I never leave reviews, but I HAD TO! I needed a cake for my daughter's 5th birthday. I requested a certain frozen themed cake that I could not do on my own. I requested it around a week and a half before the party. Ashley emailed me back with a quick response on my options and sent an invoice. The price was SOO reasonable! I picked it up the day of her party, it was ready for me, and everything went smoothly! The cake was BEAUTIFUL and sooo delicious! Everyone raved and I had to give credit to Ashleys sweet beginnings! :) Thank you, and I will come back next party!

I was sent a delivery of cupcakes as a gift and received 6 fun cupcakes. Each cupcakes was decorated with thought and each as yummy as the next. Due to this delivery of sweets, I tried this shop for a special event where I was looking for 20 cupcakes, individually packaged and ingredients labeled on each contained. Ashley was able to accommodate this request, which was great. I preferred to go with a local bakery than a grocery store. Each cupcake was like the next, perfectly packed and put in two large cake boxes. When I arrived to pick up my order, Ashley came right out. She showed me the cupcakes and was very kind. Her label printer was down so she took the time to hand write each ingredient sticker. That's going above and beyond and I can't imagine how much time that truly took her. Thank so much for being a great option in the Towson area!

Ashley‘s sweet beginnings are top notch when it comes to flavor, presentation, artistic ability, and professionalism. We came to Ashley with some ideas and she brought everything to life and then more. We couldn’t decide on what flavors to choose so we ended up ordering three cakes and six dozen cupcakes. Everyone had a taste of everything and even took home leftovers. A week later our guests are still talking about our wide array of desserts and how delicious they were.My husband and I are more than thankful to Ashley and her wonderful company for making us an array of desserts that were not only delicious but gorgeous to look at. His grooms cake was better than I could have imagined. She even included cake pops to go with the design I chose for my husband. Even the gluten free cake was stellar.This was basically the easiest part of wedding planning. They took care of everything, delivered everything promptly, and were so kind and communicated as much as I needed because of course I bugged Ashley with my questions and anticipation of the big day. She was sweet and helpful every time and always made me feel important.You must choose Ashley‘s sweet beginnings when it comes to the desserts for your wedding. It’s impossible to go wrong with them and you’ll end up with a gorgeous cake or dessert.

The cutting cake was beautiful - the gold foil was perfect and matched our gold decorations perfectly. We cut the leftovers into slices and they're in the freezer waiting for us! We had a mini-dessert table for the rest of our 120 guests. The black bottoms were DELICIOUS, as were the macarons and pot de crème. I loved how the macarons matched the cake and decor as well with the gold paint strokes!Total cost: ~$750 (includes small cake, 32 dozen mini-desserts, platter/tray rental)Covid-19 Notes: I had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19 twice, and Ashley was able to accommodate our new dates both times, without hassle.

I bought sugar cookies that had NO taste of sugar in them at all. They were nicely decorated as sailboats and pretty, but even the icing was lackluster. The chocolate tops had a nice chocolate topping, but again the cookie was bland. The black bottoms were good. For the almost $40 I spent in 7 cookies and 2 black bottoms, I expected a lot more. I like to support local bakeries, but this is not the first time for such low quality products. I think next time I will take my business elsewhere or refuse the impulse to buy while visit the other businesses in the mall. I wish you luck and hope you improve your recipes because what you are currently selling is a such a shame and waste of money for your patrons.
