outstanding. We never had to worry about needing anything. I've been to four black hogs. And I'd put this one as number 2 as far as my favorite one. But it very close to number 1. I'll go back again. Good job guys!!“

“I love our small town restaurant. Watsons was a staple in Frederick city forever. I was so happy when they moved here to Jefferson. You can tell everything is homemade. Chicken is awesome. Homemade steak and cheese sub is a regular order for us too. It is right off 340 on the corner at the first stoplight toward town. Easy on, easy off. Give it a try!“

“The people were very friendly, the food was good. My only issue is the place needs some updating. The place is old and worn down from years of wear and tear. But, it was clean. Sad to hear the owner had passed. Hopefully the new owners will spruce up the place.“
