Is it the most amazing sushi in Moco? No, but it’s good! The fish tastes fresh, the presentation is nice, and the owners are always very nice.

Best sushi ever! My family and I love Moko Sushi and dine there on a regular basis. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is causal. The sushi is consistently fresh. The yellow tail and scallops melt in your mouth. I highly recommend Moko Sushi.

I ordered some takeout from here. When I arrived, I was surprised that there was not a single customer there at 8pm on a Friday night, despite every other restaurant in the plaza appearing busy. When I ate my sushi, I found out why: the food is just not very good.

They reduced the number of rolls per order recently. The rolls which were supposed to be baked (Volcano, Dynamite) were not baked in my order. If the oven is broken or something, they need to update menu to reflect that. I do not recommend this sushi restaurant, at least for take out orders.

I went here with my family for the first time post-covid. Food is delicious, price is affordable for a foodie on a budget, service is great and the restaurant is next to a nice liquor store! Happy that they serve chicken tempura which feels like it's hard to find in the DC area.

The food is just not authentic Japanese at all. The tempura is over breaded. Tastes and looks like the frozen tempura from the grocery store. The miso soup is thin and barely a bite of tofu. And the teriyaki chicken was just some cooked chicken with sauce dumped on top. No flavor to the chicken. Unfortunately you will have to find your true Japanese flavors elsewhere.

I visited this discreet sushi restaurant when I was running some errands. I went in for a quick snack but I was pleasantly surprised by the food and wine selection, so I decided to dine-in. The hostess and waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive. The sushi and appetizers were well made and came out in record timing. I wouldn’t particularly recommend this place for dates, but for casual dining it was perfect.

I had a great visit at this local business! I met up a friend for girl's night and we split the edamame, agedashi tofu, Vegetable Roll and Larry's Roll. We are outside which was quiet and great for beautiful food photos. The server was very attentive and patient while we asked to make sure our meals would be vegan. She let us know that their tempura batter does not have egg. Next time I will try their sweet potato roll! The appetizers were great. We got a generous portion of edamame. It was lightly salted and filling. The agedashi tofu is always one of my favorite appetizers. I liked that theirs had lots of crispy onion bits and seaweed on top. The dipping sauce was delicious and I would order this again!I was so impressed that this business had two vegetable rolls on their menu! The main vegetable roll was not the typical avocado, cucumber, and carrot roll. Instead it actually had interesting vegetables like pickled radish which made this meal feel elevated instead of just a step up from the grocery store. The Larry's Roll was the star of the meal for me. I love that it had both seaweed salad and mango in it! It was hearty which is rare to find for vegan sushi. These two rolls are more than enough reason to have this place bookmarked as a place to patron as a vegan. I do wish that the plate did not have that decoration on the side with the Mayo based sauce. Luckily nothing contaminated my rolls, and I will ask for that to be left off the plate when I come back for another visit. Our meal with two appetizers and two rolls was $28. Not a bad girl's night price at all! We thought about ordering the fried banana for dessert without whipped cream but we will just have to wait to try that for next time!

Delicious! Random shopping mall stop and had one of the best vegetarian meals at a Japanese restaurant in a long while. Wonderfully flavored fried rice, tofu was lightly fried and super smooth. Great flavor and proportions on the avocado rolls. Great value too. For an unexpected stop, 100% worth it!Clean and nice ambiance. We had the place to ourselves 2-3 pm on a Saturday.

Ordered the the roll dinner with salad. Tuna, Yellowtail, and Salmon. Very disappointing. Rolls seemed small, and more importantly, not fresh.

Good and fast. Next to cvs and safeway. Wish it could have been a little more spicy, but the flavor was still good, and portions were large enough for 2 people to share. Easy carryout.

We haven’t ordered from here in a long time but dinner tonight was an awful experience. The shumai was mush. The seaweed salad tasted awful and was inedible. And we’re charged extra to have roe on a California roll. I don’t know what the charge was but the amount of roe added was negligible! We won’t be going back here for a long time.

The food is amazing and the price is right, what more can you ask, the place would benefit from modern advertising and a theme would definitely help them, feel authentic and give people a better experience ?, but I take it for what it is.
