“So so good! Food is always so fresh every time. I always usually get a veggie combo, fish dulet and Goden tibs. You can tell this place is great because its mostly always packed with Ethiopian people. Service is good, sometimes a little slow but nothing crazy. The owner is very delightful and always walks around to say hi to everyone. There is often incense burning which is nice but sometimes a little strong. I will always come back here!Dietary restrictions: I asked if they have gluten free injera for my aunt and she said yes and it comes from ethiopia (not made locally).”
“A dive bar’s dive bar. Dark. Dank. This place is special. Lot of food options and all the bar classics. Lot of drink option. Great service. Great crowd with a welcoming vibe. Stop by and watch a band.”
“I went to this restaurant yesterday and I loved it! For 1 the food was phenomenal ( do not pass out the Pastéis de Nata cause they are absolutely delicious) and Manuel, our server, was so knowledgeable and gave us amazing recommendations. For appetizers We had the basket of bread, which was so warm, the caldo verde with their authentic chouriço (would highly recommend trying if you like soup) and the shrimp in a lemon and garlic sauce which was divine. For entrees we had the octopus, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS DISH and the Bacalhau and it was absolutely amazing, it felt like I was back in Europe. The food was so so so good that we just dug into it and forgot to take pictures! But we have one of the Pastéis de Nata, which is the original recipe from Lisbon.”

“My family and I celebrated my sister's birthday at El Aguila this weekend and we had so much fun! The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, the workers were organized and served the food to 64 guests quickly and without any problems. I would recommend El Aguila to those looking to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant has plenty of space for events large or small. Guadalupe really did a great job communicating from the beginning of the reservation to the end. “This is such a hidden gem in the DMV area. It was a last minute decision to come here and I don’t regret anything! Their seafood was so fresh and the drinks are AMAZING! The servers were very sweet and friendly. We order for 4 and have so much leftovers. Even the bag that they send you home with is reusable. I would say the best cajun seafood place I had ever. You should try their house special sauce, you won’t regret it!”

“Some of the best Ethiopian food I've had! The owner is so sweet and took such great care of us. Highly recommend the samosas, lamb, veggie combo with injera. Finish the meal off with traditional Ethiopian coffee you'll be so happy and satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in the DC/Silver Spring area!”
“We LOVE The Parkway Deli we love the servers. We always get to sit with anyone we ask for. We enjoy the pickle bar. My dad loved this restaurant!Dietary restrictions: They are happy to accommodate my dietary needs.”
“What a lovely spot! I tried the strawberry rose drink, butterfly pea lemonade, banana and egg roti, crab and cheese roti, and I stole a bite of my table-mate's chicken croissant. What worked: -- I really enjoyed both the strawberry rose drink and the butterfly pea lemonade (lemonade was my favorite, though) -- the crab and cheese roti feels like it shouldn't work and yet, it does. It was a little sweet, very savory, and came with a side of salad which helped brighten the plate -- the banana and egg roti also feels like it shouldn't work but it was great! It was like a sweet crepe without all the extra sugar -- great service! They were very kind -- it's a really cute spot. It has the cozy cafe feel while also serving meal-sized portions of food What didn't work: -- it would be nice if they expanded their savory options, especially if they included more veggie based things. Other than that, no complaints! I'd love to come again!”
“What a gem! Went with two girlfriends, we spent a fantastic evening. Comfy, service was wonderful, and food might be the best Ethiopian I’ve had after living in Silver Spring for twenty years.Definitely worth the little detour from the main drag!”

“This is a place is awesome. I ordered samosa and a lamb gyro. I have never been asked if I wanted my gyro spicy. But I was, and I must say this was the best gyro I have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious also loved the samosas!!!! I will be back for more menu items”

“I enjoyed the smoothies, the acai bowl was SO good! The flavor is great, the taste is amazing, and the service was ok for the amount of customers at the time, I wish the prices were slightly cheaper, but other than that it is a 5/5, peak!Vegetarian options: Very much alot of vegan options and bowls.”
“Fabulous, friendly and welcoming service. Our waiter (maybe Oswin from the receipt?) was particularly good, as were all the staff that delivered wine and food throughout dinner. Excellent menu with tons of delicious, unique, gluten-free options. Great location in the heart of silver spring with easy access to public garage parking. Festive atmosphere on a bustling Friday evening. Highly recommended.”
“Love this restaurant in Silver Spring. 'Consistently great food and good service. Whenever I'm in town, I make time to eat dinner there. You need a reservation for Saturday and Friday evenings. Parking is easy since it is near one of the Wayne Garage entrances. My family likes everything on the menu, but I especially like the tenderloin steak with spinach. I rarely get beef, but it is consistently a moist and tender cut. Cocktails are great, and the food is gourmet quality.Parking: Park in Wayne Street parking garage. There is an exit to Ellsworth, which takes you to an exit that is very near the restaurant.”
“Really good food and friendly service, both indoor and cute outdoor seating with umbrellas. Parking garage across the street, which is all you can ask for in Silver Spring. One entree is probably enough for two light eaters, especially if you also get an order of sambusas”

“The staff was very friendly. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. They have an assortment of baked goods and other food. I had the overnight oats, which were pretty good. I also had a coffee, but I didn't love the flavour. I think it might be a matter of taste. I think this place is worth a try!”

“Vegetarian options: I placed an order online for delivery and for holy week my family and I aren't eating meat so I put in the instructions no chicken and the lady called me to make sure she got my order right and she even changed my egg roll to a veggis ones without me even telling her witch I loved cause she went out her way to make sure I had no meat in my order! I will definitely be getting food from them again and the food taste good, best Chinese food I've had around this area!”

“Delicious food, good music playing in the background and prices are comparable. The whole restaurant only had one waitress plus the bartender. She was very friendly but had to wait a while for our drinks and refills.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options.”
“If you’re seeking a dining experience that blends impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a dash of Southern charm, look no further than Ms. Toya’s Creole Seafood in Silver Spring. From the moment we stepped into Ms. Toya's, it was clear that we were in for a treat. Our server, Felicia, went above and beyond to ensure that my husband's 60th birthday celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. The table was adorned with charming birthday decorations, setting the stage for a memorable evening.Felicia's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she patiently guided us through our selections, making recommendations and explaining each dish with enthusiasm. The whole red snapper fish, cooked to perfection, stole the show. Paired with broccoli and asparagus, it was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. My husband's gumbo was rich and flavorful, while the bayou and surf 'n turf rolls were a delightful addition to our meal. After dinner, Felicia surprised us with warm beignets and vanilla ice cream, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." Her warmth and charm truly elevated our dining experience. If I may offer one suggestion, it would be to consider providing wet naps or warm towels along with a bib for messier dishes like the gumbo. Despite my husband's best efforts to avoid spills, it was a humorous moment that added to the charm of the evening. In summary, Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood exceeded our expectations in every way. With impeccable service, delicious cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a dining destination we'll be returning to again and again.Parking: Convenient parking is always a plus, and Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood doesn't disappoint in that department either. We parked in Town Square Garage, the large parking lot across the street, with its multiple levels and clear signage indicating available spaces, ensures a hassle-free experience from the moment you arrive. Using the ParkMobile app to pay for parking adds to the convenience, allowing you to focus on enjoying your dining experience without worrying about parking meters or finding spare change. Plus, the well-lit surroundings and ample signage make navigating the parking lot a breeze, ensuring a stress-free start to your evening at Ms. Toya's.mKid-friendliness: While Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood may not be the ideal spot for children with shorter attention spans, it certainly caters to adults seeking a relaxed dining experience with excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere is more suited for adults looking to unwind and enjoy their meal without distractions. However, they do provide high chairs and have a friendly staff willing to accommodate families with young children. So, if you're in the mood for fantastic food and drinks and can keep your little one entertained, Ms. Toya's is still a great option.”
“What a place. Humble and kind owner greets you and walks you to your table. One of 8 in this small, unassuming and fantastic establishment. Traditional Thai menu, we had 4 apps and 3 main dishes. Everything was outstanding. Washed down with $5 Sapporo. Wow. Highly recommend you give it a try.”
“This place is always super reliable and i enjoy it immensely every time. Chick'n sandwiches and burgers are both super good as well as the fries and their sauces”
“Fantastic - the White Cranberry is perhaps the best wine I’ve ever tasted. The place is beautiful and clean. Mike, the server was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ll stop again if I’m in the area.”
“I went here for the first time today. Good happy hour prices and the staff was extremely nice. Josh and Grace were out wait-staff members and were super helpful. The busboys were also very attentive as well as the bartenders. Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, and staff, will be back!”
“Great little shop located in lobby area of a professional building. Shelves are stocked with many different options as well as healthy fruits and vegetables. Would recommend anyone doing business in the 8720 Office Building to check them out.”
“I've reviewed before, but the new owner is sooo kind. The food is always super good. I've heard some customers be super rude to him just because delivery can take a while even though he tells you in advance, but either way he is always very friendly no matter what!”
“Best Philly cheesesteak sub!!! Seasoned very well. I wish they had toasted the bread so it wouldn’t be soggy but it tasted great. Also got the burger supreme, and that was very good as well. French fries were good. Their soy garlic wings are also good. I just wish that it came with blue cheese instead of having to pay a dollar. I’m already paying $16 for 10 wings!! But AnyWho, the food was good. 10/10”
“I stopped in for lunch last week and someone had recommended the Gouda burger, it was magnificent! I would definitely have it again.Today I just had the bruschetta- ok, tomato’s seemed like they were frozen and thawed vs fresh. Choices of tea bags. Nice place to enjoy a meal, tea and they have lots of wines.”
“The Jewel of India, epitomizes classic and authentic Indian cuisine. Bright on the menu, one can find diversified culinary heritages of India. Not only fine food takes the dining experience here to another level; outstanding warm service does. Attentive and genuinely warm staff place every guest to a special space which can be nothing else than Indian hospitality. Adding on ambience of light and Indian classical music, it is a sumptuous, great experience that lures one back for more. Whether your love of Indian spices is an old affair or you are just coming to these eclectic flavors.”

“Was here with my family last week like we've done over the years and we had a fantastic time as usual. A big shout out to our server Lola who is always on top of her game with an exceptional customer service.Lola is amazing and we would always be a repeat customer because of her!! Safe to say this is our favorite IHOP ?”

“Kirby (Kirban?) waited on me today. He was very kind, greeted me with a smile and his coworker made my drink fast. Every single time I come to this location, I have an absolutely great experience!!! ?????Thank you Kirby and your young heavy set friend/ coworker for making my day amazing. You guys are great!”
“Typical McDonald's, service is good. During school there tends to be an overflow of kids from Kennedy HS that makes waiting times very long. Great location for breakfast ?”
“Very good placeKid-friendliness: They have chairs for children and portions of food suitable for the little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a very good entrance for wheelchairs”
“Just what I've come to expect from McDonald's. There is one caveat though. This location has a smaller parking lot than most which leads to congestion.”
“It's McDonalds; what's not to like. They're open for breakfast. Service is pretty good for employees making minimum wage and no tips. My go to anywhere.”
“The food was really good (I had the chicken burrito) and the service was outstanding... It is a bigger place with plenty of seating and good lighting. We had no problem with parking.”

“Don't let the small size fool you, their baked goods are wonderful. Definitely worth the trip, arrive early and grab what you can! Love that they serve their red bean buns warm.”

“I went here for lunch as I was looking for something a little bit light and this place did not disappoint. Their menu consist of customizable sushi, bowls, and sushi burritos, as well as a variety of drinks and small bites. I got the B5 silver spring roll without the wonton chips and with added eel sauce. The service was very quick and the woman working in the store was very kind and helpful. My burrito was really good and the fish tasted fresh. I opted to eat in my car, but there is plenty of seating within the establishment if you have a small party. This place is located next to the LA fitness in the shopping center. if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop here for a quick bite.”
“Hard to find but well worth it. First-class pastrami and corned beef, comparable to delis in Baltimore and New York. What's ambience got to do with it? Nice, friendly people selling great food at reasonable prices.”
“So look - don't go for the atmosphere. Definitely go for the pizza. Crust is tantalizingly light and crispy, they use high-end cheese and don't over-sauce the pie. I will return. You should try it.”
“I grew up in this area. The restaurant located in Four Corners was once the home to a Seafood restaurant named Fred and Harry's. Now there are 3 restaurants in its place. My initial feelings of the 4 Corners Pub were positive and I was frequenting several times throughout the months. The place is definitely a hotspot. On Thursdays half off pizza. On more than one occasion my order wasn't properly prepared and when I informed the staff they questioned me which left me feeling some kind of way; especially after all the support. Anyway, I don't visit that often except for their fries. I've ordered fries on numerous occasions and recently I was handed a box of burned fries. I contacted them and was told no problem that when I returned they would make another. When I arrived I believe it was the owner who questioned it; as I, by accident had brought in the wrong container which had some food scraps in it. It had gotten mixed up with a container I was going to throw away. I was told I didn't even have to bring it in. The owner kept insisting the fries weren't burned. They did however prepare me another which was excellent. Thanks to the manager. You are appreciated.”
“An awesome replacement for the sadly departed Astro Lab! We stopped in for dinner tonight and had a couple of excellent sandwiches, highly recommend the tri tip sandwich and my wife enjoyed her club, with a tasty Irish Red Ale and a rose. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a four legged friend with us so we sat outside, but with the big bay doors, the indoors was just as comfortable. We will definitely return!”
“DANG, WOW, HOLY.....What an AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, GLORIOUS customer service!I called in my order (I'm a virgin with this place), and even though we were on the phone, you could feel how wonderful the person on the other side was. Then, after 40 minutes, I arrived since I was driving from Virginia. The experience was even better! A warm smile paired with a how may I help you was the perfect and refreshing greeting after all the traffic and time. It was as if the lady was happy to see me... I can't put my finger on it, but she made you feel at peace , and as if the world was pure bliss. Just an amazing personality.FOOD:The Kilbasa Reuben, simple but full of flavor. The bread, sausage, and mustard blended harmoniously. I couldn't stop eating it. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't get two or more. It was very, very good.Polish sampler: A little bit of everything, but everything was spot on. If you're like.Me that you have never been to this deli, then you definitely must go for the sampler.Cheesecake: This is the preferred way a diabetic wants to die..... DELICIOUS! Not the American store sweet version. The perfect grandma sweetness version.Sweet Cheese Crepes: Oh YEAH!!! Brings back beautiful memories from when I had them in Russia.Filled Donut: (don't remember the name) Only item not my cup of tea. Again, tastes were there. Just for me, something was missing. I think that I got used to a bit more moisture. I do remember it was similar to the ones I had in Russia.Potato Salad: It definitely fills me up with memories and flavors.PARKING:Lots of space. You shouldn't have problems with it.SUMMARY :The food was GREAT! The atmosphere was normal, but the customer service was out of this world. They have to thank God, they're so far from me because they would have to kick me out! ? ? ?RETURN FACTOR:? %RECOMMEND A FRIEND FACTOR:? %IT'S A MUST VISIT PLACE!”
“Wonderful roaster and coffee spot. The staff are full of personality, a little rambunctious and connect with their customers. The coffee is delicious with a full body. I ordered a pour over drip coffee from their selection of different roasts and I was very happy with my selection. The wait wasn't too long and I got to enjoy the dialogue and atmosphere of the little roasting shop. They might only be open on Saturdays, but it's worth the visit if you're in the area and timing works out.”
“Wonderful, fresh, soft pretzels. Several different choices, all good. Note: you have to order on line, pick a time, and go there to pick them up. Weekends only. Well worth it if you like soft pretzels.”
“Authentic Greek food, amazing ambiance, and kind customer service? What more could you ask for? This restaurant serves amazing Greek food and you can tell they care about the food they serve and are very customer focused. I'm currently in town visiting but I know what restaurant is going to be my regular whenever I'm in town If you haven't visited, you need to, and get their famous gyro pita! You will NOT regret it”

“I went here for the first time today. Good happy hour prices and the staff was extremely nice. Josh and Grace were out wait-staff members and were super helpful. The busboys were also very attentive as well as the bartenders. Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, and staff, will be back!”
“I really enjoyed eating at Samantha’s! I was so surprised to walk in and see a lot of families eating in there, which told me this was a popular spot with potentially a lot of returning customers. We ordered the argentine steak that was supposed to come with a chimichurri sauce but didn’t appear present on the steak, more so “flavored” chimichurri I guess.. and I ordered beef and ribs fajitas. The rice and beans were really good and tasty. I enjoyed my beef fajitas, but the ribs were a little too saucy and more American bbq tasting than Latino style. I see that they have a pork ribs entree on the menu which I may try next time to see if they’re any but different than the fajitas.I really liked that they had a large menu with many options so we can try different stuff each time we come back. Will be returning soon with local family!”

“Fresh and flavorful food. I had tacos pollo. The platter was large with 3 tacos, black beans, yellow rice, lettuce, fresh salsa, crema, and guacamole. My husband had carne asada burrito and said it was the best he’s had outside of So. California.”
“Service was really good! I went late and they were out of some of the food I was looking at, but the bartender got me some delicious sushi! They served food after midnight, so I was grateful. The mojitos were super strong though! People were singing karaoke, dancing and having fun. Parking was limited.”

I like that I can specify the sauce packets in the app and they even include a reminder not to forget the sauce.Vegetarian options: Dedicated menu section with vegetarian options”
“Great service!! Came here and was blown away by how nice the service was. My sandwich was great and the cookies were fresh. They made the sandwich perfect. Didn't get soggy or have some veggies on one side and not the other side. Everything was distributed well. I would come back to this potbelly's anytime!! I would skip another potbelly's and drive further just to come to this potbelly's!!”
“Hello , I am Sean Hardman. This is another place I Love In Downtown Silver Spring ,Maryland . This is Potbelly's Sandwich Shop . This Place is Near a lot of restaurants In the Downtown Silver Spring Square area . Not that far from McGinty's Public House and other places . The Only place where you can find parking when coming by car is at the Wayne Avenue Garage area . then You will have to walk some to get to this place in the square . Once you enter int this place It has a Huge Dining area compared to most other potbelly's I have seen . Then On the right hand side when coming In they have a huge counter area where they have a open concept Kitchen where all the magic happens to prepare your favorite subs that you all love. I Love the Ham and Cheese Subs The Pizza Subs and More . They v=even has a rack with Potato Chips of your choosing . at the far end of the counter near the open concept Kitchen they have refrigerators full of sodas and more for drinks or they have fountain drinks too In this place . But the sodas I Like most there are the IBC Root Beers I get there once In a while . The customer service is prompt and professional and I Love The family atmosphere there too . They have live Musical Entertainment every now and then But not certain which days to entertain people there . I Look forward to one day Having a Job there as a cashier since I signed an online application 2 weeks ago now . If they have me, I will Ride for The brand . I will be Dedicated , Loyal , Flexible , Determined , Reliable , Dependable , And Devoted to them . I Look forward to working there if they will have me . If You all love this place as I do, This place is for you all . Please come support this place and give it the business it deserves . We all Look forward to seeing you all there really soon .”
“Foods good when you get everything you ordered and not need to go back for missing items. Atmosphere depends on the clientele that's in there.... sometimes the odd homeless or drunk in there.Kid-friendliness: Never seen them be kid friendly, never mind being adult friendly ?♀️?♀️”
“Yesterday, New Year's eve in the afternoon the drive through line was long. I went inside and there was only one worker. He was hustling and doing a fast and great job. I waited patiently because he was getting everyone their orders as fast as he could. The shop didn't have anymore comment cards so i'm leaving a big shout out to Tommy for fantastic service under extreme pressure.”
“We like this McDonald’s because they serve breakfast all day!Otherwise, it’s very consistently McDonald’s. We love McDonald’s they’re there, they’re always the same and they’re fast and easy.”
“Food was fresh. Hash brown was perfect. From experience working in a fast-food when I was a teenager they must have changed the oil with brand new oil to cook the Hash brown because it truly was perfect.”
“What can ya share about McDonald's? This is an optimally convenient location. Near retail, gym, gas station, bus top and schools. They are constantly busy, but take it all in stride. Surprisingly clean and orders are accurate.”
“Thank you to the workers I was got assistance from just 20 mins ago! You made my day thank you a thousands times! Just because I just had to say thank you. I might have forgot, just how good KFC is!!!?? ?? It has been awhile.”
“I have a gluten allergy and put in an online order. I typically prefer to order online because I can clearly dictate my needs & eat safely (most of the time*) without wasting 10 minutes of everyone's time discussing my gut sensitivity and what ingredients I have to be annoying about... so back to tonight.I paid but when I clicked 'I'm here' when I arrived for pickup, there was an issue in the app. I waited for the servers (who were slammed with the last minute rush before 10) to verify they got my ticket, and they hadn't. I was freaked because a solid gfree meal is a pain to find late night but thanks to the incredibly kind service staff I didn't get stuck waiting another 2 hrs to eat.Thu(? Sorry don't know if I remember correctly) painstakingly retook my order and, with the managers assistance, accomodated changes to the order due to desired items having been sold out since my order was placed. After verifying I had paid the first time, they made sure I had everything in my order, or equivalents, and hurried to help the next guest who was audibly frustrated with the difficulty of my order and how long it has taken to come to resolution.Grateful to be done being a bother, and awkward because of the frustration I heard behind me, I raced away from the counter, not realizing I hadn't given a name for them to call in the restaurant when food was ready. Despite my frazzled vibes, staff were able to get my attention, get my info and then serve the remaining few guests before end of service.Yes it was chaotic, yes we had to wait for the food, and no it wasn't appropriate to lounge and do dinner, but I super super appreciated that I was able to get actual food and started to chow down even before rushing out the door again.I know service is tough - especially late night rushes - that keep employees from getting home, is the worst time to deal with difficult customer service issues and when everyone is tired... but the consideration, grace & accomidation i received from staff tonight was worth setting aside time to leave a deliberate review. Kudos to the staff working close this sat. Really appreciate you.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”
“Great place to eat. There wasn't a person at the hostess stand so we looked around the corner and someone spotted us and came over to sit us down, less than a five minute wait. Super attentive, lovely decorations. Food was delicious. Plenty of options for spicy food lovers.”
“Came for lunch on a weekday. They offer a lunch special with soup and a main dish that seems to be a very popular option with the regulars. We opted for lomo saltado and escabeche de patitas (pickled pig's feet). The lomo was tender and delicious, accompanied by vegetables, fried potatoes and rice. The escabeche was perfectly cooked, not too vinegary. Both portions were very generous. Finished with tres leches and lucuma ice cream. The service was quick and attentive without being annoying. The place is well appointed and nice. Will surely come back to try some more of the extensive menu!”

Ikko Sushi
“It's a small sushi restaurant on a busy street but there's a public parking garage a couple of feet away. The workers/owners? were nice and quick with service. Even offered recommendations. Not sure if they get a lot of dine-in customers because my friend and I were the only ones there around 6pm. At the end of our meal the server gave us a small plate of fruit, yum! I would definitely go back for a second round.”

“I just picked up my order, delicious, first time I have bought everything, very delicious, the garnachas are finger-licking good, the chucos are phenomenal, very delicious, I recommend them 100%”
“I will remember my pleasant experience at Kefa Cafe forever. I ordered a macchiato and chatted with the owner, Abeba, while she prepared it. She made me feel instantly welcomed, and I learned about the tight-knit Ethiopian community which had sprung up around her cafe over the past 20-something years. I returned the next day and no sooner had I crossed the threshold that Abeba welcomed me by name and recalled my previous order. The coffee and pastries were both of the highest quality, but neither compares to the kindness you will find at Kefa Cafe. The walls are decorated with an enchanting patchwork of photos and documents from the establishment's storied past, connecting customers to a lineage of fellow coffee-drinkers which spans generations and continents. Whether you visit on a bustling morning or a lazy afternoon, you will be pleased by what you find here.”
“My friend and I happened upon this place yesterday. Chris (the owner) was there and answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. There were so many delicious-sounding options that it took us a while to order. However, we couldn't have been happier with our selections. I chose the Blue Moon bowl, and my friend chose the Tropical Acai bowl. Let me tell you, these bowls were substantial! I was very full when I finished, and enjoyed every bite. The fruit was fresh, the mix that it topped was perfect, and the presentation was top notch. I felt that the price was worth every penny. The atmosphere of the place was awesome as well. There was a throwback playlist from the late 90s going, and it took us back to our college days. Overall, the whole experience exceeded expectations. I actually didn't have any expectations, but if I had some, they would have been exceeded! I took my mom and sister there today and we got smoothies and Jamaican patties. Loved it all! This spot will definitely be in the regular rotation. Highly recommend. Five stars on everything. I love supporting businesses owned by Black people, and this is a wonderful business that I will be happy to give my money to.”
“Have been in and out of that Exxon many times, and never even considered eating here. I was hungry and grabbed a chicken quesadilla to go. It was one of the best quesadillas I've ever had, have since been back and gotten the steak and some other things. The cheese pulls are ridiculous. Hidden Gem!”
“I drive over 45 mins to pick my Pho up from this place. Hands down the best in the DMV. Been going here for over a decade, and my husband's family who put me onto them have been going here longer. I have 5 pho places within 10 miles of my home and still will choose this one everytime.”
“I went to this place for a birthday celebration and I had a blast.. We ordered seafood soup baleadas and pupusas. It was all DELICIOUS. I also had Micheladas and must say is one of the best I’ve ever had.I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back to try the rest of their menu.”
“Ordered the chicken souvlaki with extra onions and fries. It was absolutely delicious. There was some confusion about the location when I called but they were very kind about my mix-up. Will absolutely return. Thank you!”
“Best Italian hoagie in the area, even if they don't call it that (e.g. Italian cold cut sub). They also carry a large number of other Italian specialties in the deli case. Parking in front can be tough. Use the parking lot near by.”
“The service is superior in every sense of the word. The water glasses never were empty and attention was consistent, but not disturbing. Our group will definitely be back and are grateful for the delicious food, clean restaurant, and prompt ”
“Halal Brothers is one of the best hidden gems in Silver Spring! I always get the delicious chicken over rice. The chicken is always ultra fresh and perfectly cooked, portions are large, the white sauce and spicy sauces are incredible, it's balanced with the perfect amount of rice and greens, the price is low cost, and the owners are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend to all!”
“The staff at Crave is always courteous and welcoming. The food is fantastic for such a small establishment. I am glad it came to our community and truly hope it thrives!”
“One of my favorite places to pick up food from a truck. Pupusas, Carne Asada, Steak Taco's and steak or chicken Burritos are soooo good. If you only speak English, trust me just go because they understand. This place makes good quality food. ?”
“I don’t leave reviews because I’m lazy, plenty of good eats I’ve been to, with that said, you’re not gonna find a better breakfast/Lunch spot in the area. Not a place to dine but a carry out with good service, couple is ”
“This is a take out only spot. From ordering to pick up, everything went smooth. These are some of the best wings in Montgomery County, hands down.✨What I ordered✨~ lemon pepper wings~ garlic butter parmesan (my fave!)~ sweet chili thai”
“Checked out Trippy Tacos, and received the Birria Pupusas, and ordered a Horchata! The good: I really enjoyed the Birria Pupusas, as it was hot and fresh, and it tasted really good with the consomé that came with the dish, as I dipped it in for each bite. The horchata was refreshing, and it was helpful to cool down the steaming hot birria pupusas in my mouth.Overall, I would definitely return to this place, and check out the other dishes, as well as order the Birria Pupusas again!”
“I've reviewed before, but the new owner is sooo kind. The food is always super good. I've heard some customers be super rude to him just because delivery can take a while even though he tells you in advance, but either way he is always very friendly no matter what!”

“Used them to cater a charity event at the Fillmore in Silver Spring Saturday 3/9/24. Anthony was absolutely the best. Made ordering and making changes at the last minute no big deal. Two separate deliveries, both on time and the food was as promised and delicious. I highly recommend them for catering your next event. A definite 5 star endeavor from start to finish. Thank you Anthony and staff for helping to make this event a success.”
“The pizza is very good, the spaghetti and meatballs too. The house red isn't bad. Very reasonably priced and friendly service. A great find in the neighborhood!”
“Traditional Italian Trattoria - wonderful cocktails, nice wine list, generous portions, delicious food, attentive service, and a lovely corner table with windows all around. It is a wonderful neighborhood gem!”
“Selam Woldemariam is a world class guitarist and a legend in his home country, and it is such a treat to be able to catch him in this humble and elegant eatery on Fridays where the flavors and libations keep coming and everyone is treated like family.”
“Great customer service. Great food. Had shrimp mofongo. Delicious. Will go back again. Parking can be a bit tricky but was lucky enough to find one right in front.”
“We haven't been here since the pandemic, and it was a wonderful rediscovery of the place. We had the Triple Delight Sushi and the Shrimp and Veggie tempura;they were both very succulent and fresh. The servings were huge, for me at least.Service was excellent, and the service charge was already added to the bill, which is a nice change from having to do the math ?, though we did give additional tip as the service was really good.”
“Delicious food for a reasonable price, a good option to replace the overpriced rodízios. They have barbecue on Saturday and Sunday. I live one hour away but I still make sure to come to this place to treat myself once in a while. You should try it!!! ?The employees/owners are very nice too!!!”
“We love the food here. There are many good options although we often go back to same ones because they are so good - Montaditos, Buey al Jerez, patatas bravas, esparragos, chuleta, veiras, to name just a few. With the great choices even the younger members of the family find food they love. And the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We've eaten here for many years and will continue to do so!”
“I only had the fries in terms of food, but it was good and came out insanely fast. Atmosphere wise it was a loud trivia night but it's been fun to play trivia and interact! The service is also great!”
“Excellent food. Great Vibes and the owner is extremely nice and friendly. You can tell he really cares about the restaurant and guest experience. I highly recommend!”
“Vegetarian options: All pizzas have a vegan parallel version that is 100% delicious!Dietary restrictions: All pizzas have a vegan parallel version that is 100% delicious!”
“We tried this restaurant again yesterday evening and the food was quite good. Many Asian families occupied large round tables and the diners seemed happy with their choices. We enjoyed the hot and sour soup, double mushroom with mustard greens and a steamed Sea Bass ($34).”
“Food was good. Area is nice. Not too crowded during the day. Service was good. Friendly staff and waiter. Nice spot for friends hanging out or a little date night.”
“The place has some of the best food in the area, no doubt about it. Some of my favorite at the cassava leafs and the brown stew chicken. It is a Caribbean inspired business so. The snappy attitude at Caribbean restaurants infuses a delightful sass into the dining experience, adding a burst of vibrant flavors. While they may occasionally forget your drink, it only adds to the charm, turning every visit into a memorable adventure.”
“WARNING: IF YOU COME HERE YOU MAY FALL IN LOVE WITH THE BLUEBERRY ROOT BEER.jokes aside, this takes the title of my favorite place to eat in the dmv area. great food, great atmosphere, AND DID I MENTION THE BLUEBERRY ROOT BEER YET ITS SO GOOD HOLY CRAPbut for reals, great place to splurge on food and drink, a bit pricey, but the taste and portion sizes more than make up for it. the outdoor seating could stand to be a bit more "wind resistant" as my hair, which is very long, kept getting in my mouth and ruining the taste of some of my bites. also THE BLUEBERRY ROOT BEERDietary restrictions: I personally have allergies to shellfish, and the waitstaff made sure to make it known which dishes had shellfish in them when I asked, which was nice.Parking: totally right next to the building, park anywhere and walk in (I think, I haven't been here in a while.)”
“I come here almost every weekend. The food is delicious, music is banging and on point, the owner is super friendly and accommodating, and the staff and ladies are warm and gentle. Definitely a great spot to check out and have a great time in the downtown Silver Spring area.”
“I went today with my mother and I had the chicken shawarma bowl and she had the falafel bowl. I also had the garlic with fries. The food was good. The fries were crisp and not too salty. The chicken and falafel were fresh. I liked the Tahini sauce and the garlic sauce. This isn't our first time there. The last time we went my mother didn't enjoy it as much. I didn't mind it last time though, I thought it was ok. This time was better for both of us.”
“Neighborhood, favorite and go to restaurant. Sushi is excellent. We always start with the Russian roulette and it's so much fun, anticipating who gets the wasabi bullet. Service is quick. Cramped space due to its popularity. I would love for them to offer better wines.”

Cubano's
“Had a classic mojito. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Also had the assorted apps platter which included a ham croquette, a beef empanada, shredded pork, fried chicken, crispy plantains, and yuca. Everything pretty much tasted the same, no distinct flavor. Added some salt and asked for some type of hot sauce and that made things slightly better. I had a light snack this day for lunch, but I would go back and try some other classics in hopes the flavor profile is more pronounce.”
“I was a big fan of the former Greek carryout place here, but the Jerk House is an excellent replacement. Delicious food, friendly helpful staff and ownership, and fast service!”
“The atmosphere was great. Food was tasteful and good portion size. Love the details of the restaurant. Customer service friendly and good vibes to celebrate any occasion.”
“My wife and I have been tempted to stop by for a long time — tonight, we made it happen. And, it is all about the food — soup, entrees, dessert — all so incredibly good. Okay, nice interior, lots of seating, an intriguing bar, and kind wait staff. We will clearly return!”
“I recently visited the location and I must say Inwas well pleased. I am from NC originally and my Lady is from NY. We both have a passion for food. She owns her own catering business and I am a southern food specialist. We both are in agreement that hands down this is the best restaurant we have tried in the DMV.Heres why. The aesthetic was very appealing to the eye and that is very rare for smaller restaurant in my opinion. They took the time to make the space invititing. Secondly the wait staff was dressed nicely and very nice and assisted with the menu choices. Thirdly the management and host was very welcoming and greeted us well and engaged in conversation when possible. That is a 10 in my book.Last but certainly not least the food was cooked to perfection and not just a carbon copy dish. We asked for the chef to visit out table and he was very humble. He is definitely a hidden gem in the DMV. He deserves to be known around the globe.I would recommend this for a nice date night experience. Please make a reservation and get there early because parking is limited in the immediate area. I parked a block away but it was well worth it.”
“I loved visiting this bar and restaurant oh days I really need to relax with some good beers ? but at the same time be able to eat something delicious and then go to the dance floor to burn a few calories, the atmosphere is very happy and the staff are all very friendly and Attentive, I was impressed that the pupusas were so delicious, better than the ones I have eaten in a Salvadoran restaurant, the roast carnita 10 d10 we will return.”
“Great service and delicious food. Highly recommended. And don't forget to try the traditional Ethiopian coffee it will make your day. Thank you for the awesome service.”
“My friend and I enjoyed the chicken Satay and fried calamari Appetizers. It was a good place for a very late lunch that day. The beverages were good. We plan to go back for dinner soon.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is ADA compliant since there is an elevator nearby.”
“Very solid Chinese takeout. The customer service was great and delivery was quick. I thought the food was good and the price reasonable for a causal, quick, Chinese meal when you don’t feel like leaving the house. It’s my go to for that scenario.”
“Stopped by for some tacos after work and had excellent service ... I ordered 3 beef tacos. The flavor was excellent with not too much salt. I enjoyed the freezing cold beer and the work of icing your beer and serving it cold has not gone unnoticed amigos.”
“For a total of $16, my partner and I were more than satisfied with our food. :) Try them out! Torta (7.5/10)* Meat was extremely flavorful * Literally heavenly bites* The bread got a little soggy to quick for our liking* The pickled veggies (curtido) was okay Papas Locas (8/10)* Your standard thick cut fries - very crispy & delightful * We should've asked for more condiments on top”

Tacos Way
“I stopped by this place because I literally can't say no to new taco spots. We tried the Mexican Way and American Way tacos and both were delicious. It's 3 tacos for $12, which is a good deal considering that they load up the tacos with meat. Coupled with a mexican Coke and Jarritos, the taco experience here was (m)excellent. The vibe inside was authentically mexican with a novela playing on the TV and classic mexican music playing in the background. Sadly, I didn't take a photo, but I'll be back. Overall I recommend this place if you enjoy tacos!”
“Service was really good! I went late and they were out of some of the food I was looking at, but the bartender got me some delicious sushi! They served food after midnight, so I was grateful. The mojitos were super strong though! People were singing karaoke, dancing and having fun. Parking was limited.”
“(Translated by Google) It is a good restaurant serving South American food because almost all the meals are similar, the attention is very good(Original)Es un buen restaurante de comida sud americana pues casi todas las comidas son parecidas la atención muy buena”
“Society is the best - They were able to accommodate a large group of walk-ins in their upstairs lounge, which is beautiful. Their drinks, food, and service were stellar. Our waitress helped us celebrate & hookah was fun too.Thank you ?”
“This is a great salvadorean restaurant but their "Tex-Mex" fare is also great. Most Tex-Mex restaurants I've tried in the area since moving from Texas, leave much to be desired but La Posada won me over with their awesome, fullOf tasty juicy meat and yumminess burritos?”
“Great food .. we tried the restaurant for the first time .. got a take out. ..loved the food ,the green curry was amazing loved the flavors( would have preferred it to be little thick) the Massaman curry was on point .. .. one of the best Thai food I have tried in the area ( there are a few around ) loved the plentiful vegetarian option on the menu”

“I been a regular customer since 2014 . I always enjoyed this spot and the vibe. However as a dedicated customer I truly feel they are overpriced now . The price of this particular food and mandatory max gratuity is truly unreasonable to a point I feel us as customers are being taken advantage of . I traveled the world including Ethiopia and I can truly say they are truly overcharging.”
“Thank you for the delicious food, the wonderful hospitality and for your kindness. The servers were very polite, checked us out every 10 or so minutes and were professional in every manner!I'd definitely recommend the place to have a nice dinner and drinks.”
“This place has a really nice Sunday Brunch. The day I came, there was a Go-go band playing, which made the afternoon much more enjoyable. The bartenders were friendly and had great customer service. Best mimosas I had in a while. I recommended this place if your in the area.”
“Very Nice ambience, truly enjoyed the music, the service , the food. If you are looking for a place to hang out anytime, this is it! They have parking, security, food and beverage all in one place, if you do try the food definitely go for Shrimp ceviche it's out of this world??”
“I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, both cuisines were excellent - Indian and Ethiopian. I had a large group and the waitstaff, bartenders, and manager were extremely friendly and attentive to everyone, providing outstanding service. My friends and family loved the food and atmosphere.”
“If you know, you know. Same cook over 50 years. Food and atmosphere is the same since I made my first visit 45 years ago. It’s a shame some of the reviewers did not care for it. I could not imagine delivery or take out. Got to eat in. Parking out front free on weekends. Seafood Bisque and Combo Norfolk are the best! Great coleslaw also. Keep going strong guys!”
“I oder the steak, meal come with white rice, black beans which had old taste, tortilla, and salad. The steak was delicious, rice was well cook, salad and tortilla was fresh. meal cost $20.00. Restaurant has small lounge, where you can have a drink. This is not a high end lounge but a local restaurant for the area. Has good food for anyone.”
“Came here with a few friends and ordered the veggie combo and tibs. Service was fast and food was delicious. The coffee was great too and the ambience inside the store is quite pretty. Check them out!”

“A great place to have a meal and drink. Bartenders Kevin, Wendy and GM Johnathan took care of me. Great spot b4 the Filmore or a simple meal. My go too. Come thru.”
“Me and my Girl we went there for dinner at around 11PM and it was a Monday so the restaurant was empty. As soon as we sat we were server with chips and salsa; classic Mexican restaurant, I didn’t try it because I don’t eat it so I can’t speak on the flavor. One thing you must be aware. Is that the drinks aren’t refill. The water they sell is bottled (so you pay for that) also every soda is canned. So do not expect the regular refill in which most restaurants in America have. Here you will be paying for everything you drink. The menu is a great point for the restaurant. Well organized and self explaining. One thing that most Mex restaurants lack is showing every single thing that comes with each plate. They do a great job, not only writing everything that comes but also showing pictures for those who are not familiar with Mex food, great feature. Then I ordered some cheese popusas for appetizer and it was good. Then for the actual dinner I had beef burrito while my girlfriend had enchiladas. They both come in a plate with a lotta food. White rice, beans, etc. you get very full for eating these dinner platter. I just wasn’t very much amused by the burrito. I don’t think there was much rich flavors in it. Also the sauce it come with does not taste very good. It was very mid actually. But in general you leave the restaurant satisfied and knowing that every time you go there. You won’t feel empty when leaving.”
“I used the taco time food truck for a birthday party. Had a great experience with food. Guests went back for more. Offerings were delicious. Would definitely highly recommend.”

Los Chorros
“Have dined in several times with family and friends, this spot is excellent! I have only ordered from the Salvadoran part of the menu - you cannot go wrong with anything there - but others have ordered from the Mexican dishes and been very happy too. LOTS of food for a good price; the wait staff and front of house is very friendly, very easy place to take kids, too. $20-30 per person (not including alcohol) and you will be full all day with leftovers.Parking: You can park for free on the surface lot on Georgia Avenue (by beauty salon at top of hill) or use coins or ParkMobile to park at the large lot on the bottom of the hill.Kid-friendliness: Wait staff is happy to have children around - the restaurant is safe and easy for kids. Coloring pages provided, and young children won't tire of the chips and salsa. The kids meals seem to be high quality - "Azalea's Plate" for $9 kept the kids full and they had leftovers for later.”
“Our art association brought Money Muscle BBQ to serve patrons during our annual Labor Day weekend art show in Kensington - wow, wow, wow. The food was delicious (I had the pulled pork sandwich, my friend had the brisket sandwich); the staff was wonderful, and we sat under the umbrella savoring all of it.In addition, engaging in securing the truck for this event was positive in every way, and I look forward to including them again at a future event. THANK YOU!”
“My seafood experience here was a 10/10. I purchased large female crabs and they were superb. The seasoning on the crabs were perfect. I definitely will be returning.”

Red Lobster
“We wanted to quench our thirst for fresh shelfish and the nostalgia of the Red Lobster experience. We got it here. I would write on and on about it but there really was no weak point so A+ 100% great. We warmed up with some tea in some very nice mugs. Our bread arrived warm, excellent lobster and snow crab followed. See the pics for yourself. The gloves helped me make less of a mess. Thanks!Parking: The parking lot is a one way. Be mindful.”
“I grew up in the area and as a kid I always saw this place and was curious about it. Now as an adult I finally got to try it for the first time and I wasn't disappointed. When I got there it was empty so my order didn't take long at all! The staff was very nice and they keep the restaurant clean so I was happy to see that. I got the combo with the two pieces of fried fish the crab cake sandwich fried shrimp fried clams and fried scallops and it came with two sides. I chose fries and hush puppies. The food came out hot with a couple of sides of cocktail sauce and tarter sauce and the fries were seasoned nicely but not over seasoned. Each piece of seafood was decent sized and I got like 8-9 hush puppies so they definitely didn't skimp on the food. The white fish wasn't my favorite but that's only because white fish is something I have to be in the mood for and usually I prefer white fish to be blackened instead of fried. The crab cake that I got was like 50/50 crab and filler but it wasn't terrible all things considered. My favorites out of everything in the combo were the shrimp and scallops so next time I will most likely order those by themselves. My combo cost $28.99 before tax and I think their pricing is fair considering the amount and quality of the food they give you. This is NOT a gourmet seafood restaurant. This is definitely a hole in the wall so expect that going in but if you are in the mood for seafood I definitely recommend giving this place a try. If you are looking for delivery you can order with them through DoorDash. I will be back to try more things on the menu!Parking: There are not a lot of parking spots outside the restaurant so be prepared to possibly park somewhere else and walk over”

La Rumba
“Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We were coming back home from a long vacation around 6pm on a Monday, and we just wanted a relaxing place where we could get some good food quick. La Rumba didn't disappoint.”
“The food was amazing! I got a vegetable combo and the golden tibs. This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was extremely flavorful. The service was phenomenal. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant made it very authentic. The lighting was dim but the decor and style made it feel genuine. There's an Ethiopian restaurant next door with white table cloths and seems a lot fancier than Langano. I've never been to the other restaurant but by the looks, I would choose Langano any day because of the real authentic feel.”
“My family & I really like getting take out from here. Food is always great, special orders are ok & they actually follow through on the requests. Very friendly service.”
“I have only had the vegetarian dishes, but everything has been fantastic! The spicy Shiro is amazing and I love getting the variety of the mixed vegetarian options. Been here twice.”
“Really great Ethiopian Restaurant in Downtown Silver Spring. I've been to many Ethiopian restaurants for vegan food within the DMV and this spot really was one of the best I've had. The variety of vegan options offered is impressive versus other restaurants for the price. Nice location and friendly staff. They also serve great coffee and pastries as well. I would highly recommend!”
“This is definitely a nice environment with good ambiance. Service was also good. It has a great bar with plentiful drink options yet maintains a serene restaurant vibe.Food was good, not great. The steakhouse staples like meat, potatoes and veg were fine. Other more adventurous options to me just tasted weird and looked better on the menu than they ate. Coconut shrimp for me was the biggest offender in this regard. For me at least everything was seasoned too aggressively. Nothing over the top, but I needed to take a sip of water many times between bites. Overall, Outback pretty good but nothing to write home about.”
“I’m Colombian (both parents) & I gotta say this is one of the best Colombian spots in the DMV. I got the Picadera Colombiana and everything was fresh and tasty!”

“There was a misunderstanding by the manager. He didn't take my order correctly. I visit PizzaHut on Goshen Road so much I gave them a call. Then all of a sudden the manager knew what I was talking about...He corrected the order and I will more than like return to his establishment.”
“I’m Caribbean, but This is my favorite spot for great Cameroonian food. Their steamed Crocker with peppers and onions, Jollof rice, spinach, and plantains is what I dream about when I want a comfort meal. Service is always welcoming and friendly.Pro Tip:Ask for extra pepper sauce!Just a great family operated small business. Support them if you can to ensure they keep their doors open to us!”

“After my friend and I were stood up by an Outback delivery, we were so hungry and were pleased that Burger King had a delivery option via Grub Hub.Kudos to Grub Hub! The driver followed entry instructions, and the food came 10 minutes early and was freshly made. One complaint is that a requested ranch dressing didn't come in our bag (which had an additional charge, BTW). This is on the restaurant.Another complaint is that a $31 order ended up costing $49.00 after 2 service-type fees, tax and tip. The tip was deserved but wow...the fees are steep. We appreciated the service since we worked a very long day and Outback's non-delivery cost us over an hour and a half.”

“I work a few doors over and my boss and I constantly crave their burgers, so we’re there at least once a week getting burgers and cake, they’ve only ever messed up once (because we’re all human and it happens) I politely asked about the mistake and was compensated immensely with a huge box of fries! (Not to mention the fries are the best I’ve had in a while) I can’t speak for the chicken or anything else but I really recommend their burgers fries and cakes! The service is usually fast and they’re all really kind :)”
“We’ve gotten a chicken dinner with sides no less than 20 times (always takeout). Fidel’s is always so good, but tonight was the best yet. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy.. beans and rice both great. Love this place!”
“Just left this new spot in Silver Spring called Willie T's! OGM, I ordered a large lobster roll, catfish, fries, and the Rosa slug drink. All of it was f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s!! The customer service was excellent. Let's support this new spot. It's a keeper.Parking: I was able to park right in front.”
