“I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews regarding customer service. This was my first time at this location and I had a great experience. The line moved quickly, I placed my order with no issues, the staff were polite and helpful, and I received my order within 2 minutes of paying. No complaints! I got the mango gelatin with vanilla custard, my go to and always delicious! I ordered the small, but could easily take on a large on a hot summer day. I say give this location a chance!“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.“

“I've only been one time, but it was such an enjoyable and delicious experience! I can't wait to come back to this cute hole in the wall restaurant again. I agree with another yelper that these are Americanized style crepes, and huge! I love how they are made--filled and rolled up into handheld triangle kind of thing. At first I was weirded out when I asked for silverware and was told they don't have any...and then I understood why. They were really easy to eat the way they wrapped and presented the crepes. I ordered the Mikey as the thought of eating a Mexican sounding dish in a crepe form sounded fascinating. It had chicken, cheese, jalapenos, black beans, tomatoes, and chipotle sauce. It was--amazing! The crepe was kind of crispy on certain edges and softer in the middle and it just all worked. I devoured it. My SIL got the veggie and I loved that too--the basil made it really come together. The dessert crepes looked great too and next time I come in I will make sure to get the combo savory and sweet for myself! My nephew and niece shared the Presley and Toto and they got rave reviews. I thought the Obama crepe was a cute idea. Can't wait to come back.“

“hi, I had a few crepes from here (banana strawberry and Nutella) and they were really good . however I would say that the beverages vary.. I ordered a bubble milk tea and it was too sugary for my liking even when I requested for low sugar percent, I was eating literal tiny chunks of sugar. the strawberry banana smoothie was better. I did not dine in but the place is clean and has a nice atmosphere“

“Overall a positive experience. I enjoyed the tuna nicoise crepe, but my friend didn't really like the avocado treat crepe she got, due to the fact that despite being a savory crepe option, it seemed like the crepe itself was still sweetened. My friend didn't expect her savory crepe to have a sweet undertone, and so it didn't match her preference. I have a sweet tooth, so I didn't mind the slight sweetness alongside the sour/salty taste of the tuna in my crepe.I wonder if there's an option to request that no sugar be added to a savory crepe. If you're sensitive to sugar or don't like a mixture of sweet and savory flavors, you might want to ask about that before ordering.“

“Nice French bistro. Appetizers were excellent and interesting - escargot, crab meat and scallop crepe, and platter of duck mousse, Saucisson, prosciutto, etc. boulliabase and boeuf bourginion were ok. Flan, chocolate mousse, and Nutella crepes were very good. Service was nice but a bit inattentive.“

“Cute outdoor seating that has some of the best dessert crepes I've ever tasted. They also have Polish food, but I found it underwhelming.Perfect place to eat outdoors when the weather is nice.They have tap pay and you order and pay up front. They don't serve to table but you pick it up from the table outside or the front, if eating indoors.“

“A great find at the Eastern Market - fresh sweet and savoury crepes made to order. We did granola/peaches/honey and ham/spinach/tomato/smoked gouda - both fantastic, hot and fresh, and not too hard on the wallet for what you get. Beware, they really have no system for tracking who orders what - once you order you have to listen carefully, keep an eye on who was there before you, and make sure nobody takes your crepe! Would be an easy fix to have a big roll of numbered tickets.“

“Can't count on fingers and toes how many crepes I've had in the past decade at the Sunday Bethesda market. The Veggie Supreme is hearty and loaded with spinach, onions, peppers, cheddar cheese, and scrambled egg. Hits the spot every time and perfect for brunch and doubling over from breakfast to lunch!“

“La Moo Creamery is out of this world AWESOME! We found this location on a Google search for “ice cream near me” and we’re SO glad that we did. It was a crappy rainy night, which immediately calls for good food. La Moo Creamery didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Apple Pie A-La-Mod and my wife ordered the “Reese With A Spoon” total play on Reese Weatherspoon name (which we ❤️ her as an actress), and our boys had cookies and cream. The service was great, and the food was amazing. The store was clean, and the restroom was spotless. There decor in the restroom was sweet with signage and hand drawn signs. Parking can be a little tricky, but we waited about 2-3 minutes and a spot came available. Rate a 10 out of 10, highly recommended. Enjoy!Parking: Due to the location, adjacent to a busy Harris Teeter grocery store, the parking lot is packed. We were able to find a spot within no time.“

“I love Italy and I was looking for an Italian spot where I could get an Italian breakfast. I liked the presentation but I think that should to considered as a way presentation more aesthetic for the creeps. The atmosphere and the service were great“

“The staffer behind the counter was so friendly and accommodating. We ordered a strawberry- lemon crepe and a waffle with strawberries. Both were delicious! Beware- if you ask for butter on your waffle, you'll get a solid 1/4-1/3 cup; I believe it was margarine. All in all, nothing to complain about- we'll be back!“

“Thank you Avenue Cafe for serving great eats at such late times !As a restaurant manager, I get off late sometimes when everything is close but Avenue cafe is open even later than when I’m off! & the food is always fresh and delicious !I highly recommend the steak and cheese sub as well as the crispy 2x Buffalo chicken sandwich. But to be honest , from what I’ve experienced - you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!I appreciate y’all at Avenue cafe!“

“I'm so happy I found this restaurant! I went there today for dinner, and I was greeted right away with a big smile. I sat down, and my server came right away. I ordered a drink and an appetizer and entree, which I loved. Finally, I ordered tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. The ambiance was cozy.! definitely recommend this place. Great job to the chef and wait staff.“

“The food was standard original pancake house fare. The omlette was the typical fluffy dome that the baking style leads to. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The biggest issue was some very loud noise that would occasionally start and then stop, lasting for a few minutes each time. I'm also not sure about the retained COVID protection. Makes the place feel a bit clinical.“
