“A little bubble tea shop with a couple private rooms. The teas were good and customizable. I ordered through the app and picked up but also stayed a while. The music was cool but a little on the loud side. It was a little chilly inside so bring a jacket. Employees were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the brown sugar boba and the cream cheese topping. So far I had the Osmanthus milk tea and Thai milk tea. Didn't enjoy the Thai tea it just tasted too artificial. Next time I'll try other flavors and update my review. ??I attached a photo of the food menu for those curious. They need to update their app to reflect the actual menu items.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, sugar free options, healthy drinksParking: Large lot plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Loud music lol“
“We stopped by for the first time today, and really enjoyed the ice cream. There are not as many flavors as in some shops, but I like that it is locally made. It was delicious, thick and creamy. I got mint chip and cold brew chip. I especially liked the strong coffee flavor of the cold brew ice cream. Others with me chose soft serve, and liked it. I was surprised to see that there were lots of free toppings available! There are many other local products as well, including bread, jams, dairy, meat, honey, and many other things. Definitely a great stop in Sykesville.“
“Fantastic experience from the food to the service to the atmosphere…we loved everything! Our server, Jack, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable…he made great suggestions which we listened to and loved. My BLT was very unique and super flavorful as was the honey habanero margarita. Wonderful find…we’ll definitely be back!“
“We were too full and didn't get to try the snowball but had a half and half Dole Pineapple + strawberry flavor soft serve and it was great! You can never go wrong with dole imo, and husband loved the strawberry flavor. Price was very reasonable and it was a great pitch stop after a cold beer at the Woodstock Inn!“
“The food is great! I had the duck and it was delicious. I so want them to succeed!!!! They just need to get their service together. We were a party of four - we shared an appetizer, four entrees, and split two deserts with coffee - we were there for 2.5 hrs - most of it spent waiting. That is just way too long. The worst sin was one of us specifically asked for creamer with coffee (lowers the acidity), was not brought w/ coffee, we were told "be right back w/ creamer." Never to be seen again. That just can't happen. But that was some good duck (and sauce and hash on side)!“
“Easily my favorite place for frozen custard/ice cream. I found this place shortly after moving to Maryland six years ago and have been back an embarrassing number of times since. While the classic twist is the standby favorite, blackberry custard with Oreo crumbs or the gelati with mango ice and vanilla custard are equally good.Pro tip: Skip dinner and order a banana split!“
“Picked up a 6-pack of your German-style Pilsner at local liquor store. I was reluctant to buy at first because it is sold in cans and I prefer long neck bottles. But glad I did. It is hands down the best Pilsner I have ever had. Full bodied, great flavor. Pour into a glass and enjoy. It's my go to beer now!“
“Waredaca visit on a stormy day adds a little sunshine with sweet farm views with horses. Tasty selection of beer on tap. Have been pleased with brew selection on each visit. Haven't tried their bar food, but did partake in a gut-bomb food truck misadventure, loaded fries. Noise inside the tap room was too loud for our group of four to have a conversation, so we hung outdoors in the rain under the protection of picnic table umbrellas. A bright spot on a rainy Saturday. Thumbs up!“
“Exceptional experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, offering great recommendations. Every dish was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks menu was extensive, with creative cocktails and an impressive selection of beers. Can't wait to return!“
“One of the best coffee ☕️ spots in the area! (Plus ? drinks later in the day). Extremely friendly and sharp owner Kelvin. Made us feel so welcome. Good coffee too. I’d highly recommend trying it out. Being a few friends while you are at it.“
“Do you enjoy at least two of the following activities? (1) Sitting quietly. (2) Drinking good wine that is reasonably priced. If you answered yes then Penn Oaks is for you. A welcoming and knowledgeable family run business. Two and four legged children friendly. Outside food permitted.“
“We had the fried pickels, with aioli, so good. Emily was very attentive, made an ammmmmazing watermelon crush. Great on a hot day. She was the only one tending bar AND waiting tables and crushed itCrab cake was delicious. As were the fish and chips. Will be back often.“
“Excellent food and great service. We have never been disappointed. They keep long hours as well, so when you realize you forgot to prepare dinner and it's already 7pm on a Sunday? You can still get proper, delicious food prepared fast.“
“Staff are awesome service. This place is a guick grocery store. That severe hot and cold food. A lot like 7-11. But bigger with more to offer. I would recommend this store to anyone who is quickly shopping. Or in need of something that u forgot from the supermarket. Good place to pick up lunch on the go.“
“Awesome interior, amazing and consistent service, and that’s not to mention the food. Best damn burger I’ve ever had in my life. Menu also lets you know what’s gluten free and vegan which is a nice quality of life feature. Highly recommend.“
“My family has enjoyed this place for years, I contacted the management about catering a party for my Father's 70th Birthday. They offered plenty of packages. The party went off great!! The manager made sure everything was perfect. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. Food, atmosphere, bartenders . Had a great time with friends. Would recommend you plan this place for any of your next occasions. A++“
“Love this place! Their bagels and sandwiches are fresh and delicious. We come here once a week for lunch, and they never disappoint. Super nice staff. If you haven’t tried the S’mores cream cheese spread, it’s heavenly! 10/10 recommend.“
“My 95 year old mom wanted a good Reuben, so we searched three counties for the best and found it at E. W. Beck's in Sykesville. She loves to show the rest of us her sandwich and say "look at all that meat!!" My brother and I prefer the salmon and spinach salad, which has a great combo of ingredients and an awesome dressing. On an earlier occasion my husband had the Hot Italian which was chock full of tasty meats and cheeses. All of us loved the Maryland Crab Soup. The people are kind and generous. (And sometimes just a bit forgetful, so doublecheck that you have in your bag all that you ordered, if you are doing carryout.)“
