Was pleasantly surprised with our meal here. Carne asada had good flavor, and service was good even on a busy night. Some negatives were that the taquitos sinaloa were plain tasting, and the table salsa was watery/lacking flavor. Having lived in Montgomery County for 10 years, Uncle Julio's in Rio Gaithersburg has been my family's go-to for Tex Mex over the years. Villa Maya is my favorite neighborhood spot for girls' nights, family dinners and happy hour! Food is great and the staff is awesome. I especially want to give them a shout out for accommodating a very large group on a very busy Saturday night. It wasn't easy and they stuck with us. They are also a great option if you need to cater an event. Definitely recommend!
