I had the sudden urge for some BBQ pork ribs so I l looked up who had the best in the area and this place popped up. I can honestly say they satisfied my craving because those ribs were exquisite with every bite. The cornbread was my second favorite. I've had better mac & cheese and collard greens (and they got the job done) but that's not what I came here for. I will be back.

I ordered the large Burnt ends with Yella sauce, BBQ beans, Collared greens, hush puppies and got my daughter a popcorn chicken kid's meal. Everything was delicious, but there is two things I would've changed. First, I wish would've had more sauce for my Burnt ends. Second, I didn't know there would only be four pieces of popcorn chicken. Outside of that I was pleased and will certainly be back! Service was nice, and rather quick.

Been to the now-gone location in Sandy Spring many times & have been getting delivery from the Norbeck location. I like to buy the pulled pork by the pound with some slaw. So good & also a good buy. I wish they would leave out the kernels of corn in the corn bread though since I can't eat it so it becomes tedious picking them out but I love corn bread. I love hush puppies more. Growing up in the south you always eat cole slaw on top of your BBQ & Hugh puppies & corn bread are staples. Greens are also a must. This place has them all.

I am absolutely dreading to write this review, but I have to. The food was amazing everything was seasoned well and juicy. Throughout the meal I kept saying how amazing the meal was. However, when we were finished eating and paying I saw a rat and it ran past my feet. I immediately got up and left I did not even want to fight for my money back or bring it up to management.

Salads were excellent. Turkey was dry, cold, and slightly burnt. Pulled pork was OK but very small amount. Fries were cold, tater tots were a lump of cheese sauce and cold tots. Beans and sauces were adequate. We had asked to be ready at 5:15 and we were there exactly on time. No idea how long the order sat waiting for pickup.

The place was dark, empty, and not welcoming. The server was attentive, a bit too attentive. The food was horrible. Both my son and I were sick to our stomach afterwards and had to run to the bathroom (if you know what I mean). Would NOT recommend.

First of all everything is microwaved. My "brioche" bun was a hamburger bun. My mashed potatoes with gravy were lumpy uncooked potatoes with instant gravy mix. They forgot my other side. This was my second attempt with this place. My first attempt... I placed my order, the bartender walked right to the back and got it right away.... They're not cooking anything. Just microwave all the way

The quarter chicken was very good. Baked beans and macaroni & cheese were also tasty. The apple crisp warm on the outside but very cold in the middle.

St Louis Ribs were very good as were the Burnt end beans. Collards were a little sweet but cooked very well. They have a full bar but I drank tea.

I decided to go easy on myself, and buy the chicken for my 4th of July barbecue from Urban Barbecue. The chicken had always been in good. But I learned a lesson. DO NOT give them advance notice. I called them about noon, ordered 3 chickens cut up, and they must have done that right away. By the time 3:30 got there, the chicken pieces were dry and hard as a rock. The we're drenched in sauce, which they usually don't do, because when you eat there. You have your choice if sauces. I think they drenched them in the hopes we wouldn't notice how dry and hard they were. Next time, I'm either going to call them 30 minutes before I get there.. or call Sardi's instead. I never thught I'd throw away 8 pieces of leftover chicken!

Well, first and last time ordering here. I ordered the Texas Steakhouse Salad. It was more like the Texas Gristle Salad. Definitely overpriced due to poor quality meat. The meat plate with three meats was the same. The cornbread was good. Mission BBQ is a few minutes away and better quality meat!
